She picked out of the window and watch as literal mayhem descended on the camp with campers running every which way, screaming in fear. She chuckles and looks back over to the small table that housed a trio that was playing a round of pinochle.

"My, my, the mere chaos happening outside is just so amusing." Juniper didn't look away from the game as she lays down another card and said "Oh, stop it, andromeda. If we were the same as back then we would be a part of the frenzy too."

"Okay, true. There's no point in denying it," she said as she looks back out the window in time to see one camper steal another camper's supplies. And in the sea of madness, you can see only one girl standing relatively calm, staring a the blue house with a contemplating look before she starts to walk away. Andromeda stares straight back out at her until the young wise girl finally disappeared into the crowd. she took one final glance outside before stepping away from the window while saying" and old owl girl already knows somethings up." as she sits down at the table watching the game in front of her.

Like before, Juniper does not take her eyes away from the cards in front of her, responding in a nonchalant tone." Not really impressed. We weren't exactly being inconspicuous about it." she lay down another card when it was er turn again before continuing," And if she chooses to investigate, let her do her little investigation. Let her deal with the can of worm she'll open up."

Then at that moment, Mr. D declares, "it's been fun but it's time to end this little game once and for all. I win." he lays down his hands of cards. but then Chiron butts in saying "oh, the contrary my dear friend. I believe the game goes to me." from what she can tell and remember from the game, Chiron's hand was indeed better then Mr.D's. But then the unexpected happens.

"Boys, Boy, you're both pretty but I believe the game goes to moi." declared juniper as she lays down her winning hand for all to see, with a smug smirk on her face.

Mr.D took several moments to examine the cards and see if that was the case. being beaten by Chiron for several years made it a possibility that he won't always win against the horse bu this was definitely new. He hmms and it back in his seat, accepting the cruel reality of the more people being able to bet him.

Chiron, on the other hand, had already accepted the truth long before Dionysus and was already congratulating juniper" good game, Ms. Juniper. I never knew you played pinochle."

"well, there isn't much a forest nymph can really do, especially before andromeda came around. so I and some others would usually spend our time playing a variety of card games. Sometimes we would even have little tournaments. I was reigning champ for the last 3 years."

andromeda swore she heard Mr. D murmur something along the lines of going to the forest and checking this out. he reached over to the pile of cards to put them back in the deck and put them away.

"so," Chiron started as he straightens himself in his wheelchair at the head of the table.

"shall we get straight to business?"
