Snoozing the alarm, she opens her eyes while snuggling Reyansh to her chest. Adjusting to the brightness her eyes lands on the clock showing 7am. Diverting her gaze back from the clock she turns her head around and looks down at her son who snuggles into her chest. Her lips curves into a smile.

Her eyes also landed on her husband who was sleeping bare chest hugging Aadhira to his chest. Untangling herself from Reyansh who stirs in sleep and immediately hugs Aadhira turning his body making Avni's heart content witnessing their love.

Sitting up resting her head against the headboard she leans over and caressing Reyansh and Aadhira's  head and dropping a kiss she climbs down the bed and walks to Neil's side.

She sat on the edge of bed and raising her hand she start to her fingers into his hair. She look at him who stirs in sleep while wrapping his free hand around Reyansh.  Bending down she kissed his head and climbs down the bed heading to washroom.

It's been a whole month since she had been going back to office. In this whole month she had hectic time in office and hardly gets a time to spend with the family. She had been handling the office by herself in absence of Nandini, Mukti and Alya.

Nandini had taken by few months off from work. Mukti was in pairs for a show that she couldn't attend due to personal commitments and Alya was on her honeymoon.

Leaving a note for Neil she quickly got ready and grabbing her phone and glancing towards bed where her loved ones were peacefully sleeping. Her heart was dying to stay back and be with them but she couldn't neglect her work.

Kissing their cheek lastly and pulling the duvet over she walks out of the room.

Neil flicks his eyes opens when he felt small hands roaming around his back. He tilts his head and took glimpse of his kids who was sitting either side of bed and trying to wake him up. He holds his chuckle and holding their wrist pulls them over him his body.

The twins landed on his stomach and starts out laughing jumping on him. Neil smiles and holding their wrists stops them from jumping. He sits up and pulls them on his side and kissed their cheek.

Neil: good morning to my precious angels. Did you sleep well?

Reyansh and Aadhira simply nodded their head and giggles making him chuckle. They starts pulling with Neil whereas Neil's landed on empty side of his. He deeply sighs and didn't take any second to realise where his wife might be.

He stretched his hand out to grab his phone when the note caught his attention. He took the note and his phone and looking at the twins who stopped playing looks at Neil with sad expression noticing their mother wasn't with them.

Neil knew it had been very hard to his angels to adjust without their mother. It's not that Avni was neglecting them but the twins got very less time with Avni. He pulls them in hug and read the note.

" good morning Neil, I know reading my note you have woken up. My apologies isn't enough but at least I can apologies to my angels who carves for my love and attention. I'm sorry Neil. I had to rush back to office. I know you understand me but I feel so guilty leaving everything on you. I'll try my best to come back by afternoon. I had meeting that's why I had attend otherwise I was supposed to be home with you and our angels. I'm sorry. Please tell them I love them. I love you so much Neil.
I'll see you in the afternoon.

Neil chuckles reading the note and keeping the note safely in the drawer looks down at his angles who was looking sad. He sighs and starts to tickle and the whole was filled with their laughters and their eyes filled with tears due to constant laugh.

Neil stops laughing and Aadhira climbs on his back and Reyansh holding Neil's hand looks at him. Neil smiles at them and headed to washroom to freshen up.

Reyansh sneaks out of washroom just in a towel and giggles as he starts running around the room. Neil shaking his head comes out of washroom holding Aadhira in his arms.

He first got Aadhira ready then ran behind Reyansh who was on a mission to trouble Neil today. Neil got hold of Reyansh and carrying him on his back walks to bed and threw Reyansh on bed who rolls on his stomach and laughs out looking at Neil frustrated face.

Neil : there is no way I'm letting you run away again Ansh. You have troubled me enough. Be a good boy and get ready otherwise I will complain your momma.

He stops laughing and immediately sits up and gripped his shirt making Neil chuckle. It was hard task for Neil to get the twins ready. Leaving the twins alone in the room Neil also went to washroom and freshened up.

Holding their hands they comes downs and looks at Bebe and swetha who was sitting in living room watching tv. Reyansh and Aadhira leaving Neil's hand ran to them and starts calling their name out.

Neil shook his head and sits beside Bebe wishing them good morning.

Swetha : what do you guys to have for breakfast? I haven't prepared anything yet. I thought to ask what you guys would prefer to eat.

Neil : mom. I'm not fuss about to have for breakfast. Please make anything you like or want.

Bebe also nodded her head agreeing to Neil whereas the twins had another plan. They glanced each other before looking at their father who wasn't paying attention on them.

Aadhira: papa.. cake.. cupcakes... ice cream..

Aadhira's words caught Neil's attention who turns around and looks at the twins who teamed up against Neil and kept chanting to for dessert for breakfast. Neil shook his head and moving to them crouched down cupping their cheeks.

Neil : princess you can't just eat those for breakfast. Your mother will kill me if she finds this.

Reyansh : no.. papa please..

