Akahana's cartoonishly serious face walked around the daihaseisai festival grounds. Mrs. Haru observed her from afar and said, "I know how you feel you're not the only one upset. Our school is losing! This is supposed to be Hamasaki-San's event! So where the hell is he? I knew I shouldn't have let my guard down on him."

"Aww don't worry about it?" Principal Kai walked up next to her. "Who can blame you for being distracted by Gunha's sudden bloody return. That boy came back so happy with a gash of blood. I wondered who could have harmed him? But that doesn't mean Hamasaki-Kun is safe when we find him he's expelled!!"

Haru just ignored his barking and started watching a high school student keeping up with other students without the use of esper abilities. It was more of an area battle event where the contestants held a staff made of plastic if knocked off the stage they would fall in the mud and be eliminated. A short wavy dark brown hair, and dark grey eyes stood firmly as one of the last contestants.

"Oh that high school student is Yuichiro Orion?" Haru asked.

"Yeah I heard his grades are that of an honor roll student but he's a level 0. Such a great student I wish I can trade for him with one of my delinquent students." Principal Kai cried out.

The look to notice his last challenge walking up, all the high school girls eyes cartoonishly turned into hearts. The boy thought he saw Tedashii from earlier walking up but he was wrong by the boy's unruly neck length reddish brown hair and reddish-brown eyes. The girls said at the same time "Akira Takahashi!!"

"Good morning darlings." Akira saids waving at the audience. Boys within the crowd rolled their eyes. "I'll try my best to please everyone!" Akira looked over at Yuichiro and asked, "Sorry for the interference. I didn't mean to disregard you. Nice to meet you my name is Akira Takahasi."

"Yuichiro Orion." Boy said reaching his hand out but Akira didn't take his hand.

Akira smirked and said, "I'm sorry to ask but can you be the villain for this match? It motivates me to win, securing justice and protecting the audience as the helpless. So how about being my stepping stone?"

Yuichiro clenched his fist and made a fake smile. "Just go along with your imagination."

"Hehe okay, don't be offended by this." The match began and they both clashed their plastic staffs as everyone could feel the intense pressure from the two. Yuichiro turns the upper lead forcing intense pressure making Akira step. He rapidly dives, strokes his plastic staff as Akira chuckles and evades the rapid pokes. "How amusing that's a lot of effort do you really think you can beat a detective?" Yuichiro right swung and Akira duck sped towards Yuichiro. When he turned Yuichiro tilted his head, Akira was behind him already swinging. However Akira stick pop back Yuichiro deflected the swung with the end handle. Akira jumps and steps back with a smile. "Hehe."

"What's so funny hero?" Yuichiro asked.

"Two percent that are one of the vigilantes during the current events prior to the daihaseisai festival." Akira confirms with a serious glare.

"Eh... what?"

"Oh to be rude and through my job into this but you see there are problematic schemes going on and justice must be served to all the culprits." Akira explains. "You understand with all these smiles we can't take that away. But we should prevent as much violence as possible. But well I'll get my answers, K know we lack info on the digital hero but.. how about this. If you stop these next few attacks you're Joker."

"What?!" Yuichiro was puzzled but was able to block off Akira's attacks. Akira was very aggressive even hitting open areas of Yuichiro. "Oh I see... that's his plan he doesn't want to lose in front of the crowd. But this guy is more skilled than the average person. So if he would lose as his skills are superior I would be no ordinary individual except that is correct. But I refuse to lose in front of Uiharu. But if I win I'll seem like a suspect of Joker... expect the truth is I am Joker and my real name is Zack Yoshikage. They must have a way to scan an AIM diffusion field. I think even the level 0 lie is not even good enough for me."

"Checkmate," Akira smiled, pushing Zack into a corner end but to Akira's surprise Zack weaved his attempt finisher.

"But surprisingly enough detective you're not invincible to the avenge individual." Zack struck at Akira dodge and stepped back.

"Ah I see... you're trying to use my own force against me. Have you done judo before? Akira asks.

"Someone taught me that trick but I don't really know the actual practice." Zack explains.

"Tch! How convenient... that's infuriating." Akira comments.

"I can say the same, it's unfair I have to face a detective. Man what a drag." Zack complains.

