"Finally..." The young level 0 fourteen year-old cried out slump upon the ground. A tear shed from his eye, as the rank seventh level 5 esper saids the speech repeatedly without the paper in his hands.

"Well I think that's about right? Sogitta quotes placing his hands around his waist flexing like a superhero in a comic.

"Geez there's way too much of the word bond in there." Tedashii notes while scratching his head.

"No kidding, though it's understandable after all that's what true guts is after all."

"You know guts is like your stomach intestines, or are you referring to a reference to the feeling or reaction based on an instinctive emotional response rather than considered thought. You should at least consider some idea of common sense or are you just playing with my emotions because you're a level 5 pretending to be cool and nice."

"Huh?" Sogiita saids tilting his head by Tedashii's comment.

Tedashii's eye twitched, scratching his head a bit quicker. "Aww, come on! You don't have to pull that iconic act anymore! No one was around, we stayed after a bit longer. The approximate amount of students and staff left should be about ten to five percent. And no one would believe me outta all people of whatever negativity I have to say about you-"

A sudden growling stomach roared among Sogiita as he began to rub his belly. Sogitta interrupted and said, "Hey let's take a break."

"Uhh, well we should actually be done here." Tedashii saids getting up and walking over to his baggage lifting up against his back shoulder. "I'll save you the trouble and dismiss the rest."

"Alrighty then! Let's go eat!"

"Let's as in contraction of "let us?"

"Yeah us! I'm sure ya hungry too! We gotta refill our guts!"

"... Refill our guts?"

"Chow time, what's with that look? Oh I see you have no money."

"I got plenty of money!" Tedashii quickly snaps with a red face.

"Then why be so scared, let's go!"

"Uhh..." Tedashii paused, then sigh, he scratches his head once more and saids, "You know you're weird..."

"Hmm?"

"Sorry I got something very important I need to do, not to mention my supplementary
classes." Tedashii waves walking away with a smirk.

"Well alrighty then let's eat together during the Daiheaseisal then!" Sogiita waves back with a chuckle. Tedashii cheeks spout red with flattery, but quickly snap to his senses and switch to a poker face.

"Yeah whatever." Tedashii shouts leaving the stadium, following his selective schedule.

Time flies by quickly as he sighs, walking past the nature park he thought to himself as he stares at the empty swing, then smirk once more. Turning his way towards his destination he felt something slightly pulling his shirt, turning around a familiar face appear with a smile. Though he felt like he had seen her before he didn't recognize her charming foreign appealing blonde hair with reddish dye side swept bangs, blue eyes, white skin, wearing a school uniform similar to his but with an initial bold sport number "44".

"Hi... I mean." The girl said in English but then said, "Hi!" In Japanese. She bowed and said, "Thank you."

Tedashii blushes after witnessing the girl's breast jiggling up and down for a split second, once she lifts herself from her bow. Her peering and studied face rapidly jump Tedashii's thoughts back to his senses. However he stood there with a blank stare, then said "Oh yeah... your welcome."

The girl with the same school uniform as him eyes lowered with disappointment and said, "OMG You don't remember me do you?"

"omg?... Umm.. oh! I do-"

"We met, well we didn't truly talk, so no need to lie... oh that's very rude of me sorrily!" The girl bowed once more.

Tedashii paused and waited for some sort of introduction but she said nothing else. She looked up and smiled and saids, "Are you waiting for something?"

"Yes! Name please!"

"Oh, you care?" She notes with a smile and wink. I dunno do you really want my name?" The girl said in English.

"Yes and stop it!" Tedashii nods back in English surprising even her. Tedashii's peers glare hinting at his annoyance. She blush then smiles.

"Oh my, I found a interesting one." From that comment things quickly escalated from there on in Jonagarden family restaurant.

"Oh! I see, so you're the girl that got attacked by those punks the other day ago." Tedashii confirms resting his chin on his hand as his arm held him up while sitting. "Once I look carefully you have the same uniform huh? For such a big city it feels so small at times to come across the same faces."

