Flashes of the camera were none stop. Media people were not risking any chances to snap the star couple who were making their appearance front of media after very long time.

Desperately they were waiting for the couple to arrive and soon as the car makes entry in their way, everyone rushed and starts clicking pictures.

The bodyguards comes front and starts block media people ways. Neil glanced through the mirror and looks at the crowds. He turns around and interlocking their hands looks at her who pressed their hand tightly assuring him she will be okay.

Neil smiles and stroking her cheek softly and pecking forehead opens the door of his side and comes waving at the reporters who starts snapping Neil's pictures.

Neil waving his arm at the camera rushed to other side and opens the door. He forward his hand and smiles when he watched his wife fixing herself inside the car and looking at Neil placed her hand in his and comes out.

His hand went around her waist as he closed the door behind her and tucking her hair strands back looks at his wife who was surprised seeing the media coverage going crazy over their appearance.

Her glances over at Neil who gripped her waist so tightly and starts walking inside the venue ignoring the media people.

They both walked inside towards the entrance and made their way to the carpet area where the media people followed them throwing so many random question.

" Neil sir. Look here. Pose here"

" Neil sir, can we can take a picture of you both"

" how are the twins? Where are they? Who is looking after them? Will you show them to media"

Neil sir, ma'am look here. Look here"

" you guys looks so good together"

" sir when is your new movie coming out"

Is it true you don't get along with your new co-actress"

" Avni ma'am, what do you have to say about this"

" are the rumours true about having drift in your relationships"

There are so many questions bombarded towards them. Neil tightly gripping his arm around his wife waist carries on walking ignoring the questions thrown by the media people towards them. 

They stopped and looks at the camera and starts giving their interview. Neil wore white black suite with white inside whereas Avni wore a pastel green saree with neckpiece in her neck and earring. Her hair was tied up in a bun.

They both looked at the camera and smiles brightly answering each question asked by the reporters and posed for few pictures.

They moved inside the venue and starts talking to few people when Avni spotted fab 5 with Nandini making their way towards them.

She nudged Neil's elbow who looks at her with concern and placed his hand on face.

Neil: what happened Jaan? You okay?

Avni : yes! Look there.

Neil follows her gaze and found his friends walking there away, he also didn't fail to notice smirks on Manik and cabir's faces.

Neil shook his head and sighs looking at them then turns his head back to his wife who was smiling staring at them.

Neil : who the hall invited them? Why can't they let us be alone?

She slapped his chest looking at him.

Avni : Neil, why are you being so rude? Is this how you behave with your friends? This isn't very nice of you.

Neil : I'm sorry Jaan but you can't blame me. Have you not noticed how they are always clinging with us? I don't like this anymore.

Avni : they are our friends Neil. We can't turn them away from us. Now stop sulking and behave.

Neil shook his head and putting a fake smile looks at Manik who grins hugging him and whispering Neil's ears making Neil irritated.

Manik : how are you my dear friend? Did you like our surprise?

Neil : fuck you Manik. How can you do this to me?

Neil broke the hug and hardly punched Manik's shoulder and moves to hug Nandini with a smile on his faces.

Nandini: I love your saree doll. You look so beautiful. If I knew you were going to come then I would bragged inside your room and got ready together.

Alya : absolutely doll! I was thinking same but these idiots didn't even tell us that you were going to attend this award show. We are told about Neil coming only.

Mukti : I hate these men's. They lied to us. You look so beautiful. I wish we all got ready at your place.

Avni's heart warmed up hearing  their compliments and looks at her brothers who palmed their faces upon hearing the girls complaining.

Avni : thank you guys. Even I don't know about you guys coming. Neil did you know about them? You didn't tell me.

Neil sighs and wraps his arm around her waist pulling her close and dropping a kiss on her forehead looks at her with a soft smile.

Neil : no love! I didn't knew about them. I got surprised too seeing them. I honestly didn't expected them to attend this award show. But it's okay now. We all are here and let's have some fun.

Avni : yes! You're right Neil. And my favourite girls don't worry about us not dressing up together. We will definitely dress up together some other time.

The girls grinned and jumped hugging Avni tightly. Neil looks at the girls and got worried seeing his wife getting crushed between the girls. He immediately pulls them away and cups Avni's face.

