Four months,

The alarm goes up, Neil flickers his opens before shutting it again. He pulls his wife closer to his chest and nuzzled his face into her hair. He groans in sleep as the alarm rings again disturbing his sleep.

He heard her small mumbled in sleepy voice.

Avni : Neil, turn off the alarm. I want to sleep. Turn it off.

She winched in sheep while snuggling into his chest. He opens his eyes and tilts his body up holding his wife in his eyes and garbs his phone turning the alarm up. His eyes widen as he stares his phone seeing the time. He groans throwing his phone on bed and and falls down back on bed.

He looks at his wife who was asleep. He raised his hand up and removes hair strands from her face getting clear view of his beautiful wife.  He strokes her cheek, he smiles and moving closer kissed her cheek.

His eyes fell on her stomach. He sneaks his hand under her top and gently caressed her stomach. He withdrew his hand back and looking at his wife he pecks her stomach. He quietly untangles himself from her grip and gets down the bed.

He went to washroom to fresh. As she felt his absence her eyes flicks open. She soft yawns looking at the empty side of the bed. She sighs sitting up against the headboard. She garbs her phone and looks at the time.

Closing her phone and plugging on charging along with Neil's phone she climbs down bed and ties her hair up in a bun and starts walking towards balcony.

Holding the rails she leans forwards and closed her eyes feeling the cold breeze hitting her face. Inhaling the fresh air she opens her eyes and folds her arms against her chest looking the view.

Feeling his presence behind she leans back against his chest and holds the rail. Her encircles his arm around her stomach gently.

He drops a kiss on her shoulder and nuzzled his face into her neck making her giggle. Neil also smiles still nuzzling his face.

He stops nuzzling his beards and dropping a kiss on her shoulder softly whispers.

Neil : good morning Jaan. How come you're standing here?

Avni : good morning Neil! I wanted to have some fresh air.

Neil : hmm! Why don't you fresh up so we can continue with our morning routines?

She turns around looking at him and nods her head. Kissing his cheek she walks back inside the room and went to washroom whereas Neil follows her back in the room.

He quickly got changed into simple t-shirt and joggers. He puts his shoes on and grabbing his phone from the side table walks out of the room. 

He rushed into kitchen and opening the fridge took some fresh fruits out. He washed the fruits then grabbing a chopping board and a knife, he sliced the fruits down.

He took a container and puts all the fruits inside. He closed the lid and fills two bottle of water. He cleans the mess before grabbing the container and the bottle of water with him and walks out of the kitchen.

He placed it on coffee table in living hall and slumps himself down couch waiting for his wife to arrive. He took his phone out and starts scrolling through his social media. He smiles seeing so many fan edits for works. He was proud seeing all of them.

He even liked some of them. He looks up from his phone hearing a footsteps. He smiles brightly seeing his wife who climbs down the stairs dressed in leggings and baggy t-shirt of his. He shut his phone and stand up forwarding his hand towards as she got close to him.

He kissed back of her hand and cupping her face kissed her forehead. Shoving his phone in his pocket he took the container and bottle in his hands and starts walking in the garden.

He made everything arranged in the garden. He made her sit on yoga mat and opening the container passed it to her. He also sat beside her and gestures her to have some fruits while he does some stretching.

Making face and not wanting to have fruits she watched him who starts doing some exercises. His one glare made her sigh and rolling her eyes at him she starts eating the fruits.

Neil smiles as she finished half the fruits and kept aside. He joins her on mat and looks at her who was ready to do some stretching.

Neil : are you ready Jaan? Slowly lift up your arms and stretch them.

She nodded her head and follows his instructions. This was their normal routine. They woke up and spend at least an hour or two to do some exercise. Neil would be always be with her. He wouldn't let her do it alone. If he wasn't present then someone else would be with her.

Completing their exercise Neil helped her walk back their room. Neil made her sit on bed while he went to fresh up and also getting shower ready for her.

Neil comes out of washroom and found Avni lying down on bed. He smiles and walks towards her calling her name out.

Neil : Jaan, have you fallen asleep?

Hearing his voice, she sits up and looks at him.

Avni : no! Can I go now? I feel horrible in sweat.

Neil nodded his head and helps her reaching to washroom. Though she would have managed everything but Neil have overprotective after the incident happened two weeks ago.

She almost tripped over the stairs. He wasn't there but when he find out he was furious and scolding her very much. From that day he had even staying home and goes out when there is urgently. He had been very careful with her.

Neil getting ready went downstairs. He found Prakash sitting in living hall reading a newspaper. He would her Bebe praying in the temple.

He greets his father sitting beside him. He hook his phone out and calls Manik.

Manik : hello Neil! You called the wrong number bro?

Neil : hello Manik malthora. I do know who I have called. Get your lazy ass from the bed and bring everyone to khanna mansion. I have planned something in the evening.