"Is that so? I'll have to disagree with that. Academy City is sooooo big! I get lost like Sūpā easily!!"

Tedashii stare at her features once more than sigh, "Another foreigner..."

"Obliviously isn't it, Yup I came across seas from America a few months ago. The name Mara Grace, it's a pleasure to meet you!" Mara saids quickly bowling. "I'm very lucky to find you again after helping me get away from those scary guys.

"Yeah you got the wrong guy." Tedashii saids waiver his hand like a fan.

"Huh?"

"The guy you should be locating and thanking is another student that goes to our school. He's our beloved level 5 school's esper or whatever the school calls him. The one standing above that roof, skyrocketing and saving the day."

"Of course!" The girl said almost rising up from her chair, he was super cool and all. What was his special attack call again? Ultra save the girl... righteousness punch! Right?"

"... Please don't repeat that. His name is Sogitta Gunha, and yeah he was the real hero not someone that's weak like me."

"Mara!" A chinese girl with mini peony flowers, shoulder length black hair, light sea green eyes wearing a school uniform with a black skirt with white stockings shouts out the girl's name approaching the two.

"Li Mei...Chan how's it going... you..." Mara says, stuttering with a smile.

"Still trying to get used to your Japanese I see, com on it's been like two months now I think! You should know how to speak Japanese by now."

"Seriously? You're gonna make fun of me when you still have trouble with directions. But then again I guess I can be somewhat impressed today to see you along after all." Mara notes looking around behind Li Mei.

"I came here along! After all, I got this cell phone thingy with me this time!" Li Mei said, flashing her cell phone that displayed a GPS app.

"Li Mei finally gave smartphones a chance, I thought I'll never see the day." Mara said with her eyes brightened up.

"Tch! Whatever!! ... Anyways," Li Mei's face turned red and her fingers started fidgeting together, "didn't you and Jeong... say that... all I had to do was give my number... and the other person supposed to... call back?"

"Or text why? Did you already give your number to a boy?"

"Tch! Now that you mentioned it you should keep up with it so I and your friends don't have to walk you around everywhere." Tedashii says, turning his chair aside to stare directly at Li Mei.

She looked down dumbfounded just realizing Tedashii's presents. "Tedashii?!" Li Mei jump back fluster as if she saw an spider. She scan his clean arm from where she wrote her number on and slumped down from complete defeat after realizing he already wash it since yesterday.

"Eh seriously? Never mind maybe I could have considered that a break for once from you seeing me... but now though you see me." Tedashii's comment suddenly sparked her up but suddenly cut her self off from Mara's study stare.

"OMG you two know each other? That's definitely a consequence since I've been saved by both of you at different times! Are all the superheroes hanging out with one another?"

"Nope just a consequence we're not even friends!" Li Mei said shrugging her shoulders.

"...Oh." Tedashii thought back on his rude comment back at the shopping center feeling guilty.

"Anyways what are you doing with Mara-Chan!? You better not be up to no good Tedashiiii!"

"Easy we just met!!" Tedashii cried out awaiting for a spark of rainbow blows. But to his surprise opening his eyes to see no radiant light, or heat."

Li Mei made a sudden concerned look of despair look. "You know I've heard some real nasty rumors of UFO's kidnapping Espers so it's smart of you to stick together. Sorry for being so intriguing, I'll be on my way..."

"Hey... have a seat Li Mei-Mei-Chan!" Mara quickly requests bowing her head once more.  "We weren't on a date or anything I was just thanking him for yesterday."

Tedashii scratches his head, feeling guilty, "Please, have a seat."

"Oh... even you?" Li Mei's eyes widened but nodded and took a seat with the two. "Tedashii helped you yesterday?"

"Yeah I got attack by a group of espers the other day and he came and help... though things kinda turned for the worst for both of us and well the rest of the story was the story that he filled out."

"I see... dang, you too..." Li Mei said holding her glass of water tightly.

