I feel like I haven't updated this story in foreverrrr...

No One's POV: It was the weekend. This meant a break from all things difficult. No school, no work. This was the time for relaxation. The sun was shining brightly and a cool breeze  flowed by, bringing relief from the heat. It was a perfect day for family and friends to perhaps take a walk together, go to the park, or ride their bikes. You would be crazy if you chose to stay inside on a gorgeous day like this.

Well then crazy is what you'd call Spray Cray. He was laying down on his light gray queen sized bed. His curtains were closed, only allowing the smallest bit of light to enter into the already dark room. His colorful jacket and splotchy black scarf were hanging from his desk chair and his hat sat upon his desk lamp. The skeleton was laying face down in a plain white t-shirt and black sweatpants. Every so often Cray would let out small groans of discomfort. When he heard his bedside alarm blare a loud ring for the 5TH time today, he broke. The taller sat up quickly, frustrated as hell, taking his alarm and throwing it against the wall. The clock radio hit it leaving a small smudge in the light blue paint. It fell to the floor with a small 'clang' causing it's bottom capsule to pop open, its batteries spilling out on the wooden floor. The screen of it faded into black and a large crack appeared on the screen. Cray stared upon his now broken alarm with a blank expression. He sighed and brought his hand up to rub his eyes.

'Great job Cray...' he thought to himself, 'now you have to buy a new clock radio...' The taller fell back onto his bed in defeat, his arms and legs being spread out in a star fish position. Now you're probably wondering, what has gotten this usual cocky skeleton so down in the dumps? Well I believe you already know the answer. That's right. It's Palette. Ever since the kids had held their little plan against the two skeletons, the taller couldn't take his mind off of the situation. Palette just looked so...vulnerable being in Cray's arms. He seemed so nervous...and the taller skeleton just dropped him on the floor right after saving him from falling face down in the first place. Now Palette refuses to talk nor to even look at Cray. Whenever the taller tries to apologize, the shorter skeleton just huffs in annoyance and turn his head away. This agrivated the hell out of Cray. Palette was being such a stubborn little kid. Why couldn't he just grow up!?

(Speak for yourself Cray..)

'Stfu creator...' Cray mentally scolded the....wait...who was he just scolding....um- Nevermind that.

Cray jumped a bit hearing a tune suddenly blare in the quiet room. The taller glared, looking  over expectantly at his alarm clock. Oh wait...it was broken. Cray looked around quickly, his eyes settling on his phone which was playing a ringtone that sounded like the theme for the song 'IDFC'. Cray picked up his phone from the bedside table, pressed the green 'answer' button, and put it up to his non-existent ear. "Hello?" he asked boredly rubbing his eye sockets.

"Hi Cray!" a bright soft voice spoke on the other end. That voice was all to familiar to the skeleton and he couldn't help, but smile.

"Hi Gothy. What's up?" Cray spoke. His voice got a bit brighter when he realized Goth was on the other line.

"Oh! Nothing much! Im hanging around at the park...by myself...with no one else with me..." Goth said. He sounded like he was exaggerating his words a bit.

"Uh-huh..." Cray responded stretching his arm out a bit.

"Soooo....um...Cray knowing that...would you like to come keep me company?" The taller's smile widened. 'Goth wanted to hang out with me. This might just be my chance..." Cray thought to himself grinning.

"Sure bud! I'll come keep you company!" the taller spoke happily. He heard Goth let out a giggle from the other end.

"That's great! Well I guess I'll see ya' later then! Bye Cray!" Cray nodded in response even though Goth didn't see as the smaller skeleton hung up. The taller skeleton quickly got up from his bed. He grabbed his jacket and scarf off of the chair slipping both items of clothing on with ease. He snatched his hat from his desk lamp putting it on his head, a grin still on his face. Cray opened up his bedroom door walking down the lowly lit hallway. When he entered the living room his stomach growled with need. The taller hadn't eaten anything all day. Cray shrugged. 'Might as well...' The skeleton walked over to the kitchen and turned the lights on with a hiss. Bright! He turned the lights right back off. The windows we're bringing in enough light anyway... Cray went up to one of his cabinets opening it to search the contents from within. He reached his arm in, his fingers brushing against different boxes and containers until his hand settled on grabbing something. When he pulled it out, in his hand was a 'Do it Yourself Taco Kit'. Cray starred at the container for a moment before shrugging. 'Why the hell not'. He placed the container on the counter and walked over to the fridge grabbing a coke from it. Tacos and Coke, what a wonderful thing to have....for breakfast. Oh well. In 3 minutes of prep time, Cray's tacos were heated and ready. He munched on them with greed, all the while thinking about what moves he would make on Goth. Yeaaahh that's right. After all that's happened, the taller still wants to flirt with the hooded skeleton. Why? Idk. Cray's an idiot.

