Toaru Kagaku no Code Vader (A Certain Scientific Code Vader) is a fanfic that is basic off Kamachi Kazuma's Toaru Majutsu no Index franchise, as well a collaboration side series to Viperslim90's (A Certain Magical Index: The Wandering Swordsman).

Carrying the scientific title it is similar to Toaru Kagaku no Railgun & Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator. A original side story written by Zzz-Awakening. It is the second fanfic installment to Viperslim90's fanfic universe and first A Certain Magical Index fanfic to Zzz-Awakening.

Though a collaboration series, it is still considered a main series as Zzz-Awakening's debut fanfic series within the A Certain Magical Index, with no other fanfics required to read to start the series. It could be considered a main series in pair with Viperslim90's A Certain Magical Index: The Wandering Swordsman.

Background
The events of the story takes place around the month of September, before and between the Tree Remnant Diagram Arc and continues on from there on. Tedashii Hamasaki a student of the scientific city Academy City, who plans to hack and overwrite the city as his own and construct a new city as the terrorist vigilante (Code Vader), sought possession of the mysterious cyborg girl Akahana Yoko after discovery of the Tree Diagram's destruction. But soon fines himself in a tug of war with Academy City's Dark side when news of a hunt for the new key blueprint Akahana Yoko, and the Tree Diagram Remnant core. His terrorist ways is soon abandoned once he begin to care for Akahana turning into her cyber tech guardian, a new Code Vader.