Tedashii noticed that familiar faint frown she gave since yesterday. Before he could ask, Mara continued on and saids in english, "Damn espers they think they can do whatever they want." Tedashii stared at her once more and felt and related to her comment with a faint frown.

"Hmm?" Li Mei tilts her head fluster while scratching her cheek, "You said something?"

Mara quickly reverted to Li Mei's response then smiled and said in Japanese, "Sorry I've been worried about the rumors that sparked on recently, there's been quite some intriguing things going on right around the Daihaseisai preparations."

"You're talking about the rumors," Tedashii commented, waving his hand. "Don't worry about that mum-bo-Jumbo Hisoka just goes around making crap up anyways. I'm pretty sure aliens aren't real."

"Don't underestimate Academy City there's never a dull moment!" Mara assisted frantically shaking her head.

"There are aren't they? That's why when I become a judgement member I'll do something about that. Just like the guy who can copy other esper abilities!"

"Copy other esper abilities?" Tedashii says, completely puzzled.

"Oh yeah not too long ago it's been rumor someone is out there copying other people's esper abilities, or more like probably stealing esper powers from people who do bad things." Mara explained while Li Mei nodded eagerly, "It's not the first time this rumor from Auribus Oculi Fideliores Sunt was heard of. It is said the guy who steals other esper powers only appears when the time comes at the bricking depths of darkness."

"Isn't that exciting?!! If this so-called esper thief appears that means the moment will finally arrive!" Li Mei pounced up excitedly fist bumped into the air.

"Why the hell are the depths of hell exciting to you?" Tedashii said scratching his head annoyed.

"Li Mei no one met this so-called thief! This rumor has never been true!" Mara agreed nodding while shrugging her shoulders.

"I know it's true there can't really be nothing too bizarre about someone copying other esper abilities." Li Mei protested as her body seemed like she was doing some power up of energy.

"So much for the digital hero." Mara comments wavering away.

"Who cares! The digital hero is boring Anyways!"

"Tch! So what did you mean this so-called thief?" Tedashii asks, looking over at Li Mei annoyed.

"Well umm... no..."

"Well I'm not gonna believe some ridiculous rumors." Tedashii nods while looking away.

"Are you serious?! Why not? This is a city full of superpower people just like me." Li Mei says, stomping her foot while grinning at Tedashii.

"First of all! There's no way an esper can copy others or steal other esper abilities." Tedashii glared back, waving away his hand at her.

"Don't tell me you're one of those super anti superstitious kinda people." Mara notes, peering at an annoyed Tedashii.

"Fine!" Tedashii crosses his arms and leg then nods with his eyes closed, "Theoretically speaking, what if I abide to this idea, that so called user would have to continuously trace someone's else personal reality, trading off oneself. Do you understand where I'm going with this? He would have to become an entirely different person trading away his whole self to at least natural that said abilities. In case that's impossible considering that person would also have to construct his or her's own theories not to mention what would possibly happen to their bodies from their AMI diffusion fields."

"Okay?" Mara shrugs then nods, "It seems you have provenly exemplified it well."

"Yeah!" Li Mei nodded alongside Mara.

"Look, the power curriculum program doesn't work like that! A personal reality is personal, it doesn't theoretically work like that." Tedashii says, waving his hand with his eyes shut.

Mara continues on with a bold stare and notifies, "Then why do some have abilities that are completely the same as another? Electromaster is a common esper ability alongside telekinesis, precognition, clairvoyance, telepathy, psychometry while there's rare abilities such as teleporters which are currently known to have about fifty-eight with nineteen capable of teleporting."

"Fufu, now this conversation has gotten interesting." Tedashii saids opening his eyes with a more relentless appeal, "Come now you seem way too interested in the vast info of a esper like an level "0" outsider or am I just over exaggerating... How far are your beliefs in this individual? Or maybe at a time like this UFO's might be real after all?" Mara pauses in turn a little shook by Tedashii's comment, but then he wavers once more then saids, "Very well I'll continue to indulge in your statement. However my theory in the end still exceeds yours due to your lack of detail."

