Tedashii made his way to school and could hear the gossiping around the students once more. Due to staying up so late, he yawns skipping passed his peers and their bickering.

Towards the front of the doors a girl wearing plenty of mini China decorations with peony flowers around her wrists, headband, stood there waiting on him. She had her eyebrows lower, pressing her lips together firmly, and bulged light sea eyes locked onto him.

Tedashii stopped and stared at the glowing rainbow girl then turned back around. The rainbow light disappears and reappears every time Tedashii approaches and retreats. He slumped his head down then yawned annoyingly.

"Can you give it a rest rainbow head?!" Tedashii's pled only backfire as a red laser light almost burnt the top of his head off after he ducked.

"You got some nerve! After you abandoned me I was left embarrassed in front of those judgement members!" She cried out stomping and whimpering like a child.

"Something happened okay! It wasn't truly attended!"

"Like what!?" Li-Mei's demand left Tedashii sighing, giving in while scratching his head, "Okay, look I was attacked by some Espers."

"What?" Li Mei pauses as her AIM shuts down her Esper ability once more.

"Yeah, no big deal that always happens to us level zeros."

Li Mei studies Tedashii's unconfident glimpsing away glaze. Tedashii tilted his eyes back at Li Mei then yawned once more.

"I see." Li Mei replied with a soft change tone, she clenched her hands, making a fluster stare, "You got hurt, while I was in that try out room just like that."

"I mean it's not a big deal."

"We just got to get stronger next time." She said, walking over to Tedashii pulling a black marker sharply from out her pocket. She carefully grabbed his arm, and started writing on his wrist."

"Hey what are you doing!" Tedashii watched Li Mei write her name and phone number which made Tedashii blush once he realized the lines between the numbers. "Is this a judgement number or something for your branch? I could have simply just looked that up online." Tedashii said while scratching the back of his head.

"Uh, no. It's my number, I just realized I've never given you my number. Please call me."

"Huh?!" Tedashii almost blasted out but quickly stopped himself from throwing out attention outside. His face turns red, closing his eyes annoyingly piercing at the girl, "You know I can fight too you know just because I don't have an Esper ability..."

"I'm tired," Li Mei commented with shallow eyes and head lower, Tedashii could notice a hollow glimpse in her eyes. "I'm tired of watching and not being strong..."

"Li Mei?" Before Tedashii could grab touch her shoulders the bell rang and the students started entering the school. A few students who notice the two comments but return back to rumor news that sparkle around the school.

"Oh whoops that was weird! Nyahaha! Just get stronger and I won't have to go saving you!" Li Mei turned the other way and started walking away from Tedashii heading to her class.

Tedashii shrugs then proceeds to follow up with all the other students eventually making his way to Mrs. Haru's classroom.

Within the classroom Mrs. Haru starts collecting homework papers from the worn out students, Tedashii goes through his bag and as he pulls out a small torn up piece of paper with only one answer done. It was at that moment he realized when Li Mei accidentally struck his bag under the tree yesterday his homework that he already finished in class was burnt and destroyed from within.

"Tch serious!?" Tedashii pierce at the leftover inside the bag.

"Seriously indeed." Mrs. Haru said, reaching her hand out.

"Yeah it's been burnt up by an Esper."

"Yeah no surprise there," His teacher said sarcastically, "I'm assuming you think a test will jump your grades up typical." Tedashii shrugs at his teacher's comment in turn resulting in a glare from her.

As she walks away, Hisoka leans by whispering to Tedashii, "Bruh, are you even trying not to get expelled?"

Tedashii looked back at Hisoka with his own glare, "And what's it to you? It's obviously your fault why I'm in this mess. I'm not stupid I'm supposing you told everybody about my attempted dropout."

"Yeah, kinda bruh..." Hisoka says, admitting and nodding leaving Tedashii gripping his desk and gritting his teeth.

"Though look on the bright side, no one's talking about you anymore." A boy with checker black-white pants on, next to Hisoka and a guy with dark green hair noted behind Tedashii jumping in on the conversation. "The rumors going on lately or mainly focused around the digital hero."

"Digital hero?" Tedashii eyebrows swift upward to the boys who were nodding while pulling out their cellphones.

"You see there's this new urban legend that we and lord Hisoka-Kami discovered! Last night some flying man in a suit of armor with green laser hologram wings was flying really fast last night! The rumor is that a superhero was born!" The boy with checker pants said waving his arms out posing and flexing imitating fiction superheroes."