Manik : I really want curse you Neil but I can't because of my sister. I'll be there with the rest. Go and fuck up somewhere Neil.

Neil chuckles hearing him and looks at Prakash who looks at him weirdly. He shook his head.

Neil : if I were, I would watch my mouth Manik. I bet you don't your sister to find what you just said. Do you?

Manik : shut up! Cut the damn phone and let me sleep. I'll handle my sister.

Neil laughs out ending the call and looks at Prakash who closed the newspaper turning at him.

Prakash: what do you want to say Neil?

Neil : how did you know I was going to ask you something? Never mind though. Are you going office?

Prakash: yes! I should be back by 8pm. Why? What have you planned with your friends?

Neil : I was wondering to have family night out. It's been ages. And I have also noticed how Avni really misses everyone. This would great opportunity to see them. Please dad try to come home on time.

Prakash: is there something you need help with? I can stay home and help you out? I can ask my pa to handle in my absence.

Neil: no dad! You don't have to do that. I just want you to come on time in the evening. Please don't miss your work.

Prakash : don't be silly. I would anything to keep my princess happy. Let me call my Pa.

Prakash stood up and went to call his Pa while Neil also stood up and went to kitchen finding swetha preparing breakfast.

Neil : morning mom! What are you making?

Swetha : morning Neil. It's almost done. I was making something health for Avni. Where is she? Has she woken up?

Neil: yes mom! She would be arriving soon. Mom I have called our friends to come. I was hoping to have family dinner in the night. I need to Metha family too. You don't need to stress about making foods. I'll arrange everything with the boys.

Swetha nodded her head and was happy about the family dinner in the night. Neil kissing cheek walks out of kitchen taking her phone out and calling Neela.

Neela : hello Neil! How are you?

Neil : hello Neela maa, I'm perfectly fine. How are you? I have called you to let you know that we are going to have family dinner together. Please be on time. Avni doesn't know as it will be surprise for her.

Neela :wow! I really missed her. I'll be there bacha.

Neil smiles and talks to her for sometime before ending the call.

Neil walks back inside the living hall and found Bebe and Avni sitting there and talking about something. He sits opposite them messaging Manik about some arrangement for the dinner.

Avni noticing him looks at him and got confused thinking who was he texting. She calls his name out.

Avni: Neil, who are you texting?

Neil looks at her and smiles shaking his head.

Neil : I was scrolling down instagram. There is some memes.

He quickly went on his instagram and found random meme showing her. She sighs and didn't look convinced but didn't question him. She excusing herself went to kitchen to help swetha.

Bebe : why did you lie Neil?

Neil: I didn't lie Bebe!

Bebe :  what's the matter? We know you lied to her.

Neil sighs and rubs his nape looking at Bebe.

Neil : I was messaging Manik about the dinner.

Bebe : dinner? I didn't know anything.

Neil : I was about to tell you bebe. We are having dinner with everyone. I was messaging Manik to get some stuff.

Bebe nodded his head. Neil shook his head and smiles thinking about his family.

Her mind was so confused. She was wondering what was happening. She was getting ready and unaware of the plan. She flinched when a warm hands wrapped around her stomach.

She sighed in a relief seeing Neil through the mirror. She leans back and looks at him.

Neil : did I scare you Jaan? I'm sorry.

He pecks side of her head and caressed her stomach softly.

Avni : are we expecting a guest or are we going out? Neil I didn't the suspense. Please tell me.

Neil : we are definitely not going out but there is a surprise for you Jaan. I'll tell you very soon. Quickly get ready then you get to see your surprise.

She looks at him and pushing him lightly turns around.

Avni : I'm ready. Let's go!

Neil shook his head and eyes her down. She follows his gaze and looks embarrassed finding herself in bathrobe.

Neil : do you wish to go like this Jaan? I really don't mind it thought but I would also not appreciate anyone looking like this.

She blushed and slapping his chest shouts at him for distracting her.

Neil chuckles and sitting on bed waits while she gets ready.

He stand up as she approached towards him and looks very excited about the surprise.

Neil kissed her forehead and holding her hands walks out of the room. They slowly climbs down the stairs and Neil withdrew his hand back and palms her eyes making her shock.

Avni : Neil what are you doing?

Neil: shush Jaan, you will love it. Just walk. I have got you.

She nods her head and starts walking Neil.. Neil removes his palm and hid himself. Avni opens her eyes feeling no noise and not feeling his presence. She looks around and got worried not finding him.

She jumped in surprise when all of sudden everyone screamed. The lights comes on revealing the whole family. Her eyes blurs up with the tears.

Her eyes went on Neil who walks towards her mouthing a sorry. She vigorously shook her head in tears and crashed into his arms when he get closer.

Avni : I love you so much Neil.

She softly whispers. He smiles and kissed her head.

Neil : I love you too Jaan.

He broke the hug and Avni smiles looking at them. She hugs everyone and looks at her husband who was the reason of her happiness.