Neil : okay. How about we make a deal? We will bake in afternoon but for that you have to eat breakfast made by Dadi? Agree?

Reyansh and Aadhira looks at each other first then at Neil nodding their head. Neil smiles and kissing their cheek went back to his seat.

As promised by Neil in the afternoon twins starts screaming about baking sitting with Bebe. Neil who comes down the stairs after ending the call with cabir looks at them and sighs.

He shoves his phone in his pocket and walks to them.

Neil : okay! Stop screaming. We will bake. Stop acting.

Neil shook his head and picks them in his arms and was about to walk away but stopped when he heard Bebe's voice. He turns around and looks at her.

Bebe: are going to take a risk Neil? You do know how much your wife and mom love their kitchen? I don't think this is a good idea Neil.

Neil: I know Bebe but I think I'm ready to risk for my angles.

Bebe smiles and nodded her head turning the tv went to garden whereas Neil walks to kitchen and found swetha doing something.

Neil clears his throat gaining swetha head and got confused seeing him in a kitchen.

Swetha : Neil what are you doing here?

Neil: mom! We are going to bake cupcakes.

Swetha : but Neil! My kitchen. I have just cleaned it.

Neil: mom please. I'll clean it afterwards. I promised them and I can't let them down. I promise I won't mess your kitchen.

Swetha halfhearted nodded her head and finishing what she was doing left the kitchen leaving the trio alone.

Neil making the twins sit on the slab rolls wore apron and looks at the twins who excitedly claps their hands.

Neil took all the ingredients out and kept on the slabs and the twins being lover of chocolates just like their father took the chocolate packet starts matching while watching Neil who was ready to make a batter.

Neil looks at the twins and shook his head seeing chocolate smeared around their mouth. He looks at them and asked who would like to help him.

Neil : who will help papa to make the batter?

They both raised their and shouted. Neil guided them and puts all the ingredients in a bowl and looks at them again to ask to mix.

Neil smiles when Reyansh wanted to mix the mixture. Even Aaadira helped them. Neil kissed their cheek and wipes their mouth to tissue. Their hands and mouths were covered with chocolates.

Neil already preheated the over and getting a tray to place the cupcakes in looks at them. He brought cupcakes cases and puts in a tray.

Aadhira : papa. Pink one..

Neil : here you go princess. You can do it.

They picked their colours of the cupcakes and puts the batter in. Aadhira and Reyansh dipped their fingers in the bowl and starts licking the batter.

Neil chuckles and let them do whatever they wanted. He opens the over and putting the cupcakes in looks at the twins who looked messed up covered in chocolates.

He laughs out and thought to clean them up before his wife arrives home and gets scolding for spoiling them.

Neil starts to the clean kitchen first and getting help the twins who didn't do much but making more mess. Picking them in his arms headed to his room.

He walks to washroom giving them a bath. After changing them they went back downstairs and found their cupcakes ready.

He made them sit on the slab again and wearing a gloves took the cupcakes out and placed it on the counter and warmed them not to touch.

Neil: we will decorate our cupcakes. Now help me decorating them.

Reyansh and Aadhira happily and excitedly cheered and starts helping Neil decorating the cupcakes. They even ate few pieces before Neil could stop them. Neil chuckles and wanted to stop the time and see how happy they are right now.

They were so engrossed decorating their cupcakes didn't realise when Avni comes come and was standing by kitchen entrance and watching them with a smile on her face. Her heart melted seeing them together.

When she arrived home thought to find them living room and playing but she didn't, she frowned and thought where they could. She was about to climb the stairs but stopped when she hears laughter coming from the kitchen. She walks to kitchen and stood by the door watching them.

She even took some picture them and smiling to herself thought to break their moments. She walks inside and hearing footsteps they stopped and turns around finding their mother walking inside.

Reyansh and Aadhira brightly smiles seeing Avni whereas Neil stops and folds his arms against his chest and looks at his wife.

Avni : what is my babies doing? What are you making.

Aadhira : mumma look... cupcakes..

Reyansh: we made cupcakes mumma.. look here.

Avni : wow. My babies are learning to bake. Mumma is so proud of you both. I missed you so much.

Reyansh : we missed you too mumma.

Aaadira : I missed you too mumma.

She smiles looking at their bundles when her eyes falls on Neil who stood there smiling at them. Neil side her hugs and pecks her head gaining sequel from the twins.

Avni : this looks so yummy. I can't wait to eat them. Let mumma freshen up then we will sit together and eat cupcakes.

The twins nodded their head and Avni kissing their cheeks including Neil's went out of kitchen whereas they decided to complete the remaining cupcakes.

Everyone sat back in living room watching tv includes Bebe and swetha and was relishing cupcakes with teas and few others snack.

Avni: wow! I love this. This is so good.

Bebe : it's yummy. I didn't knew we had little chef in our house.

Reyansh and Aadhira smiles munching on their cupcakes while watching cartoons whereas the elders chatted.
