One month,

He slumps sitting down on the chair and grabs a bottle of water before taking a sip. He holds the bottle in his left hand and looks at the time. He was dying to finish his shoot and rush back home to his wife who needs him the most.

He sighs looking at the team still shooting another sequence of their upcoming film. His eyes moves to his co- actress  who gets up walking towards him.

He shifts his chair as he watched her scooted closer to him. He passed her a smile and took his phone out pretending to be busy.

He looks up hearing her voice and took another sip of water looking away from her. He looks back again at her who looked desperate for his attention.

Neil : do you want to say anything? You would been staring at me like a idiot.

She smiles and chuckles at him and opens her mouth to say something when the director calls out for Neil. Neil looks at her.

Neil : I'm sorry.  I have to go for my next shot. We will speak later.

She sadly nodded her head and watched him standing up and moving to the director who explained the shot before taking rolling the camera and giving thumbs to Neil who smiles getting into action.

Neil shooting his scene and the director announcing pack up to everyone Neil excusing himself walks to his vanity room. He was engrossed on his phone didn't acknowledge his Co- actress following him.

He looks away from his phone holding into the knob he opens the door and was about to enter when he heard a voice from behind. He turns around and looks at her.

Neil : were you following you? Do you have something to say?

She looks at him fiddling with her fingers, she wasn't able to voice out the words. Neil looks at her.

Neil: Neha, what happened? You can speak out. I won't say anything.

Neha: I didn't know. How do I ask you Neil?

Neil chuckles and shook his head how nervous this girl looks front of him.

Neil : you don't need to fear Neha. What do you want to say?

Neha taking a deep breath and closing her eyes calming herself opens it again looking at Neil.

Neha: i want ask you. If we would. I mean can we go out for lunch or dinner.. I kinda of wanna spend some times with you.

Neil frowns and straightened his posture looking at Neha in shock.

Neil : Neha. Have you not read news or heard anything about my personal life? I'm sorry giving the hopes but I'm not single anymore. I didn't thought or had feeling like you in that way. I'm sorry Neha.

Neha : no Neil! You were taking it all wrong. I didn't mean that way. I just wanted to spend some times with you like a friend. You don't have to if you don't wish to. It's okay.

Neil  starts cursing himself under his breath making himself out of fool. He ruffles his hair and muttering a sorry looks at her.

Neil : I'm sorry. I would love to hang around with you. I'll message about the plan.

Neha smiles and thanking him left from there whereas Neil watched her leaving. Soon as she was out of sight he kicked his foot and winched in pain.

Neil : shit! How would I be so dumb? why did I thought she wanted something from me that way? What will she think of me now?

Neil sighs and taking a deep breath walks into his vanity room and packing his stuff he starts walking to his car. He got inside the car and throwing his bag on the passenger seat and fastening his seatbelt he drove to khanna mansion.

Neil greeting his mom and Bebe who sat in living room and spending some times with them walks to his room. He opens the door and found his wife sitting front of mirror and getting ready.

Their eyes met and Neil passing her a smile placing his stuff on the coffee table walks behind her. He stood behind her and resting his hand on her shoulder he kissed her cheeks making her smile.

Neil smiles standing behind her. She looks at him glancing the time.

Avni : Neil! Will stop staring me? You know staring someone is a bad habit.

Neil chuckles and bending down nuzzled his face into her neck making her breath hitch. His beards starts ticking her skins to which she burst out laughing. Neil chuckles and rubs his cheek against her neck.

Avni : Neil. Please stop it now. It's ticking me.

Kissing her neck he stops rubbing his face and standing few second away he looks at her.

Neil : Jaan, you look absolutely gorgeous. I love you.

Avni : I love you too Neil. You should also change otherwise we will be late. I don't want to be late on our dinner date. You said I could eat whatever I wanted to eat.

Neil pecks side of her head and smiles seeing his wife happy and excited about their dinner date. Neil planned a dinner date after such long time. He had to take some time out from his hectic schedule to plan this dinner date. He knew today would work out well as he finished his shooting early.

Neil : I'll shower up Jaan. Can you please select my clothes. I'll be very quick.

