Chapter 33

"Where do you think you are going Rat?" Omkara frowns seeing her walking past his room .

"To My Room" Gauri replies innocently , They were back from hospital

Gauri shrieks cupping her mouth seeing her in the air "I don't leave my responsibility halfway " Om winks carrying her to his room

"Hulk" Gauri hisses hitting on his shoulder , He does this always carries her whenever he wants .

"Where do you think you are going cat?" Gauri throws back his words seeing him placing her on the bed and grabbing a pillow to move towards the couch .

Om chuckles hearing her tone "You sleep in bed – I'll take the couch–Now that you are fine "

Gauri frowns "Are you scared that I'll rape you?"

Om chuckles hearing her annoyed tone and walks back to the bed dropping the pillow and stretches beside her , Gauri turns sideways facing him , Taking her palm in his He says softly " A Tiny rat raping me? "

Gauri frowns hearing him and scrunches her nose irritated , Omkara laughs out loudly pinching her nose as She yelps and beats him "Don't underestimate the power of rats Omkara " ,

"Ahaan Show me then " He winks making her go pink as She diverts the topic blushing profusely "I Feel sleepy !" ,

"Really ?" He teases leaning down looking at her face and pulls her close to him and wraps his arms around her .She smiles against his chest hugging him tighter Feeling blissful as they sleep free from their worries .

"Bloody hell !" Ridhimaa shouts kicking the vase making it fall with a thud

"Why what's wrong?" Roop comes running hearing her Daughter's loud tone from the kitchen .

"Gauri is being praised and called the Modern Day Cinderella " She hisses showing the comments under the viral video

"You digged your own grave by writing that Story about Gauri – If –If –that Boy who came found out that it was You and Me he would burn us into ashes " Roop says horrified

"Shut up Mom There is no way he would Find it , even if he does –I can swiftly put all the blame on him " Ridhimaa tells wickedly and walks towards her room kicking the vase which was lying in the floor lifelessly and slams the door shut .

But Roop could say from the Ferocious pair of eyes that She had met that day it would not be easy as Her Girl thinks .

Waking up early morning in his arms , Gauri smiles holding his cheek in her palms brushing his stubble lightly – She feels ticklish as it pricks her palm . grinning to herself placing a small kiss on his right cheek and left cheek and his forehead and removes herself from him and leaves the room least he caught her romancing him .

Omkara smiles touching his cheek the place where she had kissed – He had been pretending to be asleep – to be honest he had woken up much more earlier than her and placed a small kiss on her cheeks but seeing her stirring he had shut his eyes – Trying to stop the smile that was trying to break through had been a hard task when she had kissed him . his heart beating loudly with her kisses and with that Omkara was more than sure that She is & was the one for him – He is yet to come to conclusion what he feels about her but decides to ask her out on a date – With high spirits he paces to have a shower grinning like a teenager .

Bhavya walks in cheerfully to the mansion swaying with her bags – "Superstar She shrieks excited jumping on her toes .

Rudra who had just sat and was taking a sip on his coffee ends up sputtering and coughing startled hearing her high pitch tone .

Bhavya rushes towards his side and pats on his back worriedly "Superstar –What happened ?"

Rudra passes a murderously glare at her through his glossy eyes , Bhavya cheekily grins but ends up laughing loud that Her tone had Startled Superstar .

"Bhavya I am not deaf " He snaps at her irritated

She grins widely "I know you aren't deaf "

Has She gone mad ? Can't She understand the sarcasm – But one look at he knew She is in a dreamy mode –Fangirling .

"Bhavya Call me Rudra or Rudy or whatever you like not Superstar understand ?"

"But you are Superstar " She tells dreamily sighing

Fangirling . Rudra Chuckles " I know I am – atleast to you more – but call me by my name ? I Feel awkward when you keep chanting Superstar Okay?"

She nods sulking "But I like calling you Superstar –Okay I''ll call you Rudy then?"

"What?" Mishra shouts walking in

"I call you boss So She also needs to Follow that " Mishra tells glaring – His Boss choosing A Girl over him had left his heart shattered into bits .