"Haha but I'm using my right hand, after all I'm left handed and combat isn't my thing actually. Haha one percent." Akira explains.

"Uhh why go backwards?" Zack asks.

"Because you still try to beat me. You weren't hesitant from my challenge. Why bother taking on that challenge if you know for certain you're not a vigilante."

"I have a question." Zack asks.

"Hmm?"

"Have you tried this on Everyone you've competed with?"

"... that's none of you're concerned it's classified after all. All you need to worry about is your own case."

Suddenly Akira noticed a girl with short chin-length curly black hair, with ruby colored eyes. "Umm Akira Takahasi? Umm Judgement 121?" She handed Akira a note.

"You didn't read it did you?" Akira ask cautiously.

"Uh, no! I didn't!" The curly black hair girl said shaking her head.

"That's uhh strange I thought I told chief Annaisha to stand down and watch Xiaodan-San. Akira sighs and saids, "Really? How disappointing. Okay I'm on my way." Akira hung up looking back at an offended Yuichiro. "I apologize that call was very important. I feel it's at least important to say I have no choice but to forfeit." Akira walked to the referee.

"Uhh... seriously?" The referee asked. "Ch hmm... Okay. Akira Takahasi has forfeit. The winner is Yuichiro Orion.

"Huh? What!" Some girl from the audience cried out.

The crowd got loud but immediately quieted down once Akira started speaking. "I apologize the hero is surrendering for the greater good. I really apologize though seriously, this is only due to classified information, about the warnings I've once stated. I advise all school councils to check everyone's attendance along with Tardy or absence reasons."

"So something really did happen?"

"Tell you what if you stay in district 7, I'm sure you'll be zero percent joker at this point." Akira said looking back with a smirk.

Zack wanted to ask how he at least knew the name of the joker but he was also aware asking too many questions will lead to suspicion. But he knew who he can talk to. Zack eventually approached Uiharu with a thumbs up from Zack winning the event.

"Nice work." Uiharu sighs. "You seemed disappointed, is something the matter?"

"Uiharu I think someone is hurt."

"Oh! You must have overheard Takahasi conversation... Don't worry I'm actually heading to the meeting right now."

"Is that so, look I'm not the type to give intel to judgement but I don't think Judgement is enough."

"Judgement can handle anything." Uiharu said, annoyed.

"Your methods aren't enough! I can't sit back anymore, I'm going to try something." Uiharu grabbed Zack's hand. "Uh what the?"

"I told you to stop! If you get hurt, I can't do anything!"

"What?" Zack pause and look back. "Why would you say something like that? Of course you can do something! You're the most helpful person I know in judgement."

"No I'm not." Uiharu's head went down as she turned and walked away. Zack tried to reach his hand but let go of his reach. Zack put his head down sadden.

"I see now." Zack said with a faint smile.

"Umm wait minute I could have sworn we gave your team a whole case of water." A student just afar from Zack talking to a dark skin girl with blonde hair.

"I don't mind taking your used drinks too." Jeong-Min wink at the boy who blushed.

"... indirect.... kissing?" The boy blushed and easily gave in, drinking a bottle and handing it to Jeong-Min that bowed and ran.

"Hey I like your cosplay outfit!"

"She must have worn that during the halftime show." The boy next to the student added.

"Ugh... my body feels heavy... oh right... I got lost. But I feel like someone is moving me."

"Seriously how did I get myself in this mess? Wait no I know why I'm such an idiot....

Seriously it didn't start like this."

"This is it! What you all have been waiting for! The testing of the UAV HERO V drones simulator.

"I hate espers so I planned ahead to handle them"

The advertiser noticed Tedashii wearing a vulgar outfit wearing a dark blue thin unbuttoned revealing a black v-neck under it, black jeans and brown shoes. "You there young sir care to take a turn!"

Tedashii smiled and looked at the man, "Are you sure about that?"

"Uh sure kid! Don't break it." The advertiser said with a rude grin. Tedashii only gave the man a dark ruthless smirk as he got a whole of the controller.

Tedashii observed the hardware then sigh, "You say don't break it but this piece of junk could never come par with my toys."