Tedashii paused and thought about how careless his test run last night was. "Are they... no they can't be talking about me?" Tedashii thought to himself.

"You good bruh? Did ya see em!" Hisoka said with a blushing glittery face expression while blinking with long eyelashes.

"Eh... no. Just sounds cool that's all, I guess." Tedashii mumbles, scratching his head while flustering and blushing.

"Hohohoho bruh!" Hisoka chuckles placing arms on the waist. "I think we got em."

"Don't get ahead of yourself, I was too busy to care about some guy in a suit of armor, especially after the trouble you three put me through."

"Don't be like that bruh, I think I have a way out for ya bruh, only if you join the Urban Hunters of course."

"Urban Hunters, what you got a cult now?"

"It's not a cult bruh, it's a culture! And if ya join you'll have the chance to take part in our next hunt shadow metal!"

"Shadow Metal?"

"Yup! There's an urban legend about metal which doesn't exist naturally in this world?" The student with dark green hair said while the other two nods in sync. "I think?" Hisoka and the guy with the checker pants heads slump down.

"Chmm!" Hisoka takes over with a cough, "Yes Shadow Metal in "Nonexistent Metal!" It is rumored to be metal which doesn't exist naturally in the world. When hundreds of esper abilities clash a metal is created which doesn't naturally exist."

"It doesn't exist... I see." Tedashii ponders while studying the platoon. "So you wanna price this existence of such metal during the Daihasei Festival."

"Hohohoho bruh! Just as I expected from you such a sharp eye to catch on quick! Damn if ya didn't have a girlfriend I'll probably jump on your lap."

"Are you four done gossip!" The teacher said loudly into the kids ears.

"Eeke Yes!" Hisoka said, giving in while the other three nods behind.

After class and lunch Tedashii puts on a white gym shirt, shorts, shoes and athletic with black legging sock on the left leg and a white short sock on the right.

"The seventh rank level five Tedashii thought to himself just realizing his current situation. He pulled out a flag and fluster blush already feeling embarrassed being a cheerleader. "This can't get any worse. Well maybe this seventh rank guy won't be so bad lowest of the entire ranking so chances are spectating this seventh rank might not be a big headed jackass looney-tic. What am I kidding, a level five is a level five. The last time I saw one of those I almost died... I'm scared."

Outside to the school's stadium Tedashii approaches the scenery witnessing the cheerleader girls practice swiftly dancing around. The couch seems extremely into the training program, the other Esper kids seem already to push to their limits striving more. The coach yelled out, we're not losing to Tokiwadai, or Nagatenjouki Academy again! Or are you kids happy losing to a middle school and a prestigious school!?"

"Shit! This is the worst time to be wrapped up into sports!"

"Umm, son are you lost?"

"Umm... not really, I'm... well." Tedashii shutter embarrassingly holding a huge white flag and pole.

"Well time to get moving."

"Hmm?"

"If ya ain't drenched in sweat you ain't one of us! So start moving!" The couch calmly quoted to Tedashii with a grimly stare, in turn made Tedashii gulp.

"Coach B.B! That's the new recruit that the advisor requested for you to help Sogiita-San!" A girl with dark tan skin and blonde hair approach the two. Her charms instantly reddened Tedashii's cheeks.

"Is that so? Hmm, he doesn't seem like much, are you sure he doesn't look like he's capable of keeping up with Gunha."

"Don't worry about it," Tedashii states with a serious pierce stare. "It doesn't matter what level they are, I will overwrite the outcome with a formula."

"Hmm... Hahahaha!" The coach and girl started laughing which triggered Tedashii.

"Tch! Where's this so-called level five I'll prove it then!"

"You must be one of those over confident level 4's that don't know their place?" The dark tan girl with blonde hair noted wavering her hand like a fan. "Look I know Sogiita-San is ranked 7th the lowest of all the level 5's but don't take him for granted, he's only ranked the lowest because science can't handle his potential."

"Hmph there's no formula I can't handle! Where is he? I'll get him into top gear!"

"I don't think you understand kid," the couch tried to warn him. "When it comes to Gunha there is no formula..."

Suddenly a boy skyrockets down form out of nowhere, an quake almost erupted upon his landing, colorfully explosions occur blowing back wind pressure.