Mara closed her hands in together with one eyebrow rising up, "Oh, is that right?"

"You said it yourself there's about fifty-eight teleport espers and nineteen capable to teleport, why is that? It's simple really, because formulas to their thesis or unidentifiable differ but profitable results are similar to similar or are they. Why is that one teleporter limits are different from another? Why is that a teleport ability has a different name from another? One can teleport from touch while the other teleports from pointing at and calculating the attitude, I'm talking about a teleporter and move point just some espers I conqunice studied not too long ago. Well that's because their brains and logic came up with said results on their own personally. No esper ability in my books are the same just similar no brain thinks the same. All espers play by the books of quantum mechanics in the end it takes intellectually intelligence and imagination in the end. No esper ability is the same, so speaking a esper who copies other abilities without a doubt will fail even if he or she copies the formula by the books. The results will end up flaw from the original... no matter how perfect they secured it... after all the best they ever could pull was a nitrogen shield... I mean in the end! A copycat will be limited to the rules of that formula and will never actually improve since it takes hypothetical originally to progress!"

"Science, scientific, sci stuffs, boring!!" Li Mei shouts, yawning loudly.

"And some just get abilities because bullshit gods say so!" Tedashii shouts back at her. "In turn a disgrace to science! Seriously how the hell did you reach level four after the power curriculum program?"

"How should I know? I don't really get this power curriculum program, or why everyone else needs it, I mean I was born with my powers."

"Well at least you joke about it knowing your power increased is bull shit."

"I'm not joking, I already had an insight of what I was doing before I came to Academy City."

"Okay the joke isn't funny anymore."

"I'm serious Tedashii. I didn't need some power program or whatever." Tedashii and Mara pause and stare at Li Mei as if she was joking which only annoyed her more. "Why are guys staring at me like that geez.

"Actually that's very interesting..." Mara said with a smirk.

Tedashii looked back at the two then his eyes lower at them as if he was talking to two imbeciles, "Yeah I think imma head out for the day." Tedashii nods rising up from his chair annoyed. "I'm tired of this chat now it's becoming irrelevant."

"How is it irrelevant?" Li Mei puzzlement only reflected towards his bitter eyes.

"Just saying..." Tedashii mumbles while scratching his head, "First everyone calls you Beijing's golden child now you're saying you're too good for the Power Curriculum Program, yeah I think I had enough."

Li Mei studies Tedashii's face more annoyed as ever and saids, "You should really stop throwing out that golden child crap and I really am being for real." Li Mei announces while clenching her hands.

"Yeah it's not cute to be jelly and all." Mara notes with a smirk.

Tedashii's face angrily turned red as the hot head he is. "I'm not jealous!" Tedashii stomps while staring away from the two girls. His childish reaction tickles Li Mei's spine as her chuckle grows into laughter.

"Nyahaha! You are so jelly Tedashiiiii!! You should look at your face! You look like such a hater! Nyahahaha!!" Li Mei cried out laughing, stomping, holding her stomach with her eyes shut tearfully laughing.

"Shut up!! Shut up!! Shut up!! It's a complete shocker someone like you who doesn't think at all has an esper ability!"

"What was that!" Li Mei said beaming up cartoonishly with a death stare that started him as her aura appears glowing red.

"I said I have to go to the bathroom..." Tedashii cries out, getting up from the table and walking away.

"You better not be running away or I'll kill you!" Li Mei scowls as Tedashii escapes to the bathroom.

Tedashii enters the bathroom almost tripping on some wrap up stick. He quickly steps back then stares at himself in the mirror mumbling to himself. "Geez what's wrong with me? This isn't me and that was a close one. Damn I knew it was a bad idea to let her sit with us... now I'm all shaky again, I guess I haven't overcome being around strong espers... but still. Yeah I'll just wait and check when the coast is clear..."

