~Chapter Six : Pinky Promise~

I looked at the back sit of our car. The five cat boys we found were sleeping peacefully. I smiled seeing that they are in good hands, except the fact that two of them are injured.

"Where do you think these cat boys came from?" My husband asked as he drived.

"I don't really know..." I said as I frowned. "All of them looks like they've gone through the depths of hell."

"I could agree." He said as he smiled at me. "But taking all of them in your care, you didn't change one bit."

I giggled. "Well, I couldn't possibly leave them, could I?" I said.

"Well, I do feel bad for them as well." He said. "But what do we do with them?"

"We should take care of them until all of them is in good condition." I said as I looked at the cat boys again. "After that, we should find a loving family for each of them."

"I see..." My husband said. "We can't take them all in our house for a long period, after all..."

"Yeah...I wonder if (Y/N)'s okay with this?" I asked.

"(Y/N) is a good hearted girl, she'll understand this surely." He said.

"I know but..." I said but was cutted off.

"Let's have faith on our little girl." He said. "That incident she went through must've been cleared by now. I mean, it's been three years."

"Yeah...I guess so..." I said as I smiled.

"I'll believe in our (Y/N)."

I woke up as the sun's shine hit my face. I looked at my husband and he was still driving. I looked at the window and saw familiar images, signalling that we are almost home.

"Good morning, honey." I heard my husband said.

I smiled at him. "Morning." I said.

"Don't you think we need to wake up the boys?" My husband said. "Once we turn to that corner over there, we'll see our house."

"Yeah..." I said and looked behind me. I was then suprised by all the cat boys as they were already awake. "Oh, good morning, boys."

"Good morning." Said the orange haired cat boy as he politely bowed.

"Morning." Said the white haired cat boy, looking at me with his cold blue eyes.

"Good Morning..." Said the black haired cat boy before looking back to the window.

"Morning..." Said the blonde cat boy, half-asleep.

"Good...Morning..." Said the red haired cat boy, shyly as he looked down.

"We're almost at our home so, prepare, okay?" I said to them, smiling.

All of them nodded, understanding my statement. I then remembered something.

"Oh, yeah..." I said as I looked back at them. "I have something to tell you all."

Their cat ears twitched as they looked at me. "Well, you see...in our home, we have a daughter." I explained. "And well, let's just say she has bad memories with cat people like all of you so, I hope you treat her nicely."

The cat boys looked at each other before going back to me and each of them nod, signalling that they understand.

"Oh, thank you very much!" I thanked them.

We finally arrived at our destination and the car slowly stopped. I opened the door and looked to see our house. I went to the door where the cat boys were located and opened the door for them. They all got out of the car one by one.

"Come on, let's go inside." I said. "You guys must be hungry, right?"

We all went towards the house and knocked at the door as I figured it was locked. "(Y/N)? Are you awake? Open the door, please?" I called,

When no one answered, I wasn't suprised. It is very early in the morning and (Y/N) doesn't have school today so she has all the rights to have her beauty sleep.

I looked at my husband who right beside, sleepy and exhausted. "House keys." I demanded and he snapped out of his sleepy state. He began to search inside the bag we have and once he found it he gave it to me.

As the woman began to unlock the door, everyone was startled when they heard noise like something just cracked, followed by a child loudly gasping in suprise.

Everyone looked up at the tree beside the house and saw a falling child in her pajamas. Everyone widened their eyes in shock as the little girl landed on the hard ground on her back.

The little girl gave a painful squeak, as if trying to hold in the pain. Tears began to appear in her tightly closed eyes but was doing her best to keep it in.

"(Y/N)!" The man and woman exclaimed as both of them ran towards their daughter's side, leaving the five cat boys with their eyes widen, wondering what just occured to them.

The man then gently placed the little girl, who seemed to be called (Y/N), on his arms as she groaned in pain. "What are you doing hanging around on a tree!?" Her mother asked, frantically.

The five cat boys, finally snapping back to their original concsiousness, went towards the couple and the injured child.

"B-Because...ow...this kitten..." (Y/N) squeaked out as she let out a smile, as if apologizing. "I-It was calling for help..."

Everyone widened their eyes and heard a little meow from (Y/N)'s arms. "I couldn't leave it alone s-so...Before I knew it, I was in the tree and..." She said as she looked down.

"Alright, we heard enough." Her mother said and her father gently carried her. The woman then looked up to the tree. "Good, it isn't that high...Let's go inside."

"O-Ow!" (Y/N) exclaimed as she sat still on her knees. Her mother massaging every bit of her back. "It hurts!"

