Babox

A carnivorous plant that that grows from anywhere between 4 to 7 feet in height. Though it is rooted to the ground, it is extremely mobile in it's axis. The girth of its stem is around 16 inches. The stem has the ability to open horizontally throughout it's length to reveal numerous teeth on either side. Combined with its mobility, this allows it to eat small animals that venture near it. They don't have leaves and only look like a stem, hence camouflages easily as a dead tree. It grows mainly in desert areas and feeds on snakes, scorpions etc. This plant is from a family of plants knows as Sanguimorae. This family is different from other plants as they have blood akin to animals. The blood of this plant is the main recipe for a well known Eirinian drink called Biboto
