Chanyeol had set Baekhyun to his house after that. Baekhyun had never forgot, though, the part when they almost kissed and how many times he shrugged it off, he ended up failing. He just let himself remember it and would only end up spacing out, which Chanyeol would notice.

On their way home, Baekhyun and Chanyeol were quiet. Probably thinking, what would happen after this day ends. Chanyeol made out to Baekhyun's home safely. "Here you go." Baekhyn suddenly realized that he was at their house already but he was shocked when Chanyeol suddenly had known their way to the house. "I thought you forgot the way to my house." Chanyeol's eyes widened. He had to make something up. He can't just say that he wanted to be with him the whole time, that would probably make Baekhyun be creeped out at him, which he didn't want to happen. "I-I suddenly remembered the way to your house." He managed to say after thinking. Baekhyun wasn't satisfied with his answer but he let it slip anyway.

Baekhyun looked at his house and noticed that it's lights were turned on. He quickly went off. "Thanks for the ride Chanyeol. And for comforting me. It was nice being with you." He flashed a smile and went inside already before Chanyeol could even say something, leaving the guy smiling like a derp or maybe a creep, as he thought, on his own.

Baekhyun's POV

As I went inside the house. The whole house was quiet. I looked around and saw my parents in the kitchen with nervous faces. When they saw me, they quickly stood up and went to me. "What took you so long? We were worried? What happened? Why didn't you answer our calls or even our messages?" My mom kept on asking me questions that I failed to answer because when I was about to, she's going to hit me with another question that would end up with sighing.

My dad calmed her down and calmy asked. "Where did you go?"

I wasn't nervous. The only person that could make me nervous is my mom. Yeah, mom's rage are really scary than my dad's. My dad is calm yet my mom is really.... I don't know... Maybe a whole lot different person when she's worried or angry. "I was just in my friend's house."

Moments of silence but mom broke it. "How about we meet your friend?" That took me surprised. "I mean, there's nothing wrong with it, we're just going to make sure if that friend of yours is trusted or not. After all, all we want is to protect you." I sighed. Chanyeol's not a bad guy but I want him to meet my parents. I'm sure they'll be okay if I go out or hang out with him anytime, after my parents had fully meet him on person. "Yeah. Sure. I'll invite him dinner tommorow." They nodded.

"Have you eaten yet?" My mom asked. I have eaten a bit at Chanyeol's house but I want to taste my mom's food for today. "Yes, but I want to taste your food."

"All right. That's all I want to hear." She said and went working on the kitchen. "How about you'll go upstairs, son and take a bath. You smell worse than me." My dad said and I chuckled.

"Don't believe in your father. No one smells worse than him."

"Actually son," my father leaned in to me, "you're mother has a problem with smelling."

"Hey! I heard that." My mom said and I chuckled.

"It's because it was supposed to." My father talked back.

"Go upstairs Baekhyun before you can see my wrath." My mom said and I laughed a bit while shaking my head from left to right.

I went upstairs and changed my clothes and laid in my bed for a while. It's a nice day today. But. I can't do anything about Taeyeon. Should I avoid her? Or should I just pretend that nothing happened? If I chose either of them, I know that it will lead to just one thing. It will just end up to hurting her.

"Baekhyun, honey, dinner's ready! You can come down now!"

I stood up from the bed and went downstairs to eat. I sat down and noticed one thing. My mom and dad are back to being lovey dovey again but I know they'll fight again for over small things, and my dad will always tease my mom making her pissed off but in the end they'll be back again and this keeps on going on and on. I smiled. At least, there are people who you know that you'll love forever.

I woke up by the sound of the alarm. Again. This always makes me pissed and it still does. I snoozed the alarm a little too harshly making my hands hurt in the process.

I sat up on my bed, lazy enough to stand up. Suddenly, I felt my phone vibrate. Finally! It's already on vibration. I looked at it and saw a message from an unknown number. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

I read the message.

Good morning! :) - Chanyeol

And just like energizer, I sat up properly. How did Chanyeol knew my number?

To: Chanyeol

How did you know my number?

None too later, my phone vibrated.

From: Chanyeol

I'll tell you at school. But for now, go take a bath already. I know you've just woken up.