"Hey!" the taller screamed out loud. Only thing was, no one was there or maybe there wasn't anyone ever there. Cray scratched his skull. "I'm going insane..." he said to himself as he finished the rest of his taco plate chugging down his coke. He placed the plate he used in the sink to wash later and did a dunk shot to get his empty coke bottle in the trash. He made it. Yes! Kobe! Cray pulled his head tighter over his head happily as he walked out of his home, locking his front door behind him. He strode over in the direction of the park, his hands in his pockets and a small smile on his face as he daydreamed about his time with Goth. And they'd be alone too according to the smaller skeleton. Just what he needed to get his mind off of Palet- I mean a certain other skeleton. Yep. He wasn't gonna think about him either. That OTHER skeleton would just be a distraction. He didn't matter at this moment and he never will. It was just going to be the two of them. That's right. A special hang out session between Cray, Goth- *chokes on air* and PALETTE!?

Cray's POV: It was hiiiiimmmm! That same starry eyed skeleton who had that stupid little childish grin on his face and who keeps ignoring me and pretending like I'm not there and who is currently hanging out with Goth, even though it's supposed to be just the two of us! Not three, but two! Not him, but us! It's simple to follow isn't it! So why is that little fucker- Goth saw me. He waved me over with a sweet smile on his face. I took a deep breath before letting a smile creep onto my skull. It was kind of fake since I wasn't too happy about 'you know who' being here, but I was still quite happy to see the hooded skeleton whom was MUCH more important than the starry eyed one.

"Hi Goth~" I said as sweetly as I could. Palette seemed to jump out of the sound of my voice.

"What're you doing here?" he spoke venom lacing his words. I rolled my eyes. He's not very intimidating. Goth put a hand on Palette's shoulder.

"Calm down Pally. I invited him here to hang out with us." The opposing skeleton's eyes turned wide.

"What!? Gothy you promised it'd be just the two of us!" Palette whined with betrayal. So Goth told him the same thing he told me? That's very suspicious....The hooded skeleton rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"I-I did? Whoops hehe..." Palette pouted sadly making Goth frown. "I-I'm really sorry. Don't be upset Pal. Don't worry! I promise next time we'll hang out together, just the two of us ok?" Palette huffed, but stopped pouting as a mixture of green and yellow rose to his cheeks.

"F-fine..." he said begrudgingly. Goth clapped happily in response as if satisfied.

"Thanks Palette!" He  turned to me. "Also sorry about lying Cray. I just didn't think you'd come if I mentioned Palette was here." Actually yes I would. Palette could've taken this chance alone to steal Goth. I cannot let that happen. No way no how. I forced a smile.

"It's alright Goth. I could never stay mad at you~" I saw a bit of purple come onto the smaller's face. Yes he caught my flirt! Progress. I heard Palette growl as he suddenly grabbed Goth's hand. Goth jumped a bit at the contact, but once he noticed it was Palette he smiled. Oh no no no honey! Mr. Star Eyes gotta leave. I quickly pulled on the back of Pal's shirt, pulling him towards me. I placed my arm around his shoulders so he could hear me better.

"Hey Pal. How about you go get a drink for a Goth and I. I haven't had anything today and knowing Goth he probably has forgotten to get his hydration up too." I half lied looking at him. That mixture of green and yellow blush rose to his face again. That isn't from me is- Nevermind. Palette turned away from me.

"I-if it's for Goth, sure." I pushed him forward.

"Atta' boy!" I said. Palette glanced at me before walking over to the vending machines. Perfect. I grabbed Goth's arm making him squeak a bit.

"Woah Cray!" he giggled. I sat him down on the bench and I sat on the other side. He wasn't still having a bit of a giggle onslaught. "Wow Cray you sure are excited." Goth smiled. I gently grabbed his chin and tilted it up to look at me. He looked up at me, his eyes having that same spark of wonder like when we were kids. I need to confess now.

"Goth I need to tell you something." Wow. I'm not stuttering? He tilted his head with a 'hm' sound. I took a breathe. "Goth I-I..." C'mon spit it out Cray! "I....I" I love you? Isn't that what I want to say? It shouldn't be that hard.  I've been in love with him for so long. But...why does it seem like those three words aren't the right ones to say.... "I..I just wanted to say that I really hope that even after all this time our friendship still stands at the same level it always has been." Goth gave a sympathetic smile.

"Cray of course our friendship has always been the same." He went up to me and hugged me tightly. "And it will only get better from here on out. I promise." he said sighing happily. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him back. I...I don't understand. Why can't I tell him? Why is it that my thoughts have changed now? Are my feeling for him not the same? I-I...I hugged him tighter seeking more comfort. I felt like my mind was racing at 100 miles per hour. What...is going on? I feel like everything I've previously thought has been counteracted. I thought I was in love with Goth....but now....I don't know. The smaller looked at me as if he sensed my stress. "Are you alright Cray?" he asked. Our faces are so closer together, mere inches, but I don't feel the need to close the gap.

"I-" A sound of a metal clang interrupted me. Goth turned to the sound alarmed.

"What was that?" he asked looking around. I shrugged. There wasn't anyone around. The only things I could see we're a few wild animals, the vast area of cut grass, and, a few feet away, the sight of two soda can spilled onto the ground...
