Neil unlocking the main door enters inside. He took his shoes up and holding his jacket in one hand and in other hand holding his phone walks through the corridor coming into living room.

He frowns not finding anyone in the mansion. His eyes roams around the room hoping to notice his wife who hasn't been doing well since last few days.

He might have been hectic busy with his shoot but hasn't failed notice her how she doesn't look well.

He hasn't got a chance to ask her regarding her health. He has been taking care of him whenever he got time, he would call his mom or Bebe asking regarding Avni's health. He would even speak to Avni over the phone but being beside her and taking care of her while she is not well is that he misses and felt guilty neglecting her health.

Neil thought where his parents and Bebe might have gone. He dials his father number while climbing upstairs heading towards his room.

Neil : hello dad!

Prakash : hello Neil! Did you reach home?

Neil : yes dad! Where are you guys?

Prakash: we have come out, we will be back by midnight. Avni beta wasn't feeling well so she's resting. We didn't disturb her. Your food is ready and kept in fridge. Warm it up and eat. Okay.

Neil : okay dad! Have fun!

Neil ended the call and shoving his phone got hold of knob twisting it to open the door but stops hearing his wife voice from behind.

He turns around and got surprised seeing her. His gazed turns looking down at her and smiles lightly.

He cups her face pecking her forehead.

Neil : wasn't you supposed to rest Jaan? Why are you out of bed?

Avni : Neil don't scold me now! I was resting all day.

Neil : sorry Jaan! I won't scold you. Did you have dinner?

Avni : no! I was waiting for you so we could eat together. Please fresh up then we will have dinner together. I'll arrange dinner for us.

Neil nodded his head and was turn around when shs stops him. He confusingly looks at her.

Neil : what happened Jaan?

Avni : you can't go inside. I have got everything arranged in the guest. Please go and freshen up there.

Neil frowns but nevertheless walks towards the guest room. Neil opens the door and turning the light on his eyes landed on bed where his clothes were kept.

He smiles and making his way to bed kept his bag and jacket. He ruffles his hair and taking his towel he walks to washroom.

His eyes widen as he looks at the washroom decoration in very romantic way. His eyes fell on bathtub where the bathtub was filled with water and roses petted.  It smelled so good.

His heart flutters seeing his wife sweet gesture. He hangs up the towel and undressing himself he steps inside the bathtub and relaxed.

He wraps a towel around his waist and ruffling his wet hair he walks out of washroom moving back in the room.

He walks to bed and got dressed in white shirt and black trousers. While getting dressed he wondered what could be so special that his wife is showering him so much care and love.

He shook his head and walks out of the room. He walks to their room and holds the knob again to open it but stopped hearing her voice.

He turns around and smiles looking at her who looks stunning wearing a red dress. He moves closer and cupping her face placed a kiss on her forehead.

Neil : beautiful Jaan! Am I missing something? I mean...

She placed a finger on his lips shushing him. He looks at her.

Avni : don't a say word Neil. I have a surprise for you.

His eyes widen and thought he definitely missed something. Avni removes her finger and covers his eyes startled him little.

Neil : sweetheart, what are you doing?

Avni : shush Neil! You will love the surprise. Just enjoy it.

Neil smiles as she opens the door and enters inside with him. She unclamp her hand off from his eyes and stood behind him closer to him.

She tiptoes and whispers softly into his ears.

Avni : love, slowly opens your eyes.

He smiles and slowly opens his eyes only to gasp and looks stunned seeing their room decorated with flowers and fairy lights.

He smiles brightly when he felt her back hugging him. He placed his hand over hers. She broke the hug and comes front of him.

Neil : how did you this do Jaan? And you can't lie I am being dumb right now? There is something important and special I'm forgetting but I can't remember. What is it Jaan? My head is pounding hard trying to remember our special days.

Her heart beams in happiness and satisfaction when she heard him. She tiptoes and cupping his face placed a kiss on his forehead making him smile wider.

Avni : happy 2 anniversary love. I love you so much. You're the best husband I can ever ask for her.

His eyes widen and looks so shocked not remembering his second year marriage anniversary. She chuckles at his expression and slaps his shoulder.

Neil : how can I forget about? I should have remembered this. I'm so sorry Jaan. It slipped out of my head.

Avni : I ain't complaining Neil. You wouldn't always remember everything. It's okay. Plus either I plan or you plan it means the same thing right. You don't need to feel guilty about that.

He pulls her in hug and drops a kiss on her head.

Neil : happy anniversary wifey, Jaan. I fucking love you so much.

He pecks her head head again and tightens the hug. After sometime Avni broke the hug and looks at him.

Avni : do you want your gift? I have got you something very special?

Neil : a gift! I don't even brought you a gift. I feel so stupid right now.

Avni : I don't need any gifts from you Neil. You gave the best gift I could ever ask.

Neil got confused but nevertheless watched his wife who returns back holding a box in her hand wrapped up so cutely. His heart melted seeing the box in her hand.

She hands him the box and looks at him with tears brimming in her eyes. Holding her tears back she gestures him to open the gift.

He nodded his head and slowly opens the box. He frowns seeing the gift inside. He looks at her then back inside the box. He took the paper out and read the note loudly his eyes fixed on his wife.

" papa, I'm coming".

The note fall down from his hand as he stares his wife in shock. His eyes landed on her stomach.

Neil : is it true Jaan?

Her lips bobbled up and nods her head softly. He drops down on to his knees placing his hand on her stomach.

Neil : we are having a baby. You're pregnant Jaan.

His eyes glints up with tears. He rubs her hand around her waist before he placed a kiss on her stomach.

Neil : how did you find out? When?

Avni : a week ago. Do you remember our girls night out? I found out that night. Then I went to doctor next day confirming it. Neil we are pregnant. Are you happy?

A tear escaped down his eyes as he stares at her stomach with so much love and adoration.

Neil : now, I understand why you wanted me to pick you up late.

She sheepish smiles running her fingers in his hair. He stood up planted another kiss on her stomach. He cups her face.

Neil : thank you so much Jaan. You gave me the biggest and most wonderful reason to smile. I love you both so much. I can't wait to hold our little one. I love you so much. I would never forget this moment. You made me so much happy and blessed.

Avni : I love you too Neil. Thank you for everything Neil.

Neil smiles and pecks her forehead.

Avni: come, we should have dinner then sleep.

Neil nodded his head and follows her into balcony where she planned and arranged dinner date. He smiles and pulls a chair and get sued her to sit,

Neil : let me do the rest Jaan.

She smiles sitting down and holds his hand.

Neil serves her while pulling his chair closer to her. They began to eat while talking about their new journey.

Avni : how do you want to tell the family?

Neil : let's arrange lunch with them then we can announce it to them.

She nodded her head agreeing to him. He rubs her back as she starts coughing. He fills a glass and made her drink it.

Neil : eat slowly Jaan. No one snatch the food.

Avni : sorry Neil!

It was so bliss moment for them to cherish. Finishing up the dinner under moonlight Neil gently scoops his wife in his arms and walks inside the room.

He placed her on the bed and hovers her while staring deeply into her eyes.

Neil dims the light and looking at his wife placed a kiss on her forehead.

Neil : will it be safe Jaan?

He didn't wanted to hurt her or their baby. She shook her heads and gave him the permission to process ahead. Neil smiles and gently placed his lips on hers.

He broke the kiss and strokes her cheek and softly whispers.

Neil : I love you Jaan.

Avni : I love you too Neil.
