5 races later the Air Patroller with Legendary Eight and Paw Patrol was heading to Texas Motor Speedway. On each circuit Chase and Skye were fighting with each other to the checkquered flag. As a result Skye won in Atlanta, Sonoma and won the last race before Texas - Road America. Chase won in Phoenix Road Curcuit and in Watkins Glen. Other pups also tried to get the podium, but only thrid place and they did so. Rocky took P3 in Atlanta, Tracker made it again in Phoenix Road Curcuit, Marshall joined Chase and Skye in Sonoma, Rubble took his third place in Watkins Glen and Everest joined her bestie on Road America track. After second place in 7th round of championship Chase knew that he must win in Texas, so he could continue his fight with Skye for title. His thoughts were snapped when Greg started to talk.

Greg: Okay guys. More than a half of NASCAR Championship is over. We have only three rounds to the end: Texas Motor Speedway, Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. Be ready for last two races: the lenghth of these curcuits is very big and amount of laps will be also big!

Tracker: How many laps?

Vlad: 500 laps on Daytona. This is actually Daytona 500 baby!!

Andrew: Vlad's right! And you will race for 600 laps on Talladega Superspeedway.

Rocky: Oh God!

Zuma: This is gonna be very hot end of championship.

Skye: Or maybe not! Remember how big the gap was between me and Chase in Road America! Almost 10 seconds!

Matt: Chase can win in Texas and the end of this battle can be really hot as Zuma said!

Leo: Exactly! But, eh, I need to say one thing to you.

Cyle: We noticed that when Skye was driving behind Chase, she started to drive more agressive than before.

Tony: And thanks to her, we could lose our podium in Watkins Glen!

Ryan: So... Skye, be careful and calmer next time or it can be paid by same coin to you. Maybe by us or maybe not.

Skye: Heh, OK! All I need to do is just stay away ahead from all of you and nobody will get under my hot paw.

Chase: I can deny it. Believe me!

Skye (smiling at Chase): We will see Chasey (touches his nose by her).

Chase (giggles): That's why I love her.

Ryder: Heheh I can see that. OK guys, we almost arrived to Texas Motor Speedway and clock shows 9:45 p.m!

Jimmy: We should go to sleep. Tomorrow we will fight for pole position!

Denny: So goodnight guys and pups!

Pups: Goodnight!

At 10 o'clock of the evening they fell asleep while Air Patroller made its way landed in Texas Motor Speedway.