Neil : are you okay Jaan? Girls you will kill my wife like this. Control yourself.

Nandini: sorry Bhai. We couldn't hold our excitement. We are sorry doll.

Avni : it's okay Nandini. I'm okay.

They all starts talking when the announcement were made. They all got seated on their seats and look at the stage where the award show was going to begin.

The two host comes up on stage and started the show. Neil was nominated for best actor of the year.

Neil smiles when his name was called out. He turns looking at his lucky charm and cupping her face kissing her cheek got up fixing his black blazer and climbs the stage.

Neil took the trophy and thanks the person who handed him the trophy. Neil took the mike to thank the audience.

Neil : thank you guys. I'm always grateful and thankful receiving so much love and support from my fans and family. Thank you so much. I really appreciate this. I would like to thank my wife who had been always been so supportive and helpful in my journey. I wouldn't have been standing here without you, love. Thank you so much. I love you.

Neil ended his speech and gives the mike back and was about to walk away when the host holds him back. Neil smiles taking the mike back and looks at the host.

Host : Neil, first of all congratulations on your wedding then behind a parent of the twins. You hid so well man. We never thought in this year we will get so many shock. The whole word was still recovering your wedding announcement then out of nowhere there was news of you being a parent. How does it feel to be married man and a father of two?

Neil smiles and laughs out little before answering the question.

Neil: it feels so unreal. I still can't believe it I'm married man and father of twins. I feel so blessed and privileged to have a family. My wife is the best that I can ever have. And my babies, they are most beautiful and precious souls of my life. I feel great and happy finally having a family of my own. I would cherish them all my whole life.

The host smiles and asked few questions to Neil before moving forward with the show. Neil went back to his seat and looks at his wife whose eyes were filled with fresh tears.

His fingers immediately brushed against her cheeks wiping the tears off. He shook his head and cupping her face kissed her forehead.

Neil : why are you crying Jaan? I don't like seeing you in tears.

Avni : you made me so emotional Neil. I couldn't hold my tears back anymore. Can we please sneak out of here? I just want to hug you so tight.

Neil : I wish we could do that Jaan. It wouldn't look nice if we sneak out of here especially when so many media people are out there watching us.

Avni : how long do we have to be here? When will it be over?

Neil : i believe within few hours.  I'm sure we will figure something Jaan.

She nodded her head and sniffing a little she looks back at the stage where the performance begun. Neil also smiles and turns his gaze at the stage watching the dance performance.

Neil won 3-4 awards and he couldn't be blessed to have such an amazing fans.

Neil tried his way to sneak out when the show almost over. He called his bodyguards and told them to cover up the media people while they will go out. 

Successful they managed to sneak out and were driving back to home when Avni out of sudden demanded to stop the car.

They were on empty roads and Neil confusingly looks at his wife who opens the door and comes out. Neil frowns and thought what happened but nevertheless he also comes out and went to her.

Neil : what happened Jaan? Why did you tell me stop the car middle of nowhere?

Avni : Neil, I don't want to go home? I don't feel like going home. Can we please grab ice cream and sit somewhere spending some quality time?

Neil looks so surprised but his body immediately was pressed against hers as he pushed her against the car and smashed his lips against hers making her shock but eventually she responded back with same passion and determination.

Neil bitting her lips final leaves her and cupping her face strokes her face.

Neil : I love you so much Jaan. Did I forget to mention how stunning you look love?

She smiles and wraps her arms around his neck pulling her closer.

Avni : I love you too Neil. I heard millions times and I could never get enough of hearing from you.

Neil : I would never stop complimenting you Jaan.

He rested his head against and mutters.

Neil : I was dying to kiss you the moment I saw you walking out of washroom dressing a saree. I would have taken my kiss there but then we were getting late. This kiss way better than what I thought.

She smiles and pecks his lips gently making him smile and kissing her back. He broke the kiss and holding her hands looks  at her.

Neil : where do you want to go Jaan? I love this lovely place which I recently discovered. You will love this place. Shall we go there?

She nodded her head and kissing his cheek rushed back inside the room. Neil chuckles and rubbing his cheek rushed back to his seat and drove away to this ice cream place.