Rudra holds his head with his both palms sighing , Why did he have to get into this situation ? Who the hell told You to give her a job forgetting Mishra? A Voice at back of his head chides him . Her dreamy eyes told him so – His heart replies , Rudra lets out a troubled sigh yes her attractive eyes which pulled him like a magnet had made him give her the job when she said she was in search .

"You call me by my name too Okay Mishra?" Rudra tries to make peace but it ends up

Fueling Mishra more "How Can I disrespect you boss?"

"Then call me Boss " Rudra shrugs

"She too has to call you boss "

"Oiii Who the hell are you to dictate me?" Bhavya ends up getting into a fight with Mishra .

Rudra silently sneaks out with his cup of coffee to have it peacefully leaving the battle ground .

Rudra's eyes pops out of socket as he comes to the hall dressed after 15 minutes to Find them still shouting at each other .

"Enough!" Rudra shouts irritated "Are You both Kids?" , They hung their heads down in shame .

"Both Shake your hands and Get to My car –" They try to shake their head in protest but Rudra smirks "Unless You want to Be Fired !" ,

Mishra knows very well the cold tone of his boss means he will stand by his words but Bhavya was shocked to Find her sweet Superstar's cold tone – Startled She shakes her hands with Mishra trembling and trails behind Mishra to his car shivering .

Rudra once they are out of sight ends up chuckling seeing how Frightened they were . But He mentally prepares himself for the coming days with his PA's .

Two weeks passes by in a Jiff , Gauri on the hand had forgotten everything what had happened to her , Bhavya who had found it shocking had nudged her leading Gauri to tell it was Omkara who helped heal this soon – and had mentioned that She met Rahul and slapped him excluding their moments though . Bhavya had whistled cheerfully happy for Gauri . At the same time Priya had made frequent visits to the Mansion to check on Gauri – as they had got their vacation it was another luck for Gauri as She does not want to Face Rahul yet again.

Meanwhile During the Visits Priya and Bhavya had gotten closer to each other often teasing Gauri with Omkara's name as he had completely turned into a Flower boy . Priya wasn't blind to notice how Omkara cared for Gauri – even when Bhavya and Priya were Present Omkara would walk in to Gauri's room disrupting their conversation and silently force Gauri to eat or end up Feeding her leaving the other two women gaping at both and walk out with the empty plate silently as if nothing happened .

Meena maa who was back in a week was more than happy to see the progression of Gauri – She was back to herself and She knows who was the reason behind Gauri's healing , She would thank shankerji for blessing her daughter with her son each and every minute . In the mean time Meena had found it surprising to see Priya too joining with them on their mission of Omkara and Gauri .

Priya had clearly understood that there wasn't any other woman in Omkara's life , The way he use to gaze at Gauri with that smile and taking in her tantrums , those little teases filled with hugs – She had confirmed herself that Omkara loves Gauri dearly but She could not help but hit her forehead hearing the same chant from Gauri 'He loves Anika and He is Only My Friend ',

Priya chuckles remembering the way She and Bhavya would roll their eyes hearing Gauri and repeat the ever green dialogue 'He likes you ' instead of Love knowing Gauri she would shriek and bring the whole house down . Priya would try to grab an opportunity to talk to Omkara alone to make him realize that he has feelings for Gauri but each time something or the other would drag him leaving her talk halfway .

Rudra could not help but grin all the time , Two weeks He had got close to Bhavya – his day starts with her endless chattering and ends with her – But at the same time Superstar had to bear with the war between his ever-green PA and His Fangirl which always added to his entertainment , He would grab a cup of coffee sit in a corner and enjoy their fight .

Gauri had found it shocking to see Omkara's care increasing each passing day , She secretly craved for him when he wasn't around even with Priya and Bhavya around she would sulk not seeing him but when He shows up She would put up her full smile making Bhavya and Priya pull her leg until she would blush hard . Feeling of having him around and the Few minutes in his arms were the best She would describe - The Love for him increasing more but a small tiny voice in her would whisper He loves Anika – That would hurt but still she would smile through her pain knowing atleast she had memories with him.

