Across town Adrien was walking through the streets still having not gone home yet.

Adrien: Don't worry Plagg I'll find you something to eat. But I can't promise it'll be Camembert.

Adrien's thoughts were interrupted though when he heard the sound of laughing.

Santa: No need to grab now children. Good old Santa Claus has a gift for everyone.

Needless to say the kids were less than impressed by the presents.

Girl: These gifts are so lame and I bet this is totally fake.

She threw down the snow globe Santa had given her before reaching up and yanking on his beard.

Santa: Hey easy on the beard.

The girl and her brother then began throwing snowballs at the man until he fell over.

Boy: Totally, no way you're the real Santa Claus.

Adrien: Hey what's wrong with you? Even if he's not the real one what would Santa think of your behavior?

The children's father came up behind them and grabbed their shoulders.

Man: The young man is absolutely right kids. Say sorry right now.

Kids: Sorry Santa Claus

Santa: It's no big deal children. Merry Christmas anyway.

Man: Same to you.

Adrien bent down to pick Santa's hat up that been dropped in the snow before handing it back to him.

Adrien: I'm sorry sir are you ok?

Santa: Fine. Don't worry I'm a tough old Santa. But what are you doing out at this time at night? Are you lost?

Adrien shook his head and Santa draped a blanket over his shoulders.

Santa: You're not exactly dressed for the cold weather. Maybe you would like some hot chocolate. I've got some left.

Adrien: Sure I would love some sir. It doesn't get much better then that.

Plagg then chose that moment to stick his head out of Adrien's hat and cough signaling that he still needed food.

Adrien: Except maybe a slice of Camembert?

Santa: Oh you're in luck, I've still got some sandwich leftover.

He opened the sandwich and took out a piece from the middle before handing it to Adrien.

Santa: This is some of the smelliest cheese I've ever come across.

Adrien: That smells perfect.

He discreetly handed it to Plagg while the man's back was still turned.

Santa: To each his own.

He made two cups of hot chocolate and handed one to the blond boy. They clinked the cups and sat down in his sleigh.

Santa: So you're not lost then I hope.

Adrien sighed and looked down at the ground.
Adrien: It's my first Christmas without my mom sir and my father-

Santa: -doesn't know how to move on? I understand but your dad must be wondering where you are you know. He must be very worried about you. Now that you've gotten out of the house and cleared your thoughts a bit don't you think you it would be a good idea to go home?

Adrien: Yeah you're right.
Santa: Thatta boy. That's what Christmas is all about. Family together. I'll take you there on my sleigh.

He put his hat on but because it was still wet from the snow it was dripping water and made a squishing sound when he put it on. Adrien laughed a little and whispered it Plagg.

Adrien: Come on Plagg.

Plagg flew out of Adrien's hat into his shirt and Adrien handed his hat to Santa.

Adrien: Alright but you put this on. The friend who gave it to me would want you to have it.

Santa: A present? For me?

Adrien: Everyone deserves a Christmas present.

Santa: Thanks a lot son.

He smiled and took the hat from Adrien before putting it on his head. He then snapped the reigns on his horses and they were on their way back to Adrien's.

All throughout the city Adrien's friends and their families were out looking for him but nobody was having any luck. Ladybug was doing her part by using her yo-yo to get around faster. She ended up in the park and saw the pillar Cat Noir had destroyed earlier that night.

Ladybug: There is only one thing this kind of damage can bring. Cat Noir's cataclysm. Am I right? And look this gift wrap too. It's an important clue. It's from my present to Adrien tonight. Adrien disappears then Cat Noir steps in. He must be working to protect him. My only explanation. My speculation. Is that some super villain is after Adrien! It's a good thing I'm here. She then looked down and noticed something in the snow.

Ladybug: Footprints.

She grappled a nearby roof and began to follow the footprints.

In another part of town Canis-Lupus was still on the hunt for Adrien but she wasn't having any luck.

Canis- Lupus: He has to be around here somewhere.

She continued to scout out the streets until she spotted the little sleigh.

Canis- Lupus: Hey? Is that him down there? I'm gonna go check it out.

She began running across the rooftops trying to catch up.

On the ground the sleigh was passing by Lt. Rodger in his car, but because Adrien had his head down the man didn't see him.