"What was that!" The advertiser shouts, clenching his fist.

"Oh don't worry I'll modify the results and make it worth something!" Tedashii touched the hardware and in a matter of seconds Tedashii eventually hacked every single one of them. He attacked the gathering and escaped by backflipping off the second floor with continuous aerobatic moments.

Eventually the escape Tedashii was somewhere safe with the drones that hacked followed. "Ah, I see... so the rumors are true, these drones are made for the dark side fufufu, the dark market kidnap esper students and sell them for a profit having them as slaves or place others in debt, seems like fun. But that piece of shit Masayasu Nakamura! Is funding them and blending in among the light if I can expose him then that's one step closer to harming Academy City and exacting my revenge!"

But then that's when...

"I walked around a corner and noticed a gang of delinquents gaining and sexually harassing a student though at the time I didn't know she was, but still the black market was attacking her. They rip her clothes and prepare to have a delicious meal.

"Do something? No, I'm still sure the exact rumor of these things has what I was looking for. I tried all the options and know what each one does but which one is the counter esper, non espers like us could never tell if we gather up like the useless subjects we all are."

"Oh she's saying something oh I know what's she saying haha! Aw shut up it's your fault for being so easy. Fufu pretend innocent people like you get on my nerves! You think you're some princess just because you came from Beijing China huh? Well news for you here in Japan is nothing special! As long as we're espers we can be superior here. Go ahead strip her I want to watch her be put in her place." Fumiko free her vapor space for the savages to jump in.

The hime-cut haired girl tried to wiggle out but one of their esper abilities must have held her down.

"Hahaha this is a great show! More! I can't get enough!!" Fumiko laughed as Li Mei began to shed a tear.

"Well I have." Tedashii appears before them and clenches his fist as his goggles cover his eyes, the vibe he brought to them was nothing but hatred.

For some reason I helped her, an esper. Seriously, why on earth did I do that.

"You probably should go home, you're not going to get far with your uniform." Tedashii warns the short hair hime-cut girl.

"Yeah..." The girl said putting her head down with a faint breaking smile, her eyes got watery. "Well I doubt I'll get far making it home the way I am now." She exposed her revealing front unbutton torn uniform to him.

"What the freaking hell!!? Wut no don't flip out Tedashii, calm down! Calm down! CALM DOWN!!" Tedashii's face turned red but came to his senses when she started crying.

"I don't know what to do. Every time I try to see the good in things I get trampled over, I don't like this city! And it doesn't like me! It's so easy to give up, but there's someone that wants me to grow up here." Her legs started tumbling, and she started shedding tears, she unconsciously switched to Chinese language as she was annoyed. "It's no different back at home but at least there were places I liked. But seeing that level 5, I knew I wanted to be like that but it seems I came out as a level 1 with no friends!"

"Did you have friends back home?" Tedashii asked, surprising the girl. He started talking in Chinese to make the girl feel better. It seems to work. Tedashii sighed giving her his jacket. "If you're this afraid to make a first impression back home must have been lonely. Then what's there to lose? You can't just give up over one bad day, hell two bad days doesn't even nearly comprehend a thesis. Right now you're at the bottom before and now. Nothing changes so there's no reason to blame it all on this city, just try, use a different formula and make a difference."

I ended up seeing her again but when I did she was completely different. The same girl that was a level 1 that couldn't defend herself was already a level 3 in one month. She was so much stronger and now she could defend herself just fine. Was this some sort of joke I thought I heard of some level up schemes such as the level Upper but she had no tides to them... impossible! I desired her achievements and wanted to be like her. I wanted to find the secret formula to her success... but in the end I could never figure out her secret. I envied her and then started resenting her. She was bait that became alpha. Suddenly another splash of water slap Tedashii's face having him cough and choke.

Tedashii was under a tree slump as a ant trill crossed his torso like a bridge, Jeong-Min stood above him where Tedashii had a view of her panties however seeing that doesn't compare to his reaction to her death stare.
He rose up scratching his head as the ants panicked Tedashii swipe them off of him. "So are you going to say anything?" Jeong-Min ask. "What the hell was that psycho?"

"Tch," Tedashii looked away getting up only for Jeong-Min to slam him against a tree.