Omkara on the other hand , grabbed all the opportunities which came by his way to be close to her , Only thing which irked him was her Friends who was stick to her like a leach not that he is complaining any sort off but he misses the time spent with Gauri alone – When they leave it would Meena maa who would run to Gauri . What has She done to him? He is envying every thing which gets a chance to be close to her – When He would get alone was only on nights where She would be on her dreamland . He would sit by her side caressing her hairs placing a small kiss on her temple he would walk towards his room .

In the mean time he had gone to meet Anika few times but Anika would ignore him by cutting her conversations short . Omkara knew She was hurt with Shivaay's proposal but He did not know exactly what could he do to heal her? To get back his Friend when She avoids him .

Anika on other hand was well aware that She is hurting her One and Only Friend but She couldn't talk him to Freely , If She does She would end up asking about Shivaay – and that would lead to a Fight as Omkara clearly knows how it would hurt her – Love is pain and broken hearts in her case – This pain makes her go mad with everyone – It hurts in a thousand times and she finds her stressed and depressed .

Shivaay on the other hand Feared Rejection yet again as He started avoiding everyone altogether , Why Rejection? He Feared they would laugh upon him , The little bit courage he had on talking to Gauri sinks Fearing that She too would Laugh at his plight – He hated being the Laughing stock – Two weeks He found the memes and the viral video removing from the internet with his Few calls and He could not help but smack himself Why didn't he try it earlier? Like he threatened to sue many if Gauri's articles weren't removed back them? – Only answer was he had tasted the pain of rejection and insult and that made him blank . But One thing which he wanted to make sure was his feelings but the he did not have enough courage to face the truth .

Bhavya was on cloud nine since She started working with Rudra , First Being She could meet Gauri everyday and spend some time with her . She was indeed happy for her friend who had found Love in the Best Man One could get but Bhavya could only shake her head for her Friend's stupid-ness When will her Boy realize that Omkara loves only her? And Through Gauri finding Priya was another wonderful thing which happened to Bhavya – Priya's love on her and Gauri only made Bhavya feel more lucky and Lastly Rudy – She could only blush remembering those accidental moments of hand brushes which makes him go pink more than her .

The Girls chat happily that morning only to Find Khanna to walk into the room looking for Gauri saying that Mr.Oberoi wants to meet her .

"Gauri I am sorry for what happened – "

Gauri cuts off Mr.Oberoi as She says "Let bygones be bygones " , She cannot afford to lose herself into depression again when she is out of it recently reminding about the horrible incidences which happened .

"I am impressed Very much – You completed your mission of getting all three together to the Memorial – Further Gauri --you have indeed changed the boys "

Gauri gives a confused look as Mr.Oberoi continues "I did see the Confession video – You made Shivaay understand Money cannot buy everything well " Mr.Oberoi wanted to add that she kept the rule of NO DATING OBERIOS intact but lets it go knowing Gauri will not break the rule least did he know that match making service was going on behind his back.

"And Omkara I could see a visible change in him – He is being less aggressive " ,

Gauri frowns but masks it up with a smile Omkara wasn't aggressive but yes a jerk she could agree .

"So as promised I have credited the cash into your account but in addition as your reward I am gifting you a vacation to Shimla "

Mr.Oberoi expected her to be happy but seeing her face falling he correctly sums up that She is sulking of going alone " Gauri I am giving you around 10 tickets you can bring anyone you want to after all a trip is not enjoyable without friends bickering & craziness "

Gauri's eyes lightens up hearing him , She does not need to go leaving Omkara , "I'll make sure it is memorable " She tells cheerfully getting excited .

"Does that mean you got more plans?" Mr.Oberoi asks smiling

"Yes !"

"All the best then in making them agree "

"I Grab it " Gauri tells cheekily grinning

"Priya aren't you coming?" Gauri shrieks over the phone walking out of the office

"No –Please – I need you to come Ohh –Okay—Love you --bye " Gauri hangs up the phone sulking as Priya will not be joining her as She had already planned to spend the winter vacation with her boyfriend .

Walking back to the Mansion Gauri finds Bhavya jotting down something sitting beside Rudra bickering "Can I borrow Your PA?" Gauri quips at Rudra .

Rudra looks up from his phone and nods in relief – His ears had been deafening as Bhavya and Mishra sitting either sides had been bickering continuously .