And with this I chuckled lightly and went in to the bathroom to wash myself. I wore my uniform after that. I put on the white inner long-sleeved shirt and buttoned it. I put on the another black outer shirt, which is also long-sleeved, and made sure not to button it. I opened the first two buttons of the inner shirt so that I could breathe and add a little style to it. I fixed my jet black hair properly but not that formal because I would looke like a creep if I did that. I just left it messy yet clean. Do you get me? No? Whatever.

I went downstairs and headed to the kitchen and sat at the dining table for breakfast.

"Hey darling! Why so early?" My mom asked as he noticed me in the kitchen.

"Mom!"

"Okay, okay. I'll prepare your breakfast." She said and went to cook. My dad suddenly came in while still fixing his tie. "Oh son. Would you like me to take you to school today? I'm not that much in a hurry anyway." He said while he finished his tie. I was about to agree but I declined it. "I can manage that." He nodded after that went to sit next to me.

My mom cooked us sunny side-up egg and bacon. She place an egg and two strips of bacon on each plate and placed it on front of us. I smelled what she cooked. "Smelling it makes it already delicious." I said and began to eat. I finished up the food and put the plate on the sink and was about to wash it. "Darling, I'll be taking care of that. Just leave it there." She said while flashing a smile. I nodded and bid my goodbyes to them and went off to walk for school.

As I reached school, I saw a familiar figure on the gate and he noticed me too. Chanyeol! I was about to go for him but suddenly a girl dragged him somewhere. Taeyeon. I know Taeyeon and Chanyeol are childhood friends but, the feeling where you suddenly felt a pang on your chest is there. I know Chanyeol can't avoid Taeyeon, though he already knows that I and Taeyeon had problems with each other. They're also friends and I shouldn't be too selfish.

I sighed and entered the gates with a frown on my face. I guess I'm going to be all alone for now. Or maybe for the entire school year.

Chanyeol's POV

I was waiting outside the gate for Baekhyun. I am really impatient when it comes to waiting. But I need to be patient. Its my fault anyway why I had come to school this early.

Moments passed, Baekhyun still wasn't here. Suddenly a familiar guy was walking on the corner and he noticed me too. Baekhyun. He was about to go to me when someting or someone had grabbed me by the arm and took me somewhere. Taeyeon. I know I shouldn't just be rude on her because she's my bestfriend. And I know she was also really hurt about what happened to both of them. I couldn't blame anyone of them though. No one's at fault. I am very concerned between the two and now I am also stuck with them.

She loosened the grip. I noticed that she took to me to a place where students rarely visits. It was the 4th gate of the school. I knew because I studied the school so that I won't get lost and be stupid.

She turned to face me and I was shocked. Real shock. She's not the very energetic and optimistic Taeyeon that I have seen before. She looks like she really didn't sleep and all she did was to cry and cry. How's that even possible? It's just two days. She looks weak too and probably she haven't eaten anything yet. I was really concerned about her. She was really hurt. Of course she is! How can I be so stupid.

"A-are you okay Taeyeon. I heard what had happened between you and Baekhyun." Stupidity hits again. She's not okay, you dumb elf.

"Yeah. I'm fine. How did you know?" Lies. Taeyeon I already know you that much and I could tell you when you lie. It's that obvious. I can see it in your face, literally.

"Uhmmm... Because he was my friend too." I said. I don't want to mention his name. Maybe she would feel bad for that even more. I could see that she's holding back her tears.

She smiled slightly. "Glad you've got a friend already." Yeah. And because of that I also forgot that you're my friend too. She was really hurt. No one even comforted her.

I frowned and I hug her tightly. "Taeyeon. Hope I can comfort you. I really hope I can." Then her back shook a little which means she's already crying. I rubbed my hands in her hair comforting her but made her cry even more. She hugged back. "Ch... Chanyeol, I ruined... I ruined... Everything." She said in between her sobs.

"Shhh... Shh... It's not your fault. No one's at fault." She continued sobbing.

She loosened her hug and looked up at me. "Chanyeol, will you be my boyfriend?" What! That caught me off guard. My eyes widened. Am I hearing things right?
