Slumping on the chair, she let deeply sighs out she looks at the girls who joined her sitting around the table. Her foot was aching due to continuously walk past few hours. Her eyes landed on Nandini who placed her head on the table mumbling something under breath.

She lets a chuckle out and looks at Mukti and Alya who leans back on their chair and starts to complain how tired they are. Her heart starts to feel so sorry them but she also needed them when her husband decided to ditch her at last minute of their plan.

She had to call the girls who were fortunate available for the day and was able to join her for the shopping not knowing how miserable it can get. Her thoughts were broken by a phone ring.

Shuffling in her handbag she searched for her phone and taking it out she looks at the caller id and disconnected the call making her phone ring it again.

Nandini lifts her head up and glanced looking at Avni who kept disconnecting the call. She sighs and looks at Mukti and Alya who looked exhausted and was ready to crash on bed.

Nandini : baby doll, who is calling you? Why aren't you answering the call?

Avni looks at her dropping the phone and folds her arms resting it against her chest glaring Nandini who didn't looked away but maintained staring Avni back with straight face.

Avni : why should I answer his call? Did he thought before he decided to ditch for shopping? Look at me right now. I feel so stupid and idiot being mad on him. His shoot is so important more than us. Can you believe it Nandini, he had to go on shoot leaving me some in this mess.

Nandini: baby doll, why are you worrying so much? You have us now. Why don't have something to eat and drink? Once our stomach is full then we will figure something out. We will continue with our shopping afterwards.

Alya and Mukti also agreed with Nandini' words and nodded their head flipping over the menu to see what the order while Avni looks at them and sighs knowing she's hungry too and wants to fill her stomach.

They were shopping for twins whose birthday is coming up. Being a mother Avni wants to have everything perfect for their first birthday. Her plan was thrown a big party for them and was she was going to do the same as she planned.

They ordered their foods and drinks and chatting away planning for the twins birthday party. Her phone pinged up with a message. She took her phone and looks at the message from Neil.

She didn't reply but ignoring his message she kept the phone side and starts talking to the girls. Their foods and drinks arrived and while chatting away they ate their food.

Avni starts sipping her drinks not acknowledging someone's presence behind her. The girls stops eating and looks at Neil who stood behind his wife and lowering himself down placed his lips on her cheek making her startled, she left the drink and gasped turning around and staring Neil angrily.

Pushing the chair she stood up and folding her arms against her chest looks at him who held his ears and muttered a sorry almost melting her anger away but she couldn't forgive him this easy.

Avni : what are you doing here? I didn't invite you. Now tell me why did you come? Neil do you even realise what you did today? You went on shoot ignoring my plans Neil. You could have cancelled your shoot.

Still holding his ears he looks at his wife and shaking his head steps forward cupping her face.

Neil : I'm sorry Jaan. I know I made you upset. I couldn't cancel the shoot Jaan, please try to understand. I would have cancelled it but it wasn't important for me. You know how important this project is for me. I have worked so hard for this project love. I know you're angry but I also know how to make it up to you. I'm really sorry. Please forgive me.

He pulls her in a hug when he noticed gleams of tears blurring across her eyes. Her arms went around his waist and her fist starts hitting his chest angrily and she starts muttering some curses against his chest making him chuckle.

He pecks her head and looks at his sisters who gives him thumbs up and grins looking at the couple patching up. Neil smiles at them breaking the hug and cupping Avni's face again kissed her forehead muttering a sorry.

He pulls the chair beside her and sat down looking at the food. His stomach growing making the girls chuckle. He also giggles and calling the waiter ordered food for himself and also asked the girls if they wanted to eat anything else to which they nodded their head saying to free food was no way they were going to ignore.

Neil shook his head and taking a sip of his wife drink looks at them.

Neil : how's the shopping going on? What did you guys shop?

Nandini : Bhai, you shouldn't be asking about that. It a shame to let you know, we didn't shop anything. Past few hours we just walked through the shops but found nothing good.