Adrien: How about you sir? Where will you be celebrating Christmas?

Santa: Me? I have all of Paris. The whole world even.

Adrien: All by yourself huh? Ok here's what we're gonna do. Take me back home and have Christmas with us. I need you to bring Christmas spirit back into our home.

Santa: Alright then but I can't stay for long. You do know that Santa's very busy at Christmastime.

Adrien: Thank you

Canis-Lupus: Adrien!

Adrien looked up to see the she wolf heroine land on the ground right in front of the sleigh.

Canis-Lupus: What are you doing out here? Everyone is out looking for you.

Adrien: They are?

Canis-Lupus: Yes, your friends and their families are out looking and it didn't take me long to hear about it. So here I am.

Adrien: I'm fine. This man was just taking me home.

Canis-Lupus: Oh, well can I offer you a super escort?

Adrien laughed.

Adrien: Sure if you want to.

Canis-Lupus smiled and began following the sleigh as it headed toward the Agreste home. All too soon they arrived and Adrien pressed the doorbell. As usual the rather foreboding camera popped out.

Gabriel Agreste: Adrien is that you? Wait who are you?

Santa: Isn't it obvious? I'm Santa Claus.

Gabriel: Really now? That would make me the Easter Bunny. You're here for money I suppose. I'll get my bodyguard to deal with you.

Adrien: No you're wrong father!

Ladybug: No he's not. You're father's got the right idea. He's a supervillain under Hawkmoth's control.

Adrien: what?

Santa: You're all totally crazy!

He tried to run back to his sleigh but Ladybug tripped him with her yo-yo.

Adrien: No Ladybug stop! That man hasn't been akumatized!

Canis-Lupus: He's right! I followed them back here! He's not evil I swear.

Ladybug: I know when I'm looking at an akuma victim trust me.

Santa: Come on!

He snapped his reigns and his sleigh took off.

Ladybug: You're safe now go on home.

She threw out her yo-yo and began following Santa.

Canis-Lupus: Don't worry I'll stop her from hurting him.

She threw her whip out and followed them.

Adrien: Wait! Plagg-

Nathalie: Adrien!

Adrien sighed and followed her inside. Once he did he quickly ran up the stairs.

Nathalie: Where are you going Adrien?

Adrien: To my room of course since my father isn't celebrating Christmas.

Nathalie: Of course he is Adrien. Your father came to see you earlier but you'd gone out.
Now I'm just making sure you stay in your room this time.

Adrien: Yeah....ok...

Ladybug continued to follow Santa while Canis-Lupus followed her.

Santa: Come on ponies giddyup!

Ladybug used her yo-yo string to grab him around the middle and yanked him out of the sleigh into the snow. He landed headfirst in the snow then sat up and glared at her.

Santa: hey are you out of your mind?! This hurts really bad!

Across town a window opened up in a room full of butterflies. This room belong to a man named Hawkmoth.

Hawkmoth: Ah without even knowing it you're giving me the best Christmas gift ever Ladybug. An innocent many wrongly accused. The spirit of Christmas is broken!

He opened his left palm and a butterfly landed there. He covered it with his right hand and pumped black light into it turning the creature a purple color.

Hawkmoth: Fly away my little akuma. You have all you need to evilize this Santa!

As soon as Santa had yelled at her Ladybug realized that she had made a big mistake.

Ladybug: You....so you're not a supervillain?

Canis-Lupus: I could've told you that!

Santa: Of course I'm not! I think you've been reading too many comic books young lady!

Ladybug: I'm so sorry! Let me help you!

Santa: No thank you I think you've helped me enough.

Ladybug watched him go sadly and together she and Canis-Lupus used the respective weapons to climb onto a building.

Santa: Nobody around here respects the spirit of Christmas.

The akuma flew toward him and landed in his hat. That's when Santa heard Hawkmoth's voice in his head.

Hawkmoth: Well I believe in you. Santa Claws I am Hawkmoth. They wrongly accused you of being a supervillain so that's what you'll get to be from now on. I'm exchange since I've been good enough all year round I'm going to ask you for three gifts. Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Canis-Lupus's miraculous.

Santa: I shall deliver. Merry Christmas Hawkmoth!

Black light enveloped him and the transformation began.
