Brayden POV…

Nicholas knocked on my door, acting as though there was a much bigger problem than the rumor that I was not the real Brayden—which, to be honest, is not a rumor at all if it is true, but who is going to tell them? Ah well, I am here at last. Vicxa can essentially attest to that for you.

“Nicholas what's now?“ I yelled while the door was still close

“Sir, you gotta come out. I have important news for you”

I heard him, and I did not say a word. Just let him hang there. Shortly after, he continued to sing the same tune.

“Sir, are you there. It is really important,”

When Grayden heard him, he left his room, which was located a few blocks away from mine.

“What the fuck is wrong again?“ He asked

So do I, still with the same mask on.

“What?“ I asked as well

“Everything is wrong,” he replied

“Spit it out already,” says Grayden

“The president is on his way coming here right now,”

“Great, still about the same rumor again, isn't it?“ Asked Grayden

“I'm not saying it's because of that, and I'm also not saying that it's not,” exclaimed Nicholas

“What else would have brought the president here at this time?“ rambled Grayden

“Great question. I think we are about to find out right...now. He is outside”

“I thought you said he is on his way, I didn't hear he was waiting outside” I said

“did i?“ Ask Nicholas

“Fuck” I simply Said

“I think you should dress up now sir”

“Aren't I already dressed up?“

“Yes, but the clothes that I sent 1h ago Is more appropriate to meet with the president”

“So you know he was coming?“

“No, believe me. We just got the news.”

And I suddenly get inside and slam the door in his nose. All that time Grayden already make his way inside his room as soon as he heard the president was not only on his way but he was outside.

A few moments later we get out and as soon as I got outside the president leave his car.

There was a lot going on,  his cottage presidential was everything. He may have arrived in a car with three elicops and all of the other cars trailing him, in addition to the police who led the way.

I dash downstairs to meet him all of a sudden.

He said, "I am not shaking your hand until I see who is behind that mask," as I was getting ready to shake his hand.

Vicxa run down the stairs to warn the president of something.

“Mr. The president don't, cause he is really sick, I even got infected" (cough)

Then his guard pulled him back.

I make Vicxa sign to not worry. I look in my watch, and without saying a word, I put my hand on the mask and start to take it off.

“I don't think I am anymore”

The president walked towards me, thinking that he was going to shake my hand. Instead, he gave me a hug.

“I knew that it wasn't true” the president sighed

Then i whisper “ I'm afraid that it was true, Mr. The president”

He seemed ready to lose it, so I drew him in closer and said, "Please calm down; I have a good explanation, but it is not here." The cars have ears” I stated

“You better” He simply responded, and he shook Grayden hand in his way in.

“Grayden my friend, nice to see you”

“ Likewise Sir”

“Anyway my son, let's get inside cause it's freezing, and we have a lot to talk about” the president exclaimed

With him in front of us, Grayden came next to me and asked me “how did you pull that off, I thought you weren't really sick, so how come she is coughing now?“

“I know that she was about to get in, so I spray an allergic liquid in my room, and I protected myself from it just before that. No worries, it's only going to last for a few hours” I stated

He looks at me. He shakes his head and then smiles proudly.

“Sir, I sincerely apologize for this morning, I'll be here waiting for the consequences”

“Vicxa I will come back to your case later, not now”

"Yes sir understood" (coughing)

“Don't worry about that coughing thing when you came in my room earlier, i was a few hours from completely getting cured, go find my doctor and he'll give you something, you should be fine by tomorrow morning”

“I'll be on my way now”

She stops, and I also stop waking. She looks at me, and I look at her.

“And thank you for everything. I really mean it”

Just before heading to the health room, she let out a quick exclamation.

Darcy POV…

I was lying on a sunlounger next to the pool and him swimming in. My gaze was fixed on him when he emerged, his hair dripping wet and water cascading down his body. Everything about him seemed flawless, even his six-pack. However, as soon as I told him that I was staring at him, I quickly looked away.

“What?“ He asked

“Nothing” I sighed

“It's not nothing since I saw you staring at me, D A R C Y”

“I bet that isn't new to you, seeing people staring at you, so it's not a big deal,”

“Indeed it isn't, but seeing you, Darcy Amilton, looking at me like that, it is totally new to me, and I'm proud of it,”

I smirked, and then he came and sat next to me.

“Are you ready to get outside, to go running in the street in the morning and go out to eat just like a…”

“A date?”  I interrupted him since I knew what he was about to ask me.

“Oh, that's how you call it,”

“Yes. A date.” I exclaimed

“Allright then, it's going to be a date…let's make it public tomorrow so that everyone knows that you are okay”

He glanced at me and saw the way I looked down after he suggested that, and then he ask “Are you scared?“

I did not respond

“Don't be cause right now you are with me you are hors du danger!!” he carried on

“and who are you to make me believe that you can protect me,” I asked while staring at him right in the eyes

“someone people know to not mess with even that guy who is terrorising everyone right now goes by Black face,”

“So you are the danger itself?“ I asked him once again

“Exactly” He simply sighed

Then I smirked

“Now for real, who are you?“ I continued

“I am a guy who left a complicated, toxic call it what you want to... left a toxic family behind so I can walk my own path… or I can say I am here for a really important matter” He exclaimed

“Right? What is the matter then? You don't have to hide who you really are to me. I want to... know you” I whispered while touching him with that one finger, and he glanced at my finger.

“Let's say that I am a prince coming from a kingdom far far away because my family looking for a successor to continue the line so I am looking for the one who were meant for me…so I can make that happen…" he said

"And also to make them see that I am doing great without them, their wealth, shit like that. What about that” He added

Then we started laughing.

“Listen, you will know them, and the real matter I am here soon, I promise. It's going to be a big suprise” he continued

“Okay” Then I got up “now it's my turn” and I dive in the pool.
