The man let out his hand to invite Grodin to stop crying.

"W-W-Who are you?" Grodin asked, still sobbing.

"My name is Joe. I saw you and your sister confronted by Hunter. I came to stop him and get you two away from him but it turns out that I'm late. Why'd your sister go?" Joe asked.

"She said that we will be in good hands but I don't trust that guy. He looked evil." Grodin then stopped crying and started to explain everything. Joe understood everything.

"Now I understand. Ok. Tell you what. Join my group, Dusk Breakers." Joe said it like how Luffy would say to anyone he finds interesting.

"W-What?"

"Join our group. It's the only way to save your sister. You won't regret joining us." Joe tried to persuade Grodin. After a minute of silence or so, Grodin decided to join Dusk Breakers. They then returned to Dust Mite and Joe introduced her to the current members of Dusk Breakers, Whirl and Freya.

A month later, Grodin became good friends with them and they started teaching her how to fight. At first, it was straining on her body but as trainings went by, her determination to save Verica grew stronger and it eventually led to the current Grodin.

*Ping!* *Plang!* *Block!* "Haa!!! Cergo Punch and connecting move, Earth Punch!" Grodin threw a punch which hit the ground and then an earth fist erupted from the ground beneath Verica. She barely evaded the attack and returned fire with Phinex's bolts.

"That won't stop me! Earth Remnants! Rise up and defend your master!" Grodin summoned a few Earth Remnants, the size of a human, rose from the ground and surrounded Grodin in a circle.

"Hoho. So after these few years, you're still relying on others to protect you. No wonder you're pathetic. Thunder Blake: Hound Shot!" Verica pointed Phinex at Grodin and fired a huge shot which split itself into multiple shots and each had a homing* property.

Grodin tried to evade but the homing property of the shots made her attempt futile. "Tsk. Earth Remnants! Mud Shots now!" The Earth Remnants then each fired a molten rock from their hands and they intercepted the thunder shots.

"Slow! Electro Ball!" Verica fired an electric ball at Grodin. The speed of it was too fast that Grodin could not evade.

"Urgh!!! Fissure!!" Grodin slammed Dranior on the ground and it caused a fissure aimmed at Verica.

Verica tried to dodge it by jumping mid air but that was what Grodin wanted. "Phantasy Strike!!" Grodin and the Earth Remnants then teleported and surrounded Verica, all ready to attack. "Got you now!"

"Oh crap! I can't evade!! What do I do.........Is probably what you're thinking right? Too bad." Verica then disappeared. Their attacks all missed and Verica crumbled all the Earth Remnants by firing shots at them. Her training had paid off.

"Nice try Grodin but you're still not going to defeat me like this! Hiya!" Verica gave Grodin a roundhouse kick and sent her flying to the wall.

"Ugh.......Ouch......Damn you, Verica!!! Boulder Bash!!" Grodin then used her earth powers to control all the rubble on the floor and sent them flying at Verica.

"Heh. As if that'll work! Thunder Blake: Hound Shot!!" Verica used the same attack to destroy the rubble before it could reach her. Grodin was waiting for that one chance.

"This is over now! Culling Blade!!!!!!!!" With all her might, Grodin swung Dranior and landed a fatal hit on Verica.

"UWAH!!!!!!!!! TSK!!!! IT'S NOT OVER YET!!" Verica was severely damaged on the right shoulder.
"I never think I'll use it against you. But you gave me no choice, Grodin. Mode change: Zeus's Armour and Loch*'s Bow!" Stripes of yellow and white appeared on Verica's body just like Medusa*. She also summoned a bow which fused together with Phinex to form a long range powerful crossbow, Daedelus.

"I have severely damaged your right shoulder. How do use expect to use your crossbow? It's my victory now! Hiy-!! *Cough!*" A bolt of lightning was shot at Grodin's right shoulder.

"Now we're even." Verica sounded very confident, as if she was destined to win.

"H-How did you shoot?" Grodin asked, using one hand to cover her wound.

"Who ever said that I needed two hands to shoot? I can shoot even if one of my hands is down. After all, I didn't say that I will be at a disadvantage when my hand is injured. Thunder Resonance!" Lightning surrounded Verica's shoulder, her wound regenerating.

"!! Regeneration ability?! Ugh.... It looks like I will have a tough time. But nonetheless, I have come this far. I can't back down now...Looks like I have no choice...
I'll have to use it.....Even if it's just for 15 minutes, I will use it!!" Grodin closed her eyes and then stood up and swung her axe in front of her.

"Mode change: Nature's Prophet!!" Vines then erupted from the ground and covered Grodin like a chrysalis.

The chrysalis slowly opened up and a huge glow accompanied it. Grodin stepped out of it. Green stripes like Gray's ice devil slayer arm appeared on her face, arms and legs. Her Dranior split into two and each was a dual bladed axe.

"Verica! I will defeat you!! I bet everything on this final battle!!" Grodin declared and got into battle stance, just like Death the Kid*.

"That's some powerful aura you're emitting. Seems you're really serious about this. Very well, let's dance." Verica got into her battle stance, just like Loch*.

Whirl, who was busy fighting, felt Grodin's aura. "Hmm?! She's using it?! I can feel her determination to win and rescue her sister....Don't over exert yourself, Grodin...."

With this, the battle between the sisters finally begins with an intense atmosphere.

Hi, all. So..... Here it is! The sad and epic fight between the sisters. I was hoping to get nicer ideas but I can't think much.

*Death the Kid is from Soul Eater. Search his battle with Ragnerok, that stance he takes is Grodin's battle stance.

*Medusa is also from Soul Eater. Resonance by TM revolution. The first op of Soul Eater will show Medusa with her stripes.

*Loch is a unit from brave frontier. She uses a bow and her armour looks cool. Check her out.

This opening just came out on Saturday, 3rd October 2015. I find that this fits this sister story greatly! Do vote for it if you think that this opening fits both fairy tail and this battle!