Neil : it's alright! Now that I'm here. We will definitely find something good. It my babies birthday so we going to find the best thing for them. Where are the boys? I called them but no one answered my call.

Nandini : mani went to office so he might be busy there.

Alya : I don't know what Dhruv might be doing. He should answered your call Neil.

Mukti : don't even ask about cabir. He must be locked in a kitchen and filling his stomach up.

Everyone laughs out and nodded their head knowing cabir can do this with no doubt. Neil thanks the waiter once their food arrived. They all starts eating while deciding which ship should they go to.

It's been 2 hours since they were roaming around the shops looking for the party  decorations. Neil looks at his wife who didn't looked impressed seeing all these. He knows she wanted perfect for their first birthday.

He softly calls her name out and stops her from walking away with the girls who were walking ahead of them.

Neil : Jaan, you don't have to worry about all these. If you don't like it then we can order online. We have got a week before their first birthday. I know yet want everything perfect. Trust me it will be best and perfect. How about we will look through few shops then head home?

She looks at him and thought for mere seconds before nodding her head understanding he was right. She was getting unnecessary worried and tensed about this all while situation.

Holding Neil's hand they went to few places and looked through. She did like few things and brought it.

Neil offered to drop the girls home first before going to khanna mansion. They were in middle of dropping Alya first then Nandini demanded for ice cream.

Nandini : Neil Bhai, can you please stop the car?

Neil : are you okay baby doll? What happened?

Nandini : I'm okay Bhai. I craving for ice cream. I know this best place for ice cream. Can we please go there?

Neil nodded his head and drove to the ice cream. Everyone ordered their favourite ice cream and sitting back in the car Neil drove the car to Alya house.

He glances at his wife who looks exhausted leaning back on the seat. They were heading back to khanna mansion after dropping Nandini home.

He puts his hand on her thigh making her look at him. She passed him a smile and leans towards him resting her head on his shoulder. He starts caressed her hair while focusing on the road.

He even dropped a peck on her head and quickly looked back on the road.

Neil : you look very tired Jaan. It will take some time to reach home. Do you want to catch some sleep?

She just nodded her head and closed her eyes. He smiles and continues to ruffle his fingers into her hairs.

He stops the car front of their mansion and looks at his wife who's sleeping on his shoulder. He smiles and carefully putting her head against the seat comes out of the car and rushed to her side.

He opens the door and gently scoops her in his arms and glanced the guards asking them to get the bags inside. He carries her inside and could hear laughter.

He knew whose those laughter belongs too. He can't fail to recognise his precious little one's laughter.

He walks inside and looks at swetha who was running behind Reyansh and Aadhira while Bebe laughs sitting on the couch. He shook his head and looking down at his wife who opens her eyes and looks at the scene front of her eyes.

Neil pecking her head puts her down and watched how the Reyansh and Aadhira stops running hearing Bebe's voice when she noticed them.

Reyansh and Aadhira shouting for them ran stumbling on their foot to  Neil and Avni.

Neil picks  Reyansh up while Avni took Aadhira in her arms and looks at her children.

Neil : why are you guys running? Why is mom running behind you?

Reyansh : pa... pa... da..Di

They have learned to speak few words. He cups Neil's face and lowers it down making Neil chuckle and follows what his son doing.

Neil : oh. This is matter.

Neil made a shock after hearing Reyansh who hid himself in Neil's chest.

Neil : mom. What did they do? I don't trust my babies words at all? They might look innocent but I know they are not innocent at all.

Everyone chuckles including Reyansh and Aadhira not understanding they were laughing when his father was taunting them.

Swetha : they refused to take a bath  and go to sleep. They wanted to see you.

Avni : it's okay mom. I'll handle them now. You should rest. I'll give them a bath then make them sleep after feeding them.

Swetha nodded her head and Avni looks at Aadhira who giggles in her arms.

Avni : come on naughty girl. Let's give you both a bath.

Neil also follows his wife giving piggy back to Reyansh to which Aadhira starts crying but Avni didn't let her go to Neil.

Neil was busy spoiling both of them while Avni was being hard of them.
