 I don't know how long we sat there in silence to be honest...

 The only noises that accompanied us was the sound of the mind controlled Evolutionist outside. They spoke in garbled gibberish that sounded like hissing. Mini sounded angry at Solidarity as something hit the door.

 Mumbo tried to make a panic noise, but Tango's magic kept him in fearful silence. Mumbo was breathing heavily as I pulled him into a hug. I looked over at X with my eyebrows narrowed.

 " What do we do?" I mouthed as Mumbo shivered against me. He was silently crying at this point. X looked towards the stairs, " We can better assess the situation from upstairs." he mouthed. 

 X looked over at Netty, who had shifted to her bush baby form. The admin picked Netty up and put her on his head. The bush baby gave us a concerned look as her ears twitched. 

 I looked at Mumbo as he continued to cry. I then looked at Tango, " Can you use your magic on Rik to get him up the stairs?" I questioned as the demon nodded. The demon stalked on all fours as he shifted into his power form again.

 Tango's horns had a faint magic around it as he picked Rik's still unconscious form up. The stumpt member's closed eyes twitched as his hand twitched. He let out a faint wheeze as Tango stalked up the stairs. 

 When Tango was gone, I took Mumbo and gently led him upstairs. The poor guy was still shaking from crying. He looked at me as the red magic remained around his mouth. I needed to tell Tango to let Mumbo open his mouth again. 

 Tango laid Rik down on a couch that was upstairs in some sort of entertainment room. Rik groggily opened his eyes and tried to open his mouth. Tango immediately put this magic around Rik's mouth as well.

 The bearded man tried to move and panicked until Tango pinned him down. The demon whispered something into Rik's ear causing his eyelids to droop. His eyes fluttered as he blacked out again. 

 I led Mumbo to a couch, and he tiredly climbed onto it. The hermit laid there and covered his mouth. He looked at me pleadingly before hiding his whole face in his arm. 

 I briefly ran my hand through Mumbo's hair before turning to Tango. The demon went back to his normal self as his tail twitched. 

 X and Netty came up the stairs and went over to the far way. X had hidden himself in the corner and put Netty down onto the bed. The admin put his helmet on and started to look around at the many screens. He narrowed his eyes and leaned back.

 Netty laid down near him and was staring at a picture of Martyn. God, if she saw what happened to her friends..... 

 Shut up Iskall85, Netty will see her friends and loved one in their controlled state. There is no 'if' about it!

 I crossed my arms and went over to Tango. The demon's tail twitched as he stared at me, " What?" he mouthed as his red eyes glowed. I furrowed my eyebrows, " What did you do to Rik?" I questioned.

 " He was in pain, and he was going to reveal our positions." Tango explained with his eyebrows narrowed. I crossed my arms, " What if he wasn't? The poor guy is in pain, and you could be making it worse." 

 Tango was going to say something, but he looked back at Mumbo. The American's tail twitched, " You want me to let Mumbo out of the spell, right?" he snapped his fingers. Mumbo let out a small sigh as he shuffled slightly. Tango narrowed his eyes, " There happy? Go back over to Mumbo and keep him calm. I got work to do." he turned to the window.

 Tango...

 I am an experienced investigator sometimes. When Rik wakes up, I was going to find out what you did. One way or another. 

 Well, eventually I would find out. Right now, right now, I need to comfort my British partner in business. Mumbo was curled up on the couch; he looked sick to his stomach as he raised his eyes out of his black sleeves.

 " ...."

 I tried to give him a smile, but he buried his face back into his sleeve. His eyes were bloodshot from crying more. 

 Shaking my head, I went over to the other window. I didn't want to deal with Tango anymore today. My hand shook as I raised the curtain to the window.

 Outside the building, the mind controlled Evolutionists were stalking around. Mini growling at Solidarity. There really wasn't anything happening until a loud howl echoed through the whole 'town'. 

 The four men all turned towards the main portal. A short, ooze covered creature walked towards the group.

 Oh god, it's even worse seeing them directly.

 The creature exited the body of the hybrid revealing the fused form between the hybrid and my best friend. The fusion's hair was a cross between a dark brown and blond. This fusion had Mighty's tail, ears, and hood, but it also had Grian's glasses.

 " You, Mini, take the hy br id up to the ca st le. I bashed th eir arm an d right leg whe n tryi ng to open the do or. " the creature hissed. Mini nodded and carried the fusion towards the castle. 

 The creature then looked at Zee and Martyn, " You tw o, go ch eck the se hou ses for those idiots." it growled and looked at Solidarity. 

 The man twitched as he stared up at the creature," Solidarity, I n e ed you to gu a rd Stumpt. I wa nt those contain er s protected in case that raccoon of a man sh o ws up."

 With those orders in place, the controlled hermits split off. The creature, its body oozing and shifting, disappeared into a portal. I watched Martyn and Zee as they trudged towards our makeshift base. 

 I dropped the curtain the moment when Martyn looked up at me.