"Geez he actually showed up today!" The dark tan girl said as her body was somewhat lifted by the wind pressure.

The sound dies down instantly breaking Tedashii's confidence as he is met with a familiar face from the guy who appeared and attacked him and those delinquent goons. "What the hell is he doing here?" Tedashii said with a whiten stare of the windswept and spiky hair boy with a jacket over his shoulders as a make-shift cape, white headband on his forehead to match his overall style, Rising Sun shirt to show his empowerment sprit.

"I'm glad he showed up, and perfect timing, hey Gunha come over here."

"Oh, Coach B.B!" The boy ran up getting close enough for Tedashii to instantly flinch from his appearance.

"Gunha, I haven't told you yet but guest appear asking for a favor for the..."

"I accept! If it's a favor in need of GUTS I will provide what is necessary! Oh Jeong-Min I didn't see you there." Sogiita waves at the dark skin girl giving her a high-five.

"Hey Sogiita!" The dark-tan girl says, smiling she looks back and begins to giggle when she catches a glimpse of Tedashii jaw-wide terrified face that quickly jumps back to his senses maintaining his cool.

"You're Sogiita Gunha?!" Tedashii said gulping, dumbfounded and completely lost.

Sogiita glimpses at Tedashii and smiles, "Oh nice you're that brave gutsy guy I met yesterday."

"Oh you two met?" The coach asks, placing his hands on his shoulder.

"Yeah we saved this poor girl yesterday, some gutless guys tried to push their gutless way upon the girl, and this guy made the first move, I'm quite impressed with him."

"What the hell we? He literally attacked them with me included." Tedashii thoughts scream from within.

"I don't think he needs a gutsy lessons coach." Sogiita confirms with a thumbs up.

"Oh well that's good then you guys will get along then, this here is Tedashii Hamasaki right." The couch guess answered by Tedashii's nod.

Tedashii stares at Sogiita and begins to scratch his head. "So you're a level 5? I knew you were strong from what I witnessed but I didn't expect you to be a level 5. But then again that was a wide of effects basic off the reports, I mean never mind... wow to think, feels like a small city now."

"Yeah I kinda miss school sometimes, we must have just missed each other, but the destiny of guts will always prevail!"

"Huh?"

"Anyways," The coach once again interrupted, "young Tedashii here doesn't need your help; he will be assisting you for the Daihasei festival opening."

"The Daihasei Festival opening?" Sogiita said, puzzled.

"What you seriously didn't know you were doing the ceremony opening?" Tedashii studies the level 5's dumbfounded glaze.

"That's right and here you go this is the speech I'll need you to rehearse and remember this in two days."

"Two days!?" The two boys said as the coach nods.

"Well I'll leave you to Hamasaki." The couch said leaving and heading towards another team.

"Tedashii Hamasaki," the dark tan girl said, snapping her fingers, "So you're Tedashii Hamasaki. Li Mei wouldn't shut up about you, just as I expected you're a jackass."

"Tch! I'm guessing you only heard one sided views."

"Nope Li Mei only ever said good things about you, but I'm not blind like my best friend."

"Best friend?"

"Well if what she said it's true then this should be an interesting pair up. And one more thing, the name's Jeong-Min make her cry again and remember the name that will kill you. Hmph see ya." Jeong-Min left an annoyed Tedashii and happy Sogiita that starred into the paper.

"Whatever, can't wait to get this over with." Tedashii places his hands on his shoulder and closes his eyes before he states, "Okay, well listen here I'm pretty sure a level 5 such as yourselves already have this figured out. You just gotta simply read the paper then memorize it. Shouldn't be that hard, maybe the easiest thing someone like you ever had to do so. Alrighty then well we do have two days and I know it's a little unfair however I quickly constructed a simple formula to help you memorize this."

"A formula? Oh right a formula!" Sogiita interrupts Tedashii.

"According to remembering involves essential processes in the three different memory systems. Since ya got only two days we'll have to take upon the sensory information storage short-term memory and long-term memory. As you progress through each of these systems in succession, the content gets more abstract and gets retained for longer and longer periods of time. We will be..." Tedashii stops mid-sentence surprise to notice the faint stare in space Sogiita gave off. "Is this guy daydreaming on me!!??" Tedashii thought to himself in disbelief. "Yo!! Hey!"

"Huh?"

"Oh I see how it is! Because you're the great rank seventh there's nothing required from a lower level Esper isn't that right?"

