 Iskall's POV:

We ended up within Woltria, or at least I believed it was Woltria. The entire landscape was covered in purple crystals, and the buildings were wrapped up in black tendrils.

X closed the portal the moment that he exited it. The admin let out a shaky breath, " It'll know where we went... I... I have a feelin'..... We need to get somewhere safe and dark." he mumbled.

I scanned around and pointed towards a building by the gate. The door was cracked open just enough for us to slip inside. Everyone nodded and hurried towards the home. Tango used his fire to burn away the tendrils, so the door could open more.

I went inside first with Mumbo and Rik behind me. Rik looked like he was about to black out again. The stumpt member was making slurred mumbles as he patted at his arms. He wheezed and closed his eyes again.

Mumbo let out a sigh as he calmly held Rik's sleeping form. I shook my head as Tango entered the home. The ooze was surprisingly not inside the house, but it did look like a scuffle happened in here.

The bookshelves were overturn, papers were spread out everywhere, and a faint scent of blood was in the air. It wasn't enough to bug me, but anyone could tell that it was there.

When the others entered, Tango got the door closed. He and X worked on closing all the windows in the downstairs and upstairs area. Mumbo and I worked on putting Rik down on the couch. Rik made a tired noise as he curled up on the couch.

X and Tango came downstairs as Tango shifted back to normal. His tail twitched, " All windows and doors are locked and closed. We should be safe." he muttered as he walked over to a window and sat on the ground. The hermit had his sword beside it.

" I'll be the first to be on watch." Tango crossed his arms. X sat down on the floor next to Netty. He turned on a lamp and casted some green admin magic on it. He casted it on all of us.

I leaned forward and tilted my head, " What's the magic for, X?" I questioned as I turned my robotic eye's glow off. X looked towards me as he finished off the magic, " You said that the thing can see us. I casted some magic, so we can be invisible to it for a couple of hours."

Mumbo frowned, " How many?" he questioned in a low voice as put gently put a blanket that he took from X's base around Rik. X sighed, " Twelve at most. At least, I'd say six and a half." he took off his helmet and laid it at his side.

Mumbo, Netty, and I looked at each other. The three of us frowned, " What do we do now?" I questioned as I shivered slightly. X let out another sigh, " Our best bet for finding everyone is heading up to the castle. " his shoulders drooped.

Netty's tail curled around her legs as she brought them up to her chest. The hybrid frowned, " That's dangerous though! We'd be sittin' duckies if we go out there." she pointed out. X let out another sigh as he looked up towards the window. He gave us a sad nod, " I know.... We... We don't really have a choice though..."

 Everyone looked down.

X had a point. We don't really have much of a choice in what we did. I mean, well, okay, I don't mean anything. We have one choice.

 Save the others.

We're just a small bunch of men and a woman. One of us is too weak to move on his own, and we're facing the unknown. Well, we know what were facing.

A monster that has our friends forcibly fused into one entity. An entity that is powerful and can track us down.

It is also very rude, but that's the whole point of it being the villian. I looked up at Mumbo as he frowned at me. The hermit was about to speak, but Tango silenced us all. He raised his hand as red magic forced its way over Mumbo's mouth.

I held the now panicking hermit as I looked over at Tango. The demon motioned for me to come to the window. X came over and continued to calm Mumbo down as Netty joined him.

My whole body was shaking as I approached the window. My eye so turned off, so my motor skills were a bit wobbly. I really needed to train myself to walk with it off.

I looked through the window and immediately ducked down.

The Evolutionists.

The four men that had gone missing. All of them covered in the darkened ooze that the creature had dripping down its body. This ooze wrapped around Mini, Zee, Solidarity, and Martyn like some sort of twisted collar.

Mini looked the most corrupted. One of his arms were covered in the strange ooze. It formed a long claw that dragged on the ground. His eyes reflected the creatures, swirling with the rainbow color.

Zee had the ooze covering his face. He was fidgety and trying to pull away from Mini. The Evolutionist had a bloody had, and he seemed the most hurt out of the four men.

Solidarity had multiple spikes breaking through his skin. The spikes poking out of his skull were bloody. His eyes were the same as Mini's eyes.

Martyn looked the least corrupted out of the four. His eyes were swirling with blues and reds. The tree-controller had ooze covering his mouth. If I had to guess, he was probably still himself....

Tango had dropped the curtain, and the two of us crawled over to the others. All the lights, except X's and Tango's glowing eyes were off.

We were waiting in silence as the mind controlled versions of our friends stalked outside.
