Chapter 141

Chapter 141

About an hour later its time to push, Alana starts and Thomas is there holding her leg, telling her to push. She does as she is told, and within no time at all, a little girl is born. She has brown little ringlet hair, just like Luke, brown and brown eyes.

Thomas just stares at her, knowing this child isn't his. For the most part, she looks like Alana, just the hair he knows is Luke's. He sees that everything else is similar to their son, so it will be not to hard to pass her off as his own.

They lay the child on Alana's chest, and she takes one look and falls instantly in love. It was a part of the man she truly loved laying there on her chest, part of him there with her always. She just smiles at the child kissing its head and holding it close.

"She is a cute little girl," Thomas says.

"Yes, she is. I can't believe she is finally here." Alana says.

Thomas sees the gleam in her eyes, how she just looks and smiles at this child. How happy she makes her. He doesn't have any hatred towards this child, he is just glad to see Alana happy.

"Would you like to hold her?" Alana asks.

"Yes, I would," Thomas responds taking the child from Alana's arms and holding it in his.

He just smiles at this tiny little girl in his arms. He hates to admit it but she is just darling. He falls in love with her himself just holding her and talking to her. He sees Alana doesn't mind at all, she lets him do whatever he likes just as she did with Tommy. He feels good about that and feels this child is his now, no matter what.

Thomas goes out into the waiting room, to tell his parents and Alana's that the child is born. They go into the room, Sr. mostly trying to get a glimpse of the tiny baby, to see what she looks like. his doubts always in the back of his mind. He knows his son wouldn't tell him the truth. He turned into a big pussy, as far as he was concerned.

Thomas sees this cute little girl in Alana's arms. He notices the hair but its not a dead giveaway to him. At the moment, he can't tell, anything different.

"Congratulations on the little girl. "Sr. says.

"Thank you, dad isn't she just lovely," Thomas replies.

"Yea she is, she looks a lot like Alana." Sr. Responds.

"That she does, its why she is pretty." Thomas answers.

"Is her name still going to be that?" Sr. asks.

"Yes, her name is Lucia." Alana answers.

Sr. just looks at his son, who doesn't flicker an eyelash from it.

"That's nice. " Sr. states giving his son a dirty look.

Thomas goes out into the hall to get a cup of coffee, they have been here most of the day and he is tired. Sr. follows wanting to put his two cents in like always.

"Dad, don't start. Its been a long day." Thomas says, before Sr. talks.

"The kid is cute, she named on the other hand isn't. She named it after her lover, and you let her. Supposedly your child is named after him. What the fuck is that?" Sr. snaps.

"Like I said before its just a name. He is long gone, we already disgust this, she has no intentions of leaving, we are working on our marriage." Thomas answers.

"Working on your marriage with the shadow of him in it, in this child, if it's his or not. If it isn't his, she wants it to be naming her that. It's disrespecting you yet again, and you let it happen." Sr. Growls.

"I am not going to fight over a name. Its the last of him. She can dream about him all she wants, he doesn't want her. She knows it, she is getting over it. I know it sucks on many levels but it happened now, and I was part of it happening. I wasn't minding the store, and he took over. I have gotten a second chance, and I am taking it. So fuck the name dad, get over it." Thomas states.

"Ok, fine. You are a better man than I am. I don't think I could have handled this like you have. I do see you are happy with her though, so fine. I promised I would shut up and I did in front of her, it was just hard when she named it that. You are so sure he isn't coming back, what happens if he does?" Sr. asks.

"I don't think she will go with him. She is hurt that he isn't around for any of this. That he just let go. She sees a lot she hasn't before which is good." Thomas says.

"He isn't here only because you got to him first. If you didn't he would be here instead of you. He felt the same way, you just got in the way, and if she ever finds that out, she isn't going to be too happy with you." Sr. Announces.

"That isn't going to happen. He is happy with his own wife, and they are getting ready to have their own child. Things worked out, the way they were supposed to. Now we get to go home with our little girl and start over." Thomas answers.

"Ok, your mother is totally in the dark and so is everyone else. You are good enough to hide it and pretend all is well. So good for you, I thought I was good at this, you are better." Sr. comments.

"I had to learn it from somewhere all these years didn't I dad?" Thomas asks.

"True, it's just sad it has to be used for this." Sr. Remarks.