"Uh, no I wouldn't say all that? I just don't think this is my style."

"Then fine we can just go through with the read it ten times, say it ten times and write it ten times! You already read it sooo!"

"Now ya talking my language somewhat though it seems too simple."

"What are you scared of?"

"There's nothing GUTS it's scary for let's do it!!"

After Tedashii pulled out a piece of paper and clipboard, he let Sogitta write the speech only for results left with holes and a broken pen.

"What the hell man how the hell you break this!?" Tedashii roared out to the level 5.

"Your pen and clipboard lack Guts."

"Guts? Tch never mind! Fine all you have to do is say it ten times now just do that okay?!"

"Fufu Alright! The test of GUTS gets real!"

"... Are you an imbecile?"

"Hmm?" Sogiita paused and thought back of a time an electromaster calling him such a name before, "I'll tell you something I once said to that certain worthy challenger, I'm an idiot. But, well, SUCH TRIVIAL STUFF LIKE WHETHER I'M SMART OR DUMB IS UNNECESSARY! I DON'T HAVE TO MIND!!"

"No way... this has to be some joke, this is the seventh rank level 5 Esper Sogiita Gunha?! Okay we're the cameras? I'm through with this game!"

"Alright let's see," Sogitta begins the speech, quoting "Our unbreaking bonds will... The bonds will... Ah, what was it again? Ah just forget it!! We will overcome it with Guts!!"

Sogitta swift his hand into a fist as a phenomena form into his clenched hand, he punches the air and a colorful explosion erupted, throwing a squealing swearing Tedashii into the air until a star flicker being blasted off as a cartoon character. "Blahhhhhh!! What the hellllll!!???"

"Fufu oops!"

Among the shadows alleyways in district 7 a group of Espers corners another Esper. "Look it's do or die! The 6th making a move and all they want is an Esper not what kind." The esper with a black leather biker outfit said with his crew of delinquents on motor bikes. "You can't run from here."

"You fool we could use our abilities together to take down the 6th!"

"Just stop it, you and I both know a level 5 is way above our league, they said they only need one of us, so screw it! It's just gotta be you!" The black leather Esper threw out a fire ball so strong that it knocked the single thug down. He conjures up another in his hand but a sudden blink of black and white flash of light flicker.

The two turned around to see a short wavy dark brown hair, and dark grey eyes, mysterious individual standing alone behind them. Black trench coat worn like a cape, white gloves, slim matching black pants masquerade mask and a red tie. Clenching his fist, they could sense a tension.

"You walked in on the wrong scene dude!" The crook smile malicious throwing the fireball at him, to there eyes it seem he was engulfed by the flaming attack only for a black and white flash of light flicker a phantom noise is heard and yellow golden eyes brightened within the flame causing the guys to back off in tension, the flame suddenly turned blue as a smile is form within. "What the hell?"

"Two things are happening. First, the flame is very hot. Second, it is gas molecules that are glowing rather than pieces of soot. Very hot gas molecules glow blue. Oh what? Do you not understand how your own ability works dumbass?"

"My own ability?"

"So you want to run away?" The mysterious guy comments within the blue flames, emerging while holding a huge blue flame sword in his hand. "The convection process feeds fresh oxygen to the fire, which burns until it runs out of fuel. The upward flow of air is what gives a flame its teardrop shape and causes it to flicker. However if you maintain a dark cloud of debris with the AIM to such heat you could shape the flame as desired."

"Who the hell are you?"

"That look, it's what I was waiting for the feared expression that you hide and sheltered behind while throwing others in front as a shield, a cowardly delusion, that I will unburden you of, it's not my business but the feeling... I still want to try something!" The mysterious boy show his hand and suddenly the thugs was repelled back by telekinesis, the individual quickly dash to them like a samurai slash attack sheathing away the flame and knocking them down. "Easy, what a shame that's why I was looking cow and hoping a level 5 would appear."

"Eh you bastard!" The weakened esper use electricity only for the mysterious guy to counter with electricity knocking him down for good. The victim stood there in shock of what he witnessed.

"No way a duel-wielding Esper?"

"Not really?" The mysterious individual said looking back at him, "Rank 6th Esper they said, so I'm at the right tracks, they were after you so speak."

Suddenly steering lights rang and as Anti Skill pulled up the mysterious individual boy vanished from plain sight.