She nodded her head and Neil muttering a small thank you went to washroom to shower up.

She gets up after wearing a bracelet around her left wrist that Neil gifted her next day when she announced her pregnancy to Neil.

Opening the closet she looks through what would suit him more better and she wanted him to match with her own attire. She smiles eyeing white shirt and grey trousers.

She took it out and placed it on bed. Moving back to coffee table, she placed his bag on the side.

Sitting down against the headboard, she took her phone and find Nandini's message. She replies Nandini placing her phone door as she heard washroom click.

Neil ruffling his wet hair and a towel around his waist comes out and smiles looking at his wife who got up walking towards him.

Neil : how was your day Jaan? I didn't even get a chance to call you. I'm so sorry.

Avni tiptoes and ran her fingers into his wet hair.

Avni : you didn't need to say sorry Neil. I know you would be busy shooting. I did some sketching and rested well. Mom wouldn't let me step out of my bed because of someone's strictly told her to baby sit me.

Neil chuckles and pecks her head while getting dressed. Neil turns around looking at his wife whose cheeks were red. He giggles and grabs his phone and wallet shoving into his trouser pocket.

He forwards  his hand with a smile and look at her. She returns the smile placing her hand in his after grabbing her phone and a purse.

They both walks down the stairs and found Bebe watching tv. Bebe noticed them and lowers the volume.

Bebe : are you both going out? You look gorgeous Avni beta.

Avni : thank you Bebe! Yes we are going out. Is mom in kitchen?

Swetha : I heard it. You both can go and enjoy.

Swetha spoke coming out of the kitchen. They smiled at her and bidding bye walks out.

Neil opens the door and gesture her to get in. Smiling at him she gets in and puts her seatbelt on. Neil jogs onto his side settled himself down.

Neil starts driving while turning the radio. He glances at her whose hair flew in the air due to the wind as the window was rolled down.

Neil : Jaan. You know what happened today?

He thought to share it because he felt it was stupid of him thinking something like that. She looks at him gesturing what happened.

He then narrates to her the conversation he had with Neha. She burst out laughing holding her stomach.

Avni : oh my! My stomach hurts Neil. Mr Husband not everyone is obsessed with you.

Neil : oh hello! Millions of fans are dying to marry me. Where are you dreaming Jaan?

She slaps his biceps and glares him. Neil chuckles and got quiet driving to the restaurant.

Avni : how did I fall love with you? Sometimes I don't understand you at all. All the times you think about yourself.

Neil looks at her taking the left.

Neil : because I'm hot and difficult resist sweethearts. No one can avoid my charms.

Avni rolls her eyes and wraps her arms around her stomach feeling cold breeze hitting her skin. Neil noticed that and Neil closed the window.

They both comes out of the car and starts walking inside through the backdoor. . Neil had booked a private room for themselves. He had spoken to manager beforehand who was waiting for their arrival on the entrance.

Exchanged greeting they moves to their table and Neil pulls a chair for Neil. She smiles brightly taking her seat. Neil sat down and flicks through the menu.

Neil : what would you like to order Jaan?

Neil looks up and found his wife eyes glued on the menu. He chuckles and calls her name out and she comes out her dreamy land looking at him.

Neil: what would you like to have? Do you have any preference Jaan?

Avni : i do! Looking at the menu, I feel like ordering everything. My mouth is watering seeing so much choices. They all look so good and delicious to eat. I'm so confused what to order.

Neil : it's okay Jaan. We can order whatever you want eat. Shall we order beverages first?

She nods her head and got back to reading the menu. Neil chuckles and calling the waiter orders the beverages.

Neil amusingly watched his wife being so interest picking what to eat.

Their drinks arrived. They sipped on their drinks after giving the food order. Neil rubs hind fingers on her hand that were on the table.

Neil pecks back of her hand and smiles. He even took his phone out capturing the moments of theirs.

The food arrived and Avni couldn't wait to dig in. She didn't even wait Neil and digs in. Neil shook his head and felt most happiest man on the earth seeing his wife so happy. He also serving himself ate his dinner.
