Shadow Rensa is the major and true main antagonist of volume 2 [Toaru Kagaku no Code Vader] A Certain Scientific Code Vader. Introduced as an weapon DOLL that Masato and Mara join forces to complete, she eventually took control of herself and became the destructive antagonist that lives up to vol 1's previous. She is a ruthless bio weapon being made of AIM diffusion Fields, Shadow Metal, &  cyborg that wields Li Mei Xiaodan's body, with twist hate towards the board of directors that took place because of project LINE. Masato Jun'ichi created her to Massacre the board of directors with even the intent of the level 5's defending them. She however took control of herself as Tedashii Hamasaki and Zack Yoshikage's final opponent of Vol 2 of Toaru Kagaku no Code Vader.

shown without a body in chapter 18, Shadow Rensa is non other a clear feminine doll, made out of shadow metal material, she looks as if she's a RAM absorbing particles of AIM Diffusion Fields applying a weak magnetic field of vector control.

Doll state active in Li Mei's body
Shadow Rensa actives changing some of Li Mei's features into longer white hair, and red eyes her skin tone changes into a bit of a pale body tan but in controlled her eyes and face seemed hollow, her camouflage like skin-tight body suit, right as if she is naked without showing anything disturbing if idea as if that would make any sense.

Alive In Li Mei Xiaodan's Body
After gaining a conscious her hair long hair changes color into pink with light purple highlights at the ends and rosy cheeks. She purposely took on some of Li Mei Xiaodan's face features to anger Tedashii Hamasaki, also replicating her body features and crafted a skimpy revealing outfit with her bio energy abilities with a pink and purple anime rock idol style girl with a short pink jacket that covered her breast as she didn't even bother to create a shirt, tight Orange leggings, with a star brand designer boots. She also wields a guitar as a weapon.
Her voice sounds like Li Mei but with a dark seductive tone to disturb Hamasaki and Yoshikage (The ones who wants to save her). She also can sport Dark rainbow Ring of rainbow road wings from the storm she use to provide her of the espers within the radius of her black Aura Storm.

Trivia
• In The Finale Of Vol 2 Z didn't want To use a unstable power-up Aura Storm like Misaka 5.3 Rather Z turning interest, to a living being that taunts and disturb Tedashii and Zack during their encounter having bad blood for but conflicted that she's using the body of someone else.
• Shadow Rensa is basic off the Rensa Concept In Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index. However lacking at true define (An body, Incomplete.) However There Seem no flaws in actual differences in power as one uses the power of the 6 Level 5's take the other Shadow Rensa uses all the espers until there's a suitable option. Shadow Rensa's Battle Tactics is a remix of Kamachi Kazuma's commented "who is stronger, a Level 5 or a thousand Level 4?" But Instead "Who is stronger 7 level 5's Or 80 percent of an Entire City"

• Shadow Rensa's ruthless gimmicks of burden her opponents in cruel situations while taunting them is inspired by Mahito from Jujutsu Kaisen manipulating tactics.
• The creation of Shadow Rensa is an example of the risks of Data Mine's true potential. As Akahana Yoko accidentally created her when she became corrupt by Masato's virus. This also proved that Kihara Akuma was wrong about data mine being immune to viruses in vol 1. However it seems that she can only be hacked and infected if she would unconsciously connect to the hacked or infected equipment, meaning she could only be the one at fault if she gets hacked or infected.
• Her childish forward style is basic off of Kid Buu from Dbz, as she sport a childish ruthless manner but gets straight to the point. Her style of taking bodies is also inspired by Super Buu
• The design of her awakening state is basic off Alisa Bosconovitch from the Tekken series and also a reflection, counter part to Tedashii Hamasaki's dark cyberpunk design in Code Vader vol 1 and Aura Storm series.

Abilities

IN-AIM
IN-AIM also known as or officially named NOT-AIM by Masato Jun'ichi is the cyborg built program built counter Academy City to massacre the board of Directors, similar to the other Rensa's she is capable of using the abilities of any esper within a 175 meter radius (of the time of the daihaseisai festival is doesn't matter as she is close to the daihaseisai festival). With Li Mei's Aura Storm Ability using her high collected radiation body to manifest A Dark Rainbow Ring and Wings as a lighting rod after taking control from Masato. She took control of the manifested waves from her creation and created a harmless Aura Storm that acts as air proceed to calculate and imitate the values of different Esper powers allowing her to be capable of using the abilities all over the radius of the storm instead. Because of this her range 400 radius surpass the original Rensa, however Shadow Rensa has failed to replicate the seven level 5's of Academy City mainly due to the fact Masato failed in replicating the data of the level 5's due to the daihaseisai festival restrictions however due to Data Mine, overtime she will obtain the data those espers as well of experiments of all of Academy City before the destruction of the tree diagram.

