That day was finally the day. It was the time. It was finally the moment.

"Discord, you're...you're serious?" Spike asked as he, Big Mac, and Discord were in a very shiny shop.

"Well, yes. I think it's time for me to finally express a certain feeling of mine..." Discord explained, not looking in the same direction as his two friends.

"Wow. The Lord of Chaos beated you, Big Mac. When are you going to?"

"When I WANT to talk a lot." Big Mac answered.

The three males walked around the whole store, seeing other stallions as well trying to find the perfect match. All of them were sweating as much as a sports player would after running 25 miles straight.

Discord, on the other hoof, had not one drop of worry roll from his body. He was in his normal state, as usual. At least, from the outside.

He got used to hiding his true feelings from others. The only ppny who he doesn't mind EVER sharing to is the special pony he wanted to be with.

Celestia...

Nope, that's false, he saw some shippers shipping him and dislestia last night, so it got stuck in his head.

He was disgusted from that image.

No, the one mare was perfect to him. He didn't want to risk loosing her, so he was truly nervous picking out the correct object that would hold special meaning in his heart and mind.

As he was picturing his wondeful marefriend, Spike interrupted.

"Discord, what's the plan? Do you even have a plan?"

"Well, obviously, I have one. I will woo her with my skills, then bring out..." He stopped to pick and show the perfect one. "THIS BIG BABY!"

The dragon and stallion saw it, and there were literal sparkles shinning in their eyes. Spike's wing dropped from the beautiful shock.

"I want to eat that, Discord. She is totally going to say yes..."

"Good. I'll take this one!" Discord projected.

"But only if you do something special, because you did nothing for her last week!" Spike interrupted. "Valetine's day..."

Discord looked at his O.A.O pals... then his face lost color.

"Crap! Here you go, good sir! Thank you!"

Discord snapped his claw, having millions of bits dropping onto the head of the seller. The pain gave him millions of bumps jumpingup in the air, which was the reverse direction of the bits.

The three of them let the store, and went everywhere to collect everything for Discord's big night.

Finally, after a whole day, they were ready! Unfortunately, Big Mac couldn't attend the rest of the night, for he had his own plans for his marefriend.

Discord checked around to make sure all was ready. As he was, he saw that Spike's eyes were red, and he smelled like someone vomited, a dog ate it, and vomited it again, but in this case, it was Spike who was about to throw up.

"Spike," Discord started, "are you drunk?"

"Maaaaayyyyayyyaabbbeea." He twirled around in the sky.

"Ugh, I knew I should have kept the champane bottle in my house until YOU left, and SHE came."

"Oh, well." Shrugged Spike. Discord got him out of the perfect equation, and it was now him, the big, bright moon, clouds, his decorations, with an empty bottle of alcohol, and... that's it.

He stared deeply into the blue, cold sky. They were on top of the soft clouds, but still everything was blank.

"Geez, couldn't Princess Luna added some sparkles to this occasion?" As he whispered, the words twirled around his mind. It went through one of his ears, and stayed in there.

"Huh... What if I...yes..." He worked up some magic to create some shine through the sky.

"Hope Luna wouldn't mind..."

As 30 more minutes passed, he snapped Fluttershy on the soft clouds.

The sweet Pegasus was scared from what just happened. The shock was so hard, she didn't even scream.

"Uh...Uh..." she whimpered.

"SURPRISE!" HE SCREAMED! She jumped and squinted her eyes, but once she opened them, she calmed down, and took a deep breath.

"Oh, it's just you. Hello, Discord."

"Hello, my sweetie! Sorry to take you out by a surprise, but.. well... it needed to be a surprise."

"Huh?" Fluttershy looked confused. She glanced at him the whole time, and her startled state made her not see the beauty that she was stepping into. The wind danced with the two creatures, and the moon shined. 

Rose pedals flew in front of her, but glided to the sides. Tons of stars reflected in her dark cyan eyes. The clouds were pillows, and the sky was the blanket. The scent of vanilla came from a couple of candles, and the smell of tiramisu was strong in a positive way.

"Oh, my. What's the occasion?" She asked, gazed into the moon.

"Well, I just wanted to say a couple of words..."

Discord:
