' Avni Metha has met with an horrific accident.'

Avni's accident had been reached to Media who has been blocking the entrance of the hospital gate to get update of Avni's health.

Media people have been starts making rumours that won't even true worrying the family who was already devastated seeing their precious avni lying on hospital bed and fighting for her life.

Sobbing were heard in the hospital corridor as the women of the family hugging their partners cried for avni and prayed for her health.

Manik snaps his head as he heard name being called out. He broke the hug from Nandini and looks at Prakash.

Manik : dad. Police is already investigating the accident.

Prakash: I know that Manik. I worried for Neil.. he is still unaware of Avni's accident. I need you to bring him here. Earlier he told me, he had some meeting with a producer. Can you please get him here?

Manik placing his hand on Prakash's shoulder and giving him nod moves to exits of the hospital but stopped seeing the big crowd of media. He took the phone out and dialled the security team.

Manik ending  the call moves to the exist. As he came in sight of the media, they starts bombarded Manik with questions. Manik not answering them takes his pace and moves from there.

Manik takes a deep breath as he sat in the car and drove to the destination where Neil was. He dials Neil's number but it went unanswered.

Manik angrily bangs his hand on the steering wheel and increasing the speed drove the car in full speed.

Manik coming out of the act ran inside and asking for the directions found where Neil was having meeting with producer.

Manik pushing the door enters and saw Neil there. Manik wanting to waste any time March to Neil and holding his wrist drags him out of the room ignoring Neil protest.

Neil : Manik, what are you doing? Why are you pulling me like this? What the hell is your problem Manik? For god sake answer me.

Manik opens the passenger side door and glares Neil.

Manik : I don't have time for this Neil. Get inside the car. 

Neil : what has happened? Why did you come here?

Manik : Neil just get inside the car before I push in.

Neil shaking his head gets inside the car. Neil didn't failed to notice Manik's eyed that were red and tears were dried. An uneasy feeling erupted in his body.

Manik getting in the car starts the engine and drove to hospital.

Neil : can you tell what happened Manik? You're making me worried. Is Nandini fine? Is she okay?

Manik glances at Neil then back at the road.

Manik : Neil you have to be strong... avni is in hospital.

Neil's ears went deaf as he heard just the two world ' hospital and Avni'. His heart broke into zillions pieces as Manik's voice echoed in his eardrums.

Neil's body stiffen and numb. Neil's eyes starts getting watery as the realisations hits him.

Neil's mouth dried up. He couldn't mutter a word or felt himself there.

Manik stops the car at the hospital and stares at the crowd.

Manik shaking Neil's shoulder.

Manik : media is all over the hospital.. you need to follow me Neil..

Neil was not in his sense. He couldn't hear what Manik said. His mind was occupied with avni. He felt his own breath uneven, his heart beating faster and many thoughts running on his mind. 

Manik knowing Neil's pain opens his side and holding his wrist took him inside the hospital with another entry where his guards were securing the place preventing any media to come there.

Neil numbly follows Manik and let his tear escape down his eyes as he stood front of the OT room.

Neil stares avni through the glass and saw her lifeless lying on hospital bed. His heart broke seeing her life that. He has always dreamed to see her happy and smiling not like this.

Neil closed his eyes and recalls their moments. His eyes teary up as Avni's smiling face appeared in front of him.

Neil knew he had to be strong for his Jaan, she wouldn't like seeing all broken. Neil composing himself and wiping his own tears off looks at his family who was there.

Neil licking his lips and biting his own lips looks at them before muttering which was audibly to everyone.

Neil : how did this happen?

Manik who stood next to Neil placed his hand on Neil's shoulder which made Neil look at Manik.

Manik : she got hit by a truck...fortunately a couple found avni there and called us.

Neil thought for a minute before removing Manik's hand and taking his phone out and calling someone.

Neil : where the hell are you? I need you right now in the hospital.. I don't bloody care about where you are.

Neil ends the call and comes back to Manik.

Neil : what did the police say? Any updates?

Manik: they said avni tried turning the car. The breaks were failed.. also the truck driver is found but dead.

Neil: this wasn't accident Manik.. it was attempt murder. The target wasn't Avni but me.. this accident was for me...

All of them gasped as they heard Neil.

Manik : how? Why would they try to kill you Neil?

Neil : I have many enemy Manik.. someone purposely failed the car brake knowing it was my car.someone watching all my actions.. unfortunately Avni took the car today. Manik I need you to come with me.

Manik nods his head and follows Neil. Neil was about to leave but stopped as he saw police approaching towards them.

Police officer: mr malthora you need to come with us to police station. We have found someone who is linked with Avni's accident.

Neil : i will come with you officer.. Manik I need you to go khanna mansion and check the ctv cameras and find the evidence.

