EVE'S POV
As Emma was in the kitchen, I made a decision to text Nathan. With my phone in both hands, I quickly tapped on the keys, a good morning message.
"Good morning!"
I lay my phone on my stomach after I had hit the send button. As soon as my eyes were about to shut, my phone dinged loudly.
"Good morning beautiful! How're you?"
I smiled at his reply and texted back quickly. It feels so different when he calls me 'beautiful!'
"I'm fine. You?"
"I'm good. What's up for today?"
Our conversations seem to never die as he replies very quickly.
"I'm at my friend's at the moment. I have just two classes for today. One is at noon and the other is at two.
"That's cool. I just have to finish up paintings and that'll be it."
"Cool."
I'm so plain in everything. Cool? Girl!
"Yeah... could we hang out after?"
"Yeah sure."
I squealed lightly, shaking my hands and legs.
"I'll see you later!"
"See you!"
As my long legs were hanging on the small couch, I smiled to myself like the weirdo I am.

"What are you smiling at?" My attention shifted to the kitchen as I saw Emma standing with her hands on her hips, akimbo style.
"I'm not smiling." I quickly defended.
She walked from the kitchen and sat on the bed. "Oh please! Now tell me."
"It was Nathan." I tried my best not to smile as I said his name.
She gave me a cheeky smile. "What did he say?" She asked, all enthused.
"He just wants to hangout, that's it." I walked over to the bed and sat comfortably beside her.
She squeezed my cheeks and said, "You don't know how happy I am for you." She had this soft look on her face depicting extreme happiness.
"You're going to make me cry!" I scooted closer to her and hugged her tightly. Josh was out so we had the whole place to ourselves. We talked and laughed like the best of friends would.

NATHAN'S POV
I cleaned my apartment; something I rarely do. I wanted to bring Eve here as she's never been here before. I rearranged everything in order and took a few minutes off all the work.
After I had a quick shower and had dressed casually, I trod to my car outside and set for the road to pick her up. Before I started the car, I texted and told her I was on my way.
The city wasn't as crowded today. Roads weren't stagnant with traffic as always. I made my way smoothly to the campus and parked in the nearest empty space. I paced up the short staircase to Eve's dorm.
"A minute!" She almost screamed. I stood patiently and waited, with my hands in both pockets. She opened the door, dressed and beautiful as always.
"You look beautiful." She smiled as a light shade of red crept up her cheeks. She carefully locked her door before we made our way out of the building.
"Thank you." The walk to my car was quite quiet. I held the door ajar for her while she comfortably sat in. "Where to today?" She asked, buckling her seat belt.
"My place," She looked at me and I smiled. She muttered just a simple 'okay'. I turned up the volume of the car before I sparked it. We rode out of the parking lot, heading to my apartment.
As soon as we arrived, as the gentleman I was, I walked over to her side and opened her door and she step out. She smiled at me as we made our way into the tall block. Upon reaching my place, I opened the door and allowed her to enter. Excitement filled her as she carefully inspected my works, hung on the neutral coloured walls.
"You're really talented," She said and continued admiring them. She moved closer for a better view of them. 'Thank you' was all I could say. "They're beautiful!"
"Like how you're beautiful." She quickly shifted her attention to me and she blushed and smiled, making me chuckle.