Due to having her first opponents as Code Vader's fast pace counter esper strategies & Wild Card she explains on a variety of Esper Abilities to Mix up her opponents something she had no choice to do against Code Vader & Wild Card due to their abilities.

IN-Control
Is the name of her body snatching ability unlike the original, Shadow Rensa lack her own body in tern she steals other esper bodies focusing latching unto the bio-cell structure of the human fresh layers reproducing a skin over the target as if she is wearing someone else like clothing from outside as their flesh meat. As a side effect Shadow Rensa takes on the target's voice and esper abilities.

Weakness
All of Shadow Rensa's biggest strengths is her greatest weaknesses, her IN-Control ability gives her a body but only one and not every body would be as useful as Aura Storm's resulting back to the original weakness before taking over Aura Storm, however unlike the original Rensa's, Rensa does not necessarily need a body to survive as fatal attacks like being stabbed or shot in the heart is ineffective as she would leave the body for the victim to parish alone however she can still use the body of the deceased. However the body would still have to be compatible to certain elements which are currently unknown, It is currently know that Li Mei Xiaodan is a perfect host.

She can be hacked and deactivated with 667 firewalls being shut down however can rapidly boot up more unless Tedashii Hamasaki hacks her confirming he's the only one that kill end Shadow Rensa.

Shadow Rensa is considered an official non esper, as her abilities are not basic off Personal Realities or AIM Diffusion Fields, Just like the originals situation Shadow Rensa does not need "talent" to use the powers of its effectiveness is dependent on the one who "pilots" in case (Masato) however after Masato lost control of Shadow Rensa due to Data Mine, she gain her own artificial intelligence, she rid of that weakness for another as Zack Yoshikage points out that she now suffers the same difficulties that he has with Wild Card but unlike him she can actually use the abilities that she can't understand stating "She's like a four year old that god gave an important position in power like a board of dictator. With so much power, with no work experience what's soever the opposite version of me.
She may have the powers of an esper but she is not a esper not even a level "0""

Unlike Multi-Skill, Shadow Rensa is also unable use two powers at once, and even if a switching only requires 0.7 seconds it is always the same and an opponent can still take advantage of this delay, as with the case with original Rensa #028's fight with Kamijou Touma.

Personality

Shadow Rensa is someone that grew up WAY too early from considering Masato like a father but criticize him like a misguided teen. She is not to be confused with accelerator's personally as it was just a coincidence to looking down on her opponents calling them third-strings. She also has a toon anime character vide at times coming off as cartoonish similar to vol 2's bright style.

Similar to Rensa #29 in aggressive and vicious as well as her own repulsive nature, she is very hostile preferring to get straight to the point. She is very straight forward in roles, believing a hero should be all good and a villain should be all bad, even criticizing Masato Jun'ichi for being talked outta his plans by Tedashii and Zack. She likes to throw out ruthless and mocking jokes in savior of special moments such as joking that Tedashii and Joker had to team up just to fight a thirty minutes old self or when gaining control two minutes instead (if not counting before.) Her dark ruthless, childish twist nature goes far to becoming jealous and annoyed that the two boys are still trying to save Li Mei Xiaodan that she goes as far to annoy them trying every type of way to ruin the image Tedashii has for Li Mei talking in her voice stating things such as "I always hated you and if you never treated me bad before this wouldn't have happened!" and then laughs mocking him if it actually bothers him. She goes far to even disturb the Tedashii and Zack using Li Mei's voice asking they would be satisfied with sex from her. Despite what she says, she knows nothing of Li Mei and because of that she failed to even convince the boys otherwise.

Rensa has a perfection problem desiring in order such as wanting to kill Wild Card first and saving Code Vader for last as she sees Wild Card as her ultimate rival and Code Vader as her arch nemesis, she also love quotes in her way of looking down on humans that they are people that always got something native to say while they don't have the answers to the Global problems of the world as she question, "You got so much to say about saving someone but you got nothing for thousands that die at war if you're so heroic then where we're you then to save the world?"

Shadow Rensa loves to fight as she say it's best to give her a taste of all the possibilities she can come up with. She has a fighting manner that completely different from Rensa 28th and Rensa 29, using powerful attacks and quoting "So that's what that skill can do."
