EVE'S POV
I had a quick shower and dressed in my clothes from yesterday. Nathan probably thinks I'm angry but I'm not. I'm just annoyed that he finds delight in annoying me. I head to the kitchen to grab some water.

On my way, I could hear a shower running. It must be Nathan. I took my water and gulped it down. I stood near the window, enjoying the breeze.

"Are you mad at me?" I turned and saw Nathan. Hair slightly wet, pretty smirk, dreamy eyes... "Eve, I'm sorry." I was brought back to reality when Nathan spoke.

"I'm not angry, I'm annoyed." I stated and turned around, facing the window again. "I don't like being annoyed." A strong pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I turned back around, looking into Nathan's eyes.

"Please forgive me?" He pouts and chuckles. He always finds a way to mesmerize me. I couldn't ignore that awfully cute face. I had no other choice than to forgive him.

I resisted for a second and finally gave in. "Fine! I need to get back to campus though." It was a Saturday but I still had a few things to do.

"Let me get my shoes and I'll drop you off." With that, he went to his room and I waited for him to come back and we'd get going.

NATHAN'S POV
After I dropped Eve off, I drive back home and text her friend. The party is a week away from today and we haven't gotten much done.

TEXTS BETWEEN EMMA AND NATHAN
Nathan: Hi, it's Nathan.

Emma: Hi.

Good she texted back quickly.

Nathan: Hope you're good? I want us to get started on the preparations.

Emma: I am. That would be great! Just so you know, Eve doesn't like crowd so it shouldn't be too big.

That's something I'll always have to keep.

Nathan: Okay! Maybe you could take care of the invites? I wouldn't really invite anyone. I'm sure I can find a venue.

Emma: I can do that! I can't wait for everything to be settled!

I can't wait to see how happy Eve will be!

Nathan: Me too. Text me when you get anything done.

Emma: Will do!

EVE'S POV
This week has been different. After I got back from Nathan's, he seems too busy to talk and so does Emma. It was a Friday night and since no one is willing to talk to me, I might as well enjoy some alone time. Under my covers, I lay comfortably, watching tv and enjoying my snacks.

My eyes were heavy but I continued watching. I looked at my phone for the last time, at least hoping to get just one message, but again, nothing! I just loose hope and drift into sleep.

Saturday mornings are always refreshing! And as it is my birthday, it is even more refreshing! Messages started coming in to me. From my parents, siblings and a few from other relatives.

Emma didn't send me any. My best friend out of all people! I didn't know what it was, but something was suspicious. Nathan didn't as well. 'The day has only began. They might send theirs in later.' I said to myself and continued reading messages from others.