"I'm not gonna play with you! I knew something wasn't right the way you fought even against those Anti-Skill punks, you showed no limits to your attacks, as if you were willing to slaughter them."

"... I'm sorry." Tedashii mumbled

"Tch," Jeong-Min studied Tedashii's face and let go of him. "Well I see you get it at least. I can't hurt you unfortunately, doing that would hurt Li Mei. Geez you really make my life yeodongsaeng." Jeong-Min turned her back on Tedashii before jumping away. "Our deal is off we're finished, don't follow me. Just go back to the events and wait for good news." Jeong-Min departs hopping away into some trees in the woods.

Tedashii sat there depressed and hopeless for an hour looking at his electronic metal glove that battery showed red twenty percent. But suddenly he looked up to see a drone flying above him. He's eyes widened and said, "Is that? It's here!" The drove revealed to be holding an invisible package a huge one at that and dropped at Tedashii who panicked and dodging. "Ughh... Damn I need to work on those drones again." Tedashii opened it as he smile looking at an red retro motorbike. "Damn I missed you sweetly. He sat on the motorbike and Booming at high speeds.

Mara took some deep breaths, she clenched her fist. But she suddenly heard someone catch up to her and she swung her baseball bat. It was Kenichi who caught the swung bat's end with his good hand.

"There you are!" Kenichi shouts. Mara pulled the bat away. And Kenichi suddenly hugged her. "I was worried, I thought you'd disappear."

Mara pushed Kenichi off and looked away, "I'm fine."

"Thank goodness what a relief." Masato said, approaching the two with Yosuke.

"What are you doing here?" Mara asks puzzled.

"I was concerned for all your safety that was all." Masato confirms scratching his head.

"Well alright then beat it!" Kenichi saids crossings are arms.

"Mara I know you wanted to make sure these two don't know but it seems we have no choice I believe we still need there help for the final plan." Masato saids puzzling Kenichi and Yosuke.

"What!? Kenichi shouts and look back at Mara who rolled her eyes.

"The last step is easy we don't need them anymore!" Mara said annoyed. "We got Xiaodan so who cares now!"

"What?!" Kenichi screams out. "WHAT THE EFFING HELL IS GOING ON?!!!"

"Fine! Whatever I'll tell them." Mara look at the two, "Where creating a hero."

"A hero?" Yosuke asked puzzled.

"You two don't really think we can save a bunch of kids and this city, everything we've done until now has been nothing but a skill-out fight. We could never take on the chairman and board of dictators of Academy City. The illegal jobs we took part in can only get us this far. But then a former teacher of my school Masato Jun'ichi has made a call. I couldn't believe it was really him and met him in person. And he's going to change the world for everyone by creating the real protagonist!"

"Well I wouldn't say this project character is that of heroic but I do like such idea as an hero." Masato explains. "This hero is that of someone that will change the tragedies that came to past, "So many long children turned into human weapons that's why this hero made from the power of troubling hurt espers come together with the power of these materials will be the light this city needs."

"Materials? Yosuke questioned.

"That's right there's a Nonexistent Metal rumored metal which doesn't exist naturally in the world, rumor has it that when hundreds of esper abilities clash. The metal is created which doesn't naturally exist. Shadow metal. Since child errors where never considered Talent espers that is why you where all task on collecting those type of gifted espers to take part in my experiments. That normally was it for basically your roles in this job."

"But couldn't you have done this in a non violent matter with the daihaseisai festival! Wouldn't have been easier?" Yosuke asked.

"That could have been a solution but well that was impossible as the chairman of Academy was probably aware of these results and information was leak about such a theory creating a urban legend. Not only that wouldn't you think that the daihaseisai festival played a key role in obtaining and collecting shadow metal. Not only that wouldn't have been a safe option, but would be present as impossible as the chairman could easily collect whatever shadow metal is created."

"So you had us kidnapped espers to bring for you to make such espers fight each other?" Kenichi shouts.

"It's not kidnapped idiot where just letting them spend a little time experiencing." Mara defends. "When I was there and seen what was going on, the espers there where doing just fine, and taken health care of so that the experiments could reach its full potential."