"Don't worry, honey..." She said as she pressed her hand onto your back, receiving a flinch from the girl. "If I don't do this, your body will ache a lot more than this later."

"Ngh..." (Y/N) whined as she bit her lips.

After a few massages and (Y/N) enduring the pain, finally, her mom sighed and smiled at her. "There. All done." She said as she smiled at (Y/N). "Now, wasn't that a relief?"

(Y/N) layed on her stomach. "I thought I was going to die..." She whispered.

As she sulked, she slowly pushed herself off the ground to meet with five different colored boys. (Y/N) stopped sulking and began to blink, trying to figure out what she is looking at.

One blinked at her back. One swayed their tail, curious. One lowered down their ears, feeling a little scared. One glared at the girl, and was alerted. One's fur began to stood up on it's end, feeling like he's being judged.

"..." (Y/N) remained silent.

"..." So did the five cat boys.

"Oh...?" (Y/N) said in a tiny voice.

"?" The five cat boys looked at her, confused.

"Ah!" (Y/N) yelled in a loud voice causing the cat boys to flinched in suprise. "You're all cat boys...! It's been so long since I've seen one..."

(Y/N) suddenly looked like she's seeing a past memory but she shook her head quickly and looked at the cat boys, who was all this time looking at her with mixed emotions. She smiled at them and stuck out her tounge. "Oh, I'm sorry..." She apologized as she scratched the back of her head. "Hehehe...I must've weirded you guys out..."

All of the cat boys slowly began to calm down, seeing that (Y/N) was harmless. Then, they all heard a chuckle coming from (Y/N)'s parents.

"I see that you just saw them, (Y/N)." Her mother said as she turned to the five. "Now, that you've noticed them, how about introduction? I mean we haven't really known your name."

They were all instructed to sit down on the sofa while (Y/N) stayed at her place and watched them. "You go first, don't be shy." Your mother said as she looked at Akito.

Akito blushed in embarassment and looked everywhere but anyone's eyes. "I am Nakamura Akito..." He said, trying to be as polite and mature as possible.

The introduction went on after Akito. "Hiiragi Fuyuko." Fuyuko said, emotionless.

"I'm Tsukino Natsuki..." Natsuki said as he tried to let out a friendly smile but instead, a slight smile has appeared. Only to disappear quickly.

"Tachibana Chikage." Chikage exclaimed, as he still haven't lowered down his guard yet.

"I-I'm...S-Shizuka Haruki..." Haruki shyly said as he looked down.

"Alright..." (Y/N)'s father said as he smiled at them. "How about any information about you all? Anything we can help you with you lives with?"

Suddenly, the atmosphere has lowered down. They didn't answer which made (Y/N)'s parents look at each other in confusion. As her parents wondered, (Y/N) looked to the five, only to find them covered in such negative emotions.

Akito was bitting his lip, his face was sweating, and (Y/N) can see tiny tears on his eyes. Fuyuko was still emotionless only that (Y/N) noticed that his eyes were more darker and...sadder than before. Chikage's expression was anger, clenching his fist tightly. Natsuki's face looks so sad and lonely that (Y/N) can even feel it herself. And Haruki, his whole body was trembling with fear, lips quavering as if trying not to cry.

This was not noticed by the two adults in the room. (Y/N) concluded that this was a certain thing that only kids like them can see. Sadness that is overlooked by adults. (Y/N) has to do something, she needs to, she can't take this anymore.

"Mommy, daddy..." She called, getting the attention of her parents and the five cat boys out of their negative thoughts.

"Yes, dear?" They both replied.

(Y/N) smiled at them. "Maybe we shouldn't look too much about their personal lives..." She said as she smiled at the five. She stood up and walked infront of them. "Surely, there's going to be a day where they will tell us...We don't need to force the words out."

"Hey..." She called them. "Can you pinky promise me something?"

(Y/N) stuck out her pinky to them. "Please promise to me, mommy, and daddy that someday...You'll tell us about yourself and what happened to all of you, alright?" She said. "Stuck out your pinky if you promise."

They all looked hesitant but after a few seconds, one by one, they all stuck out there pinkies. (Y/N) smiled wider. "Thank you!"

(Y/N) intertwined her pinky with everyone as the cat boys' cheeks began to have a little tint of pink on them. She looked at them with a large smile.

"I'm (Y/N) (L/N)! Nice to meet you~!"

I know it's short but atleast I updated (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))) Anyway, I feel like maybe, I'll update every two weeks or something? I don't know and I'm not really sure （ ｉ _ ｉ ）I'm not good at keeping up with my plans...

I just one of my dreams come true today~!