Seeing Rudy sigh in relief Gauri chuckles knowing exactly She had saved him – She had been a witness to The PAs Fights many times . Man it's entertainment !

"Oh Boy Thank God came !"Bhavya says puffing out in anger – tired from the continuous bickering about Mishra

" I need you to clear Rudra's schedule and make him agree to join the trip " Saying Gauri proceeds to tell the details of the trip .

"That would be Fun " Bhavya saying clapping her hands jumping

"But not so easy to get the brothers " Gauri replies sulking

"Boy" Bhavya says hugging her by her neck and taking her phone She shows Gauri pictures making her mouth form 'O' shape .

"Bhav this is Rudy in your clothes?"

Bhavya laughs and tells her the details making Gauri chuckle along but Gauri's expression turns weird hearing Bhavya "The Fact He wore the same dress I have been wearing since three years gives me pure joy !"

"But Gauri if the media gets hold of it –it could be a problem but I could make Rudy agree but clearing schedule you got to hunt Mishra "

Gauri winks showing her thump looking at the pictures intently as her head light brightens .

"Who are you?" Mishra stutters while speaking seeing the black hoodie man front of him . Mishra was called and threatened to meet alone in a shabby place if he wants his boss free out of a media scandal

"How--- much do y-ou w-ant?" His words fumble as He starts sweating profusely hearing the evil laugh after Seeing the Pictures of His Boss in the Girl's costume

"Not much-- clear his schedule " The tone startles Mishra as He nods sweating wiping his forehead with a kerchief .

"Okay –Ok –I'll do " Saying he runs for his life hearing the evil laugh again.

Bhavya laughs out loudly removing the hoodie seeing Mishra running for life , Gauri joins her as they high-five – One wicket down !

Gauri peeks hiding behind the pillar to see Shivaay sitting in the garden alone. Taking a deep breath with a smile intact Gauri walks towards him and leans down to see him plucking leaves from a branch muttering meekly 'I Love Her / I Love Her Not' spiel to determine where he stands .

Gauri kneels down and waves her hands front of him cheerfully "Shivaay how about I post a public apology in YouTube ? – Hey Shivaay look I got tickets – Let's fly to Shimla and Have Some Fun ", She attempts to cheer him up from his depressed funk .

"Stop talking You are distracting " Shivaay whines and continues to mutter plucking out flowers .

"Who is the girl?" She asks curiously although she has a guess Who she is . But Shivaay does not reply instead plucks the leaves chanting the same line again.

Gauri grabs the branch from his hand but Shivaay looks up merely picking another branch and starts all over again .

Gauri pushing the door slightly walks in to Shivaay's room that night trying to get him on the same page as hers but finds him sound asleep -Possibly due to his broken heart . Deciding not to disturb him She tries to get Her hulk on the same page .

Walking to his room , Her Cat's Room , She Finds it empty – taking out her phone she dials his number .

He picks it up "Hello" Gauri shrieks chirpily but Finds someone tapping her shoulder from behind – She turns around with her phone in her ear to Find him standing right behind her with the phone in his ear .

Hanging out her phone She addresses him in person "Jattadari We are going on a trip ", Omkara looks at her clueless

"You & me –" His lips curve up but presses in a thin line hearing the last bit "and Everyone !" She tells clapping excitedly .

"No " Omkara leaves loud and clear over the phone as he had not taken it down from the ear and walks out annoyed .

Gauri runs to match his steps "back to being a Jerk?" She snaps scrunching her nose

"Always will be " Omkara replies sternly and walks out annoyed . He had thought only they would be going but She is back to making Family knowing his dislike still she is trying *Urgh*

"Anika " Gauri shouts chirpily walking into Anika's house – Last time their meet had been the best – She got a sister in Anika but Gauri feels guilty that She is here for her selfish reason more than guilty She feels hurt to come meet her Love's Love .

"Gauri " Anika looks visibly surprised as She engulfs her in a hug

"How are you doing ? I am sorry I could not come – "

"Ani Stop – No worries I am Fine "

"Ani?"

"I can call you right?"

"My sister can call me anything " Anika says kissing on her temple happily

They sit to talk over a cup of coffee as Gauri gingerly starts " Ani – I need a help – We are planning to go on a vacation to Shimla everyone but Shivaay and Omkara are being spoilsports – If You join even they would – "

"Do You had to take it this Far?" Om asks grumpily walking in .