"You really believe that?!" Kenichi argues. "Then if you effing have as much espers you need before the daihaseisai festival, then why in the effing hell did we have to fight that aura hurricane or whatever you all effing call her."

"Well having the material is one thing but a energy source that could sustain the hero, or more an energy source. One of the level 5 candidates where a perfect option with so much potential but not too much I can create the hero that can defeat the board of directors!" Masato explains.

"Then what's this last task Mara has to do?" Yosuke asked.

"Well I just want you all to protect Mara till the very end. Her role is the key to the hero, Mara already excepted the final thing I needed and that's the databank to all the espers that took part in the daihaseisai festival."

"All I have to do is upload this virus chip onto a law security. Only the best hacker in the universe can stop somewhat with this much firewall protect hell inside." Mara explains holding it up to show Kenichi.

"The being will keep getting stronger and stronger until it finds and take down all the board of directors of academy city. Then a new order could be made." Masato explains.

"That's enough!" Kenichi interrupts, "You two sound like a psychos!" Kenichi look at Mara and scream, "What the effing hell happened to you?"

"Kenichi!" Yosuke starred at Kenichi and look back at Mara. Yosuke thought to himself, "Something is definitely strange here Mara's personally has been somewhat drastically change when we met...

"Tsurigane aid us in our battle with Aura Storm... she noticed something not right about Mara. Did that certain someone brainwashed Mara... no because if that person did than wouldn't me and Kenichi also be brainwash? If that individual wanted absolute power and we all know for certain that person would be able to control us if they really wanted to. If I remember now that technique was some sort of self-discrepancy theory... compare our "actual" self to internalized standards or the "ideal/ought self we had all the free imagination to reconstruct self. What we where giving was just thought of our own cognitive self that we needed to be. To be more in question what did that one do? And what did that one provide for us because in other words there was evidence despite that we started to win. The victory was with the same tools we used before taking form of that idea self. Maybe we just thought we got stronger and those false beliefs came true. So my conclusion is that person didn't brainwash us, we just simply brainwash ourselves.... Mara."

"Mara stopped this!" Yosuke threats. But Kenichi place his hand in front of Yosuke.

"TARDY don't turn on each other even if our own are wrong." Kenichi states looking at Yosuke. Yosuke back down and looked away.

"Mara you can't do this please!" Kenichi said begging Mara.

From above nearby tree Jeong-Min listens in, "I see those two don't want to strive this far but they won't abandon Mara and end the end they'll still be my enemies. It's not a good idea to reveal myself but I can't let Mara do this!" Jeong-Min threw a shuriken at Mara's hand to make her lose her grip on the key. Jeong-Min took advantage of this surprise attack sliding in from a ware and kicking Mara. When landed Kenichi was already behind her and swings his counter 7 weapon at Jeong-Min that prepared back leap like a gymnastics. Jeong-Min had a smoke bomb in her hand but sudden chains latch onto her breaking her balance, trapping her in Yosuke's grip.

Mara recovers picking up the key, quickly projecting it in her pocket pouch and slaps Jeong-Min.

"You couldn't just stay down huh?! Bwahahahahaha you idiot! Coming alone this time?" Mara laughs in Jeong-Min's face.

Jeong-Min spilt on Mara and said, "I have nothing to say-" Jeong-Min is immediately slapped and punch in the gut back Mara once more.

"Don't you dare talk to an hero like that!" Mara screams.

"It's time. If things it a little to intense you can return back at the lab which is north from here." Masato assist.

The group suddenly heard the sound of a motor, as they titled to the sound, Tedashii was already passed them. Tedashii drift sliding to reach the chains under Yosuke feet pulling and freeing Jeong-Min. Jeong-Min took the time to escape when she land Tedashii rode and drift to slide and park next to her.

"You okay?" Tedashii asked.

"I thought I told you to go home and wait for good news?" Jeong-Min asked annoyed at Tedashii's presents.

"Fufu, whatever you where going to die without me." Tedashii said sarcastically joking.

"Hamasaki-Kun, I see now it all has changed since what happened." Mara chuckles. Kenichi walk next to Mara as they where slide by slide with Yosuke behind them. "You know I don't find you attractive anymore." Mara admits while being annoyed. "I guess you're just a chinpoko after all just like Jeong-Min said." Tedashii remains silent as he didn't let that faze him. "I thought outta all people you had a grudge to settle with Xiaodan-San?"

