A/N: Hello again! How are you all doing during this crappy time, I hope every one of you readers are doing well and staying healthy. A little FYI to any Power Ranger fans, did you know that the actress who plays Amber Moore is also the same actress for Summer, the yellow ranger from Power Rangers RPM? Well, I didn't know that and I didn't realize until later. Cool huh?
Anyway, here is chapter 2 of the second movie, hope you like it and have a great summer. You know the drill: I DO NOT own A Christmas Prince. If I did... it probably wouldn't be too pretty. Now, let's get onto the story, later✌🏻!
Name: What the characters are saying onscreen
Characters talking through a device or narrating offscreen
What is happening onscreen
What is happening offscreen
'Characters thoughts offscreen'
"What the characters are saying offscreen"
Let's do this.
After letting that last thought linger in the Aldovian's heads the movie continued.
The royal limos pull up outside of the main entrance which was decorated with wreaths. Now inside the main entrance of the palace, also decorated with wreaths and red bows. Rudy stares in awe at the exterior.
Rudy: You gotta be kidding me.
Amber: Not bad, huh?
Amber spots Mr. Little pushing Emily in her wheelchair. Emily smiles brightly at Amber.
Queen Helena, along with the other aldovians couldn't help but stare in shock. Emily had hardly smiled truly since the king died. Queen Helena couldn't help but smile seeing her daughter happy again.
Emily: Amber!
Amber: Emily! So good to see you again!
Amber and Emily embrace.
Emily: I have so much to tell you. First, I received high marks across the board.
Amber: Shocker!
Emily couldn't help but smile proudly at her level of intelligence.
Emily: Best of all, my school's annual Christmas pageant is coming up. I've been cast as the lead role!
Emily did a double take. She was attending an actual school? Not just learning with tutors anymore? Had she finally convinced her mother that she wasn't as fragile as she thought?
Amber: That's so cool.
Mrs. Averill appears from behind Mr. Little.
Amber: Oh. Mrs. Averill. Mr. Little.
Mrs. Averill: Ms. Moore.
Mr. Little: Welcome home.
Rudy: Is this her? Princess Emily?
Emily: Pleased to meet--
Rudy: I heard a lot about you, kiddo.
Rudy crouches down towards Emily and playfully shakes her head.
Amber couldn't help but sigh. Rudy Moore was goofy with very little class.
Mrs. Averill: The Princess shall not be addressed as "kiddo."
Rudy: I am gonna bet that you are the famous Mrs. Averill. Rudy Moore, put her there.
Mrs. Averill looks disdainful and reluctantly shakes Rudy's hand.
Emily: He looks different in person. I thought he had a goatee.
Amber: He shaved it for the wedding.
Rudy: Oy-way. Good grip.
Rudy pats Mrs. Averill on the side of her shoulder.
Amber: Well, shall we?[laughs awkwardly]
Emily: Mr. Moore, have you ever been inside a palace?
Rudy: I went to Ceasar's Palace once. Now, I know, what happens in Vegas, is supposed to stay in Vegas, but let me tell you, there was this one time--
Amber: Pop, Pop, we can tell that story later. Come on.
The scene changes to Queen Helena looking at flower arrangements for the wedding.
Helena: No. Too bright. Too...too tropical. No. Too whimsical. It has to be...regal. New, but traditional. Youthful, but classic.
Amber: Rhododendron is a nice flower.
Helena turns around to see Amber and the others arriving.
Helena: Amber.
Amber: It's so lovely to see you.
Queen Helena kisses Amber.
'We've already met, I see.' Queen Helena thought.
Helena: We're having a welcome reception tonight in your honor.
Queen Helena gestures to the flower arrangements. Amber smiles.
Helena: And you must be--
Rudy: Rudy Moore, great to finally meet you!
Rudy gives Queen Helena a BEAR HUG and LIFTS HER OFF OF HER FEET!
"Pop!" Amber scolded. Rudy rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. He turned to Queen Helena. "I'm very sorry, Your Highness. I get a bit carried away when I'm excited. I hope you can forgive me." Queen Helena stared but soon smiled slightly. "It is alright. What is it you Americans like to say? No harm, no foul?" Rudy nodded and the two shared another smile before turning back to the screen.
Rudy: We're gonna be family.
Helena[a bit shaken up]: It's a brave new world.
They both laugh. Mrs. Averill and Mr. Little share a look.
Rudy: Hey, before you know it, we'll be sharing grandparent duties, me and you.
Mrs. Averill: Mr. Moore, Mr. Moore, you must be exhausted by your journey, as we are by your arrival. Let's give you a chance to freshen up, shall we?
Mrs. Averill begins to lead Rudy out of the room.
Emily: See you at the reception, Mr. Moore.
Rudy: we're gonna burn the house down, kiddo.
Amber: He doesn't mean that literally.
Helena: One would hope not.
Amber: Where's Richard?
Queen Helena looked towards Mr. Zabala who in return shook his head in a "no" motion.
Helena: Oh, I-I thought he'd be here. He's been terribly busy of late.
Amber nods understandably.
Helena: The King's duties never cease. Mr. Zabala, would you take Amber upstairs, please? Until the wedding, you're going to have your own bridle suite.
"Suite?" Amber asked, harmonizing with her onscreen self.
Amber: Suite?
The scene changes once again to a fancy door opening with Mr. Zabala leading the way. Amber comes in behind him as Mr. Zabala gestures to the room.
Mr. Zabala: Your suite.
Amber: Sweet!
The suite is lavishly furbished and decorated for Christmas with a tall tree. Amber walks into one of the rooms and stares at the spatial luxury. Amber notices a card and gift on a table. She picks up the card and reads it aloud.
Amber: "To my love, with all my heart. From this day forth we shall not be apart. Poetry can be a challenging art. If not yet mastered, here's a start."
Queen Helena couldn't help but smile at the poem. Wonderful memories began to fill her head as the movie continued.
Richard: It's a limerick. Of sorts.
Amber: Hey!
Richard chuckles as they embrace, with Richard lifting Amber off of the ground.
Richard: Sorry I wasn't there to greet you. I had to finish decorating.
Amber: Well, your decorating is amazing! I can't believe this is actually happening. It's real!
Richard: Oh, it's very real. "From this day forth, we shall not be apart."
Amber: Your poetry...not so amazing.
Everyone couldn't help but chuckle(except for Sophia cuz she's a bish).
Richard chuckles as they lean in for a kiss...only to be interrupted by Mr. Little.
Mr. Little: Excuse me, Your Majesty. An urgent call from the Minister for Economic Affairs and the Prime Minister. They insist.
Richard: I have to take this. We'll have our time this evening at the reception.
Amber looks concerned as Richard walks out.
A/N: Hello again. I hope you enjoyed this update. Funny thing is, while I was writing this I went out for a bike ride with my mom and older sisters to this one beach that also had a long stone pier. About halfway on the bike ride home, huge droplets of rain fell on us and we spent the rest of the way back riding in the rain. It got so bad I could barely see from my glasses and some even got in my eye. We were all soaked when we finally got back but it was still fun.