"I see... so you think you found a strategist for our operation?" A voice from the bathroom booth behind Tedashii said, "Are you shitting me instead of ensuring technical advances? I need someone to modify this thing so I can choose the damn options.... we need a rare target..." Tedashii eyes widened but decided to listen instead, it wasn't his business and he had nothing to do with this situation but his legs refused to leave the scene and a thought of Akahana ran down his mind. "We already got our damn technical advances already. We need a target one that will catch this city's attention by storm! As long as the rumors continue and the 6th rank level 5''... what yeah I'm in the bathroom no ones... hang on for a sec." The toilet flushes, and the door opens. Tedashii has no time to escape somewhere so instead quickly turns on the faucet sink and begins washing his hands.

A fire designed bandanna hoodie delinquent with slapping jeans and trace shoes came out of the booth and looked at the window to Tedashii's disgust. He didn't bother to look at the sink to wash his hands. The man looked back at Tedashii then quickly caught on. Tedashii's eyes widened; "Was I too suspicious? Did he notice I was listening in on that chat somewhat? Tedashii's thoughts cried out.

But his questions were answered when this goon said, "Uhh... don't look at me like that, I was in a hurry. I don't go around taking shits and not washing my hands afterwards. The bandanna thug got annoyed due to lack of response.

A sudden glare from the boy's stare in turn began to take suspicion. Tedashii quickly saids, "I wasn't aware you were doing such a thing in the restroom."

"What thing?"

"... Defecation." Tedashii's answer burns up the thug's face in embarrassment.

"Tch just forget about it!" He cried out finishing up. His eyes widened when he saw the loose wrapped up stick somewhat revealing some tech. He quickly snatched it up laying up against his shoulder. Tedashii's eyes widened from the loose wrapping that revealed a familiar emblem with the two letters "CV" behind.

The thug with the bandanna turned around and said, "Don't go around talking about this... incident, alright! Hmm?" The thug looked at Tedashii's daring stare and then back at his weapon he brought inside a public bathroom. "Oh shit, well not shit but don't worry your shit hole, well no one's shit hole. Just forget about that, I'm not some terrorist or anything see, I have a school ID." The thug flickers it fast enough for Tedashii not to get a glimpse, "I don't cause any trouble... I'm just some level "0", and this is just a school project.

"I see..." Tedashii replied reforming a poker face. The thug quickly paced himself out the bathroom. "Well... shit." Tedashii said to himself with a shadow glare. He carefully left the bathroom and scooped the scene of the thug but he was nowhere to be found. Unfortunately his steps led him back to his table where Li Mei alone was still waiting but no Mara.

"Hey where's Mara!?" Tedashii asks curiously, cautiously scooping the environment around him.

"Uhh, she said she had to go not too long ago..." Li Mei said blushing.

"What!?"

"Yeah."

"I think we should find her-"

"Here's the tab sir!" A waitress that suddenly appeared aside from the two said placing it on the table with a smile.

"Huh!?" Tedashii's focus was soon interrupted by the payment that Mara promised she would pay. "...Wait a minute she said she was gonna pay?!"

"Oh she did?" Li Mei looked up at Tedashii and said, "You know the vibe of her aura was quite suspicious, I guess that explains it."

Tedashii's eye twitched and there was only one thing he could possibly say, "That... little bitch she totally just robbed me at a time like this! Really?"

"Umm... Tedashii are you leaving?" Li Mei asks with a teary eye.

"Yeah why...Seriously?" Tedashii made a glare at the teary eye who was holding a dead phone in her hand.

Outside Jonagarden family restaurant a district away the bandanna thug quickly pace forward until he is met up with Mara.

"Let me guess you was out doing something stupid again Kenichi?" Mara said with a baseball bat in her hand.

"Tch, and what were you doing huh!?"

"Quiet you big dummy, I've gots two ideas, but I'll just bring up the interesting one, our next target is a classmate of mine."
