Zack Yoshikage is a main hero of A Certain Magical Index: The Wandering Swordsman, and the main protagonists of A Certain Unknown Actor. He is also a recurring character in A Certain Scientific Code Vader.

Zack is a mysterious vigilante and leader of the notorious Hollow Knights. He's also the vigilante alias (Joker). His group operates in justice similar to judgement but take matters in slightly a darker route, mainly to put a end to the injustice held down the magic side and dark side of Academy City.

He possesses the mysterious "Wild Card" within his eyes which is capable of coping all forms of magic, esper powers, and divine abilities. Opposite to Imagine Breaker, wild card even includes his own luck multiply it making him lucky as there are blessings to god.

Appearance
It is known that Zack has short wavy dark brown hair, and dark grey eyes. He wears aconsists of a black jacket and a white under-shirt with a dark blue shirt underneath, black pants, and brown shoes.

In Code Vader in which the chapters he been introduced so far in the series takes place before three days the Daihasei Festival he does not have his vigilante outfit in Unknown Actor yet, his costume is an black trench coat worn like a cape, white gloves, black working polo, slim matching black pants, masquerade mask and a red tie.

• Zack's ability comes from the eyes this concept confirm to be inspired idea, Viperslim90 is a fan of Naruto's abilities such as Sharingan, Byakugan, and Rinnegan. Viperslim90 is also a fan of Charlotte specifically Yu Otosaka were the new main basics to Zack concept manifested from after (P5 Joker) Zzz-Awakening wanted write an idea concept of Zack basing it off of (P5 Joker + Charlotte while comparing it to Kamijou Touma.
• Zzz-Awakening took a liking to Zack's ability Wild Card and made a decision with Viperslim90 that Wild Card should be mysterious power similar and connected to the imagine breaker instead of being a Level 5 Esper ability. Both parties agree on it being a mysterious power connected to the imagine breaker.
• Zack's intro scene in Code Vader where Okahara Ryouta throws a fire attack at him, and flames turn blue is an easter egg reference of P5 awakening scene of Joker.
• Zzz-Awakening enjoyed comparing Zack to Kamijou to extreme levels. Zack's theme song Gensou Torimasu references to Gensou Korosu. Korosu means kill, while Torimasu means Taken.

Abilities

Wild Card
Wild Card is a mysterious power that Zack Yoshikage possesses.
Wild Card copies abilities just by glancing at the phenomenal.

It is shown in Unknown Actor & Code Vader that wild card actives from his eyes turning yellow at moment glance of the phenomenal.

It is said within a theory despite not being actually related, Wild Card is Imagine Breaker's polar opposite, contrast to the ability there are similarities as well as polar side by sides. Imagine Breaker is said to kill illusions while Wild Card Expands the illusion making it it's own.

As Wild Card Expands the phenomenal it takes on alias of the said ability functioning as, taking the name of the ability. But it is also noted to at least Zack Yoshikage, that he is using Wild Card and not the ability it is replicating, this would allow him to use both Magic and Espers abilities ignoring the principles of punishments from both sides after using that said ability. This would mean despite being a Esper of Academy City, he can still freely use Magic from Wild Card without taking damage, indicating he is just a ordinary guy with a unusual power.

The user can also use the previous illusions it has copied if the user has an understanding of the illusion's origin, functions.

It's confirm with skill Zack can use esper abilities better than the actual user but it doesn't mean he's capable of improving the ability to an higher level but rather he's using what he has and coming up with his own ideas it would mean anyone with the same eyes wouldn't be able to pull off Zack's creative options, however Zack has difficultly controlling his personality due to the will of Wild Card, Seth is known to control the after effective.

List of abilities that Zack can use at will
• Telekinesis: In Code Vader Zack uses Telekinesis against Okahara Ryouta, And Kenichi Baki, it's currently unknown who he copied this ability but seem of only the level of an level 3
• Auto-Rebirth: When harmed in his battle with Kenichi, Zack tells Uiharu he'll be fine since he copied and has a firm understanding of Tsuchimikado's Auto-Rebirth. Tsuchimikado is a level 0 only meaning the full extent he can copy is of scale of a level 0.
• Pyrokinesis : After fighting and getting Okahara Ryouta's help. Zack inherits Okahara's esper ability Pyrokinesis with his creative skills Zack is able to wield stronger heat than Okahara thus blue flames. The convection process feeds fresh oxygen to the fire, which burns until it runs out of fuel. By maintaining a dark cloud of debris towards the upward flow of air he shape the flame as desired mainly a sword.
• Teleportation: In Azure Lighting part one Zack is shown capable of teleportation to get around. It is unknown who he Acquired it form but since there's a rare number of teleport espers there's a possibility being learn from Kuroko or another whose capable of teleporting themselves.
• Offense Armor: In Azure Lighting part two Zack reminisce about Kinuhata Saiai, confirming he has connections to her, because of these connections he can use offense armor, to take in damage from Cloud's limit assault and keep up with him in terms of speed.

Personally
It is stated within his Bio from Swordwander that he is a quiet, calm, and reserved. This could apply that he is socially awkward due to never having a family. It is also noted that he aims for a quiet life.

In Unknown Actor it is also shown that he has a strong sense of justice, and forgiving love for his father that he would take on his father's wishes despite not knowing him and take on responsibility to look after Anna Zetsubo, however this could be apply that he relates to Anna Zetsubo due to her family death moment after she was born, and wasn't because of his father's actions.

In Code Vader, he is shown to be clever while mocking those and lectures and trolls his opponents on how to use their own abilities properly. In case Okahara Ryouta.

He also proven extremely clever person being able to explain Anna Zetsubo's ability while being able to easily tell Kamijou Touma lost his memories. Being clever and intelligent he is capable to use other Esper abilities of those he copies better.

Anna Zetsubo
Anna Zetsubo suddenly appeared before Zack requesting to be look after by him. He considered after being notify a message from his late Father.

Kamijou Touma
Zack and Kamijou are close friends. This friendship is strong for Zack to be able to easily tell the difference of how Kamijou is and before he lost his memory.

Zack recently met Index of now, though he does not fully trust the nun cause of her confirm knowledge of his mother Mikoto Yoshikage. And tells Kamijou to be careful.

Kazari Uiharu
It is known Zack knows Uiharu and has a crush on her. In Code Vader it is revealed in a hidden text message that he has Uiharu's number. And text her on an entire different phone every time he send her a message. The message shows that he will instantly lose his cool if she was harm, messaging with numerous of errors after hearing about a certain incident.