Manik nodded his head and went out of the hospital while Neil follows police officers.

As they went out media people starts snapping at them and starts asking them questions. Police men's pushing them left the hospital with Neil.

In a dark room three people watched their boss breaking everything and screaming.

Boss : how could this happen? Neil khanna why? How did you let this happen? I will kill you Neil.. I will kill you Neil.

Men 1 : sir.. your hand is bleeding..

The boss turns head around and walks to the men and held his  collar.

Boss : I want Neil khanna dead.. did you get me? Get me updates about avni.. I want her alive.. she can't die because of your foolish.. Why didn't you tell me Neil wasn't in the car..

Men : sorry sir.. I thought it was him who took the car..

The boss angrily left his collar and looks at the room state.

Boss : clean the room and you two follow me..

Neil sat beside avni who was still unconscious. She was out of danger. Neil held Avni's hand and kissed her forehead.

Neil : wake up wifey. How long you will torture me? I can't see you like this..

A tear rolls down and fell on Avni's hand.. Neil stares avni and caresses her cheek.

Neil : Jaan, you need to get up now.. you can't be sleeping.. Please Jaan opens your eyes.. for me please get up.

Neil broke down as he hugged her and cried. Neil felt a hand on his  shoulder and breaking the hug he looks behind him and saw Neela..

Neil hugs Neela and cried.

Neil : maa tell her to get up now.. how long will she sleep like this? I can't see her like this.. maa.. tell her to get up.

Neela runs her fingers into Neil's hair and softly calls his name out.

Neela : Neil! You need to be strong.. she will get bacha.. you need to keep yourself in sane. You can't break like this.

Neil : I can't be strong maa seeing her like this.. it breaks a lot seeing her like this.

Neela : Neil you need to go home and rest. Everyone left. You should to. I will stay here.

Neil broke the hug and looks at Neela.

Neil : no maa! I won't go leaving Avni here. You should go home and rest. I'll stay here.

Neela tried convincing Neil but Neil didn't listen to her. She sighs and kissing Avni's head and saying take care to Neil left the room.

Neil looks back at avni and starts caressing her hair. Neil moves back as heard the doctor who came to check on avni.

Neil: doctor when will she get her conscious back?

Doctor : as I said before she is out of danger but because of her head injury it can take a day to get conscious back. Let see by tomorrow morning she gets her conscious back.

Neil nods his head and let the doctor check avni last time before they left.

Neil stayed whole night up and watched his love lying on the bed unconsciously.

New day, new morning and new hope.

Neil tried his best to not fall sleep but failed miserably. Neil closed his eyes an hour ago before someone came and woke him up.

Neil jerkingly opens his eyes and his eyes widen as he stares Manik.

Manik : I need to tell you something Neil.

Neil : gosh! You scared me monster. What is it?

Manik : pretty serious.. before that do you someone called vidyut?

Neil frowns and tried recalling someone called vidyut.

Neil : ahh... I don't know.. I can't remember it.

Manik : try to remember that name Neil...

Neil : why? I really can't remember it.

Manik: police found out that one of his men watched you past few weeks.. the ctv camera of khanna mansion showed him.. police knew the man as he was caught many times by the police and knew who he worked for. Do you remember anything related to vidyut.

Neil : vidyut.. what is his surname?

Manik : vidyut pandit..

Neil : I remember know... he was boy in my college but how is that related to this..

Manik : did he have enemy with you? Or  did you guys have hate war in between.

Neil: I don't think so... we are never crossed each other during college times.. what else did the police say?

Manik : they are investigating vidyut and trying to locate his location because evidence is against him only.

Neil : I don't get it why would vidyut try to harm avni or me.. It doesn't make sense Manik.

Manik : it could various reason Neil.. you are famous and many people are jealous of your fames.. it could be possible.

Neil thought for moment and looks at Manik.

Neil : Manik I think it could be right.. keep updating me..

Manik: what did doctor say about avni?

Neil : because of her head injury, they are unsure when she will get her conscious back.

Manik nods his head and left from there.

Neil took his phone out and called someone.

Neil: I'm sending you a name. I want every single details about this person in an hour.

Neil ended the call and moves to bed to see avni moving lightly. His eyes shines up as his happiness had no boundaries..

Avni : Ne....il... Neil..

Avni muttering Neil's name tried moving her body but couldn't because of all the pain kicked in. Neil sat on the stool and held Avni's hand..

Neil : Jaan.. open yours eyes..

Avni opens her eyes and looks at Neil with small smile playing on her lips.

Neil : thank god.. you woke up.. are you feeling any pain?

Avni : my whole body hurts like hell...

Neil : I will get the doctor..

Neil ran out of the room to get the doctor.
