Soon, Cecilia got geared up for her test. Although she seemed hesitant towards the test, she still decided to do it because she had to get stronger. Strong enough to kill her father.

As soon as she stepped into the field, she was bombarded with attacks fro. Whirl. "Hey, what gives?! We haven't even started." Cecilia said as she drew her wooden sword.

"It had already commenced when you took a step into the field. If this was actual battle, you'll be dead before you know it." Whirl warned.

Cecilia understood what he meant and charged at Whirl. "Hiya!!!!!!!"

"Water pulse!" Cecilia blocked the attack with her sword. She focused her aim and charged once again at Whirl. Just when her attack was going to land, a fire breath like attack came at her.

She managed to dodge it with minimal damage but she was still injured at her arm. "A 2v1? How unfair is that?"

"Missy, no one said every battle we had up till now was fair. This is your test. Prove yourself by landing a hit at us. If you can't manage this, you won't survive an actual battle." Huge said sternly. Cecilia seemed to be pretty annoyed with his words but he had a point. If even after training, she can't manage to hit anyone of them, she would be useless in battle.

She wiped off all thoughts in her head and focused on her surroundings. She scrutinised every inch of surrounding and got a rough idea of how she can go about attacking them. Whirl and Huge both prepared to attack her when she suddenly charged at them with her sword up high. "How slow!!" Whirl shouted. He shot a water pulse at Cecilia and she sliced it up and continued her advance towards them. Her eyes were not those of the kind and childish Cecilia anymore. They were the focused and precise eyes of an archer trying to find an opportunity to strike. 

Just when Whirl was about to dodge her attack, she turned her heels and jumped for Huge who was caught off guard. Huge tried to block it with his fire shield but was too slow. He got hit directly on the shoulder and was given a roundhouse kick by Cecilia. He was pushed back a distance.

Next, she charged at Whirl. "What's this? It's like she changed her personality comepletely. Her moves are more precise and accurate, just like that of an assassin." Whirl thought. "Water Bullets!! Water Blaster!!" He summoned bullets made of water, shaped like a sharp needle and a huge water whirlpool, both aimmed at Cecilia.

She dodged the bullets easily and swung her sword a few times. The water whirlpool was cut into 4 and she landed a few hits on Whirl. At that moment, Huge used a fire ring to trap Cecilia but she dodged it by doing 2 backwards somersault. All of a sudden, she shouted a command. "Dark Pulse!!!" Pulses like Whirl's water pulse appeared and attacked Huge. Huge tried to block with his fire cyclone but it was cut up by the pulses. "Water Riser!!" Water cyclones started to appear in front of Huge and he got the plan. "Combination attack: Heat Stream!!" The water was mixed with fire and the cyclone was directed at her Dark pulses. 

The attacks clashed but Cecilia did not hold back and charged at Whirl and Huge. They countered with their weapons but they were overpowered by her attack. Both of them were kicked by 2 roundhouse kicks and they flew to the walls the underground training field. Cecilia then dropped her sword and fell to her knees. "Cecilia!" Joe rushed to her side.

"Are you alright? That isn't like you. You are not of that capability yet. Did you perhaps awaken your inner self?"

"I-I'm not sure. I was trying to focus on the battle and then this feeling started overwhelming me. I lost control of my body."

"I see. So it has awakened. We have no need to wait longer. We'll begin your training immediately. Since it has awakened, we have no reason to train on such things. That other personality of yours is fully capable of performing the training you have done so far. I believe that by letting it take over you, you might be able to learn from it. Moreover, it is way stronger than your normal form. Now, all we have to work on is your fighting potential and taming that personality of yours." Joe explained.

"I kinda get it but how am I to do all this? Surely you know my skill level is not that great."

"I know that. That's why we're training you. I have thought of a name for that personality. You will be called Xilia."

"Xilia? Where'd that come from?"

"X stands for confirmed death. Lia is your end syllabus for Cecilia. We will train you so that you can switch forms when the enemy is really tough. You should not underestimate your father. He may look weak but he is damn strong. Now, go rest up. You've got a hell of a week to endure before we invade the palace."

"Rest up? But what about the test?"

"You passed. To be able to cut up Whirl's attack and dodge Huge's surprise attack in midair was good enough. If you had been the old Cecilia, you might have not survived that. Also, sorry for just now. I shouldn't have raised my voice at you."

"Don't mention it. I don't mind at all. I'll do my best for the upcoming week so that I can be at the level to kill my father."

Joe nodded his head, still guilty about scolding Cecilia but he knew she really did not mind it. With this, they all went to rest in their quarters.