"I don't feel the hatred you have for Li Mei, and I don't plan to harm others anymore just because I can't get what I want! I'm helping someone whether I know them or not so I can stop being so damn worthless already!" Tedashii crank up his handle off of park to drive and speed at Kenichi whose counter 7 weapon reacted allowing him to strike back with a powerful repel of kinetic. Tedashii still had his bike pushed back but performed a backflip spin to safety land. The collect vectors from this spark up his bike.

"Hatred? Oh no what this is no longer hatred but free to my chains of captivity! Free from this wretch society! I'm a protagonist now finally protect!"

"Mara..." Jeong-Min called on her name with a sign of pity.

"Oh boohoo!! I'm a level 0! So what! So am I! I get your pain but to hurt the only ones that cared about you is not what a protagonist is like! A protagonist is someone that do anything to protect that smile, the ones that means precious to them can be safe, laugh, never cry, and never need to worry about bothering for help! If Li Mei has to be sacrificed for your heroic ways you can just go to hell!!"

"Chinpoko." Jeong-Min said smiling.

"Is that so? I'll allow your efforts." Masato said while walking to his lab.

"Damn what is up with this guy? Who is this idiot?" Kenichi asked dumbfounded.

"Wait you seriously don't know know who this guy is?" Mara asked surprise at Kenichi's puzzled stare.

"Uhh... oh god damn it! That's the guy that overheard our plans when I spoke to you in the bathroom! Aww damn it I knew my excuse wasn't good enough."

"Idoit..." Mara sighs. "That's not what I was referring to."

"It's over." Tedashii answers. The three puzzled at Tedashii serious claim.

Kenichi begins to chuckle to Tedashii's random empty claim, "That's rich! With a motorcycle? If you didn't notice already I hit you one time and it looks like that cool ride about to self-destruct. Anyways that was a effing nice speech and all dude way nicer than the G mecha guy from earlier. But what can you possibly do with that motorcycle? We can just simply move out the way?"

"Do you really think I've planned to defeat the Railgun with a motorcycle? Now that's what's rich!" Tedashii replied with the same mockery tone. Tedashii flip from off his motor airborne into the air. The motorcycle began to hover and disassemble into a magnate field orbing around Tedashii's body. Everyone stare shook as the machinery parts swiftly attaching itself into that of an barrel gun. The wheels line up against each other acting as an electric conductor. A unexplainable weapon held tightly in Tedashii's hands, a weapon targeting Li Mei's attackers.

"What the effing hell?!" Kenichi stunned by the electric charges before him.

"It's not a motorcycle, It's a Coilgun!!" Tedashii immediately fires a devastating Super Electromagnetic Cannon. Kenichi, Mara, stood before Tedashii who had them in his hand.

"A... Coilgun?" Mara stood there shook.

"Damn that was close! This guy must have bad aim." Kenichi said not impressed.

"Idiot!" Mara shouts at Kenichi who was surprised by her outburst.

The two immediately evade Tedashii's second shot. But they couldn't predict. "Gwah!!" Tedashii's aim which was proven when Yosuke was shot in the shoulder hitting the wall. Yosuke instantly passes out unconscious.

"Damn you!" Kenichi screams at. "Yosuke was at his limit!"

"Kenichi no!" Mara warns but it was no use Kenichi charge with blood thrust. "A Coilgun! There was some controversy and debates about the Railgun vs Coilgun theory on which was better. Kenichi punch Tedashii so hard that he blood escape out his nose. Tedashii was in shock, "This guy hit harder than him..." Tedashii nearly passed out by one punch but gritted his teeth, and clenched his fist. "Even after all that you can still deliver something as powerful as him. Impressive!! But..." Tedashii punch Kenichi back with all his weight behind it. "The meaning behind it isn't enough to put me down."

Kenichi smile and step back and said, "Ha you hit like a bitch." Kenichi drops to the ground by all his own wounds. Tedashii dash onward to Masato. "I knew something wasn't right! And now I'll figure out why Jun'ichi-Sensei!!"