"I''ll come Gauri " Ani says stopping Omkara who frowns scrunching his nose

"I am not going " Omkara replies dead set on not going

Gauri rolls her eyes irritated seeing him adamant like a child "No worries Jat- " She bites her tongue while Om raises his brow "Omkara – Old grumpy Man stay at home we are partying "

"Rat "

"You Lazy Cat stay at home sucking milk "

"Sulk milk?" Om asks embarrassed what is she meaning

"Haa drink milk "

"Rat—"

Anika looks surprised seeing them Fighting like Tom and Jerry , Anika cuts him "Come Om " She pleads seeing him not giving in She says "But I am Going "

"I am worried about you " Soon as the words leaves his mouth Gauri's face falls but she masks it up with a smile and taking this as a cue She waves a quick bye and walks past Omkara without even passing a glance at him . Omkara angles his head and looks at her going .

"What is your intention in going Ani? "

"It's been long since I went to Shimla and The season is just superb "

"Stop acting – Why?"

"I want to Face him Om without any fear – I want to make myself believe that I can move on"

Omkara sighs as He says sold on the idea of not going "Everything is about him right?"

"Join – I don't have confidence to face him alone yet again "

Omkara takes a deep breath and leaves the place giving a sad smile .

That Night , Gauri bangs on Shivaay's room door , but no amount of noise wakes up the Devdaas from his slumber . Khanna who passes by taps on Gauri's shoulder .

"Gauri – What's wrong?" , Gauri puffing out tired tells how She is being trying to reach Shivaay since 15 minutes .

Khanna chuckles and says "Even if Someone carries him on their back he will not come alive – He is a deep sleeper Gauri " saying Khanna leaves the place giggling .

Omkara who was irritated by continuous noises walks out to give an earful only to find Gauri standing dejected holding her hips .

Seeing her past moments of them plays – Hugging & teasing's and Finally it stops in the Kiss – Where he kissed her to cut her off – The sweet taste of her lips lingering in his lips – His lips curve up but Falls remembering her reaction back in Anika's house when he had said he was worried about Anika – Om was soon to notice her face falling but Why?

Pacing towards her Omkara quips standing right behind "We'll you be able to get him?

"Jattadari I am in no mood to Joke – So please leave – and Everyone would be going to Shimla except the old grumpy man " Replying Seriously Gauri turns giving her back to him and continues to bang Shivaay's door .

"Ohh Are You going to kidnap him Little Rat ? " He asks serious and ends up laughing making her beat on his chest "Shut up "

"How About You get him and I'll To Join?" Omkara challenges with a smirk

Gauri turns ecstatic hearing him "Pinky Promise?" She holds her pinky finger .

Seeing the way She was looking at him adorably He gives his pinky finger promising and ruffling her hair making her grump annoyed he walks back to his room giggling .

Gauri – Stops banging and turns the knob trying her luck – For her surprise it opens making her slap herself Why didn't the Bulb turn on before in her head?

She frowns seeing him sleeping like a log while she had been wasting her energy .

Sitting beside him She slaps on his arms trying to wake him up but Frowns seeing him not showing any movement , Gauri pokes his cheeks with her fingers but *Sigh* No reaction . Lastly She taking her finger opens his eyes to only Find the Cat eyes staring at her in a scary way but no reaction .

Gauri remembers Khanna's and Omkara's words says "Even if Someone carries him on their back he will not come alive – He is a deep sleeper Gauri " , "Ohh Are You going to kidnap him Little Rat ? "

A mischievous grins breaks out showing her dimples as She pulls her sleeves up and leans her face towards Shivaay gazing at him mischievously.

Rudra packs his bags happily knowing that Bhavya too would be joining in . He chuckles seeing Mishra messaging him "Shimla gig" – Rudra takes the guitar in hand with a small smile remembering Her Love for Music – Mishra had gone on a vacation to visit his family so that gives him free space with Bhavya .

Omkara reads the message from Anika asking whether he would be joining in . Typing "I am Not " His Finger lingers over the send button as he sighs
