Chapter 3 scrap
I'm terribly sorry for not updating in forever. Enjoy. I mean if you want I'm not forcing you to.
*Reader's POV*
I had only been let out of the hospital a few weeks ago and had spent that time at home healing. But today is the day. My first day at UA. "Are you ready to go yet (Y/N)!" Jack shouted from downstairs. "Coming!" I yell back. I looked in the mirror, my reflection staring back at me. Then, just as I were about to go downstairs, I realized I was missing something. That something being the necklace I always wear. It's a star, a crescent moon, and a sun. (I'm horrible at explaining things I know.)
"Come on you're going to be late!" Jack shouts again. I run downstairs and see he's waiting in the kitchen. I smile sheepishly and he gives me an 'I knew this would happen' look. "I already put your lunch in your bag now go you're going to be late," he says. I run around the island in the middle of the kitchen and hug him before grabbing my bag and heading out the door, in too much of a rush to even thank him.
*Time Skip*
I hurry to my class, class 1A, and round the corner only to be greeted by enormous wooden doors. I slowly approach them and knock softly. "Come in," a voice says from the other side of the door. I take a deep breath and open the door. The first thing I see is my teacher, a man with shoulder length black hair, and is covered in bandages. I can still see his eyes though. 'How is that possible?' I think to myself, but quickly push it out of my mind. I walk over to him and he says, "This is the new student, (Y/N). Sit wherever you find an empty seat." I nod and look at the class then give a small shy smile and find a place to sit. "As I was saying my well being is irrelevant. More importantly you're fight isn't over yet." "Our fight?" a familiar looking ash blonde questions quietly. "Don't tell me.." a green haired boy says to himself. 'Wait! That's Izuku! He looks different. Definitely not the small fragile boy from before.' I think, remembering the small green haired boy I had met as a kid. "Not more bad guys!" a scared, short boy with three purple spheres on his head says quickly, making me remember the news report I had seen. "The UA sports festival is about to start." Aizawa says in a monotone voice. "Yes!" a boy with spiky red hair shouts. "Ugh! Why would you scare like that!" the class shouts, making me jump slightly. "The sports festival!" The class yells again, only scaring ,me a little as I try to calm my rapidly beating heart. "Let's go kick some a**!" the boy with spiky red hair yells before a boy with blonde hair and a black stripe pushes his face away. "Wait a second-" he starts but a girl with short blueish purple hair and earphone jacks coming from her ears cuts him off, "Is it such a good idea to hold the sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" "They could attack once we're all in the same place," another boy says. "Apparently the administration thinks this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever. Plus they're beefing up security compared to past years. This event is a big deal for all students at UA it's not something we can cancel just because of a few villains." Mr.Aizawa replies. "Uhh, I'm sorry but why not? It's just a sports festival." The purple headed boy said nervously. I stay quiet as I try to keep up with who is speaking. "Mineta don't you know how important this competition is?" Izuku asks, turning to face the purple headed boy behind him. 'So his name is Mineta. That makes three names I know. Wait, I can't count Mr.Aizawa everyone knows his name.' I think, fighting with myself over how many names I know. "Of course I do, I just don't want to get murdered," Mineta says, nervously. "Our sports festival is one of the most watched events in the world. In the past everyone obsessed over the Olympic Games, but then quirks started appearing. Now the Olympics have been drastically reduced in scale and viewership. For anyone who cares about competition, theirs one that matters, the UA sports festival." Mr.Aizawa says. "That's right and top heroes everywhere will be watching," a raven haired girl states, squeezing her hand into a fist. "This is where you get scouted," she finishes. "Yeah! Unless you're dead," Mineta replies. "She's right. After graduating a lot of people join hero agencies as a sidekick-" the blonde boy with a black lightning stripe says before, once again being cut of by the purple haired girl. "That's as far as some people go. They miss their chance to go solo and stay eternal sidekicks. Actually that's probably where you're headed. You're kinda of dumb," she says as an offended look dawns his face. "It's true that joining a hero agency can get you more experience and popularity. That's why the festival matters. If you want to go pro one day this will open a path for you. One chance a year, three chances in a life time, no aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival." Mr.Aizawa says. Looking around the room I notice everyone looks very determined, well most do. "That means you better not slack off on your training." "Yes sir." everyone says, except for me. I'm just thinking of how I can win this festival without using my demon quirk. "Class is dismissed," Aizawa says. 'That was fast.'
*time skip to lunch*
"Yeah that villain stuff is bad, but I'm pumped for these games!" the red headed boy shouted.
