I was looking at the box my mother had made and thinking about how I was to open it. The box could only be open by telling the truth. You had to tell something you didn't want to admit to anyone.... not even to yourself. I sighed as I put it down and walked out of my room to see Fenn Rau staring at me.

"You didn't." I said glaring at him.

"I knew you wouldn't tell them..... so I made the choice for you." He said turning to face me.

"That wasn't your choice! It was mine if I didn't wanna tell them you didn't have the right!" I yelled.

"I did have a right if you remember I was your betrothal."

"Yea and if I remember I told you I would never marry a man who only thought of himself." I said as I pushed past him.

I walked out of the room and bumped into Ezra who smiled at me.

"Hey Kanan wants to talk to you." Ezra said happily.

I sighed as I walked past him to see Kanan holding the Darksaber.

"Where did you get that?" I asked as I backed away from it.

"Maul.... he hid it and we got it." Kanan explained.

"We want you to wield it and bring peace to Mandalore." Fenn Rau said walking behind me.

"I can't I'm sorry." I said as I ran out of the room.

I made it to my room and set on the floor covering my face as tears streamed down my face.

"What happen with that blade?" Ezra asked.

"I was ten years old when Maul came and took Mandalore from my mother. She was a pacifist and wouldn't fight them. My father came to save her but Maul took that blade and killed her with it. I watched my mother die in my father's arms and I could do nothing. I can't rule Mandalore Ezra.... I'm not my mother." I said as tears ran down my cheeks.

"No one wants you to be her.... we want you to be Mia the greatest fighter I know." He said smiling at me.

"I miss her so much.... I miss my mother." I said as I started to shack.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and I turned to hug them. I knew before I opened my eyes that it was Zeb. He had become my closest friend and I counted on him for everything.

"I'm here Mia.... I'm here." He whispered as he hugged me tightly.

"Hey I hate to ruin the moment but look." Ezra said as he pointed to something on my bed.

I turned to look at the box to see that it was open and that there was a note inside with the ring.
