Everyone rushed at the last minute to see the arrangement of the showtime of the biggest fashion show. Many others fashion designers with their team arrived at the place where the show was held.

The security was tightened as many famous people would be attending the show. The guards were kept on the main entrance and back for the safety.

The showtime would be starting exact at 8pm. The manager of the venue and his team arrived before and starts checking the security before the guests start arriving the earliest 7pm.

All the fashion designer was escorted in the rooms with their teams.

Nervous and worried was can be told any single person who would walk into the room where Avni and her team were having the conversation.

Avni with the girls starts preparing the models who were going to walk on the stage showing the designs that they have made for the year.

Avni : everyone starts getting ready as we are running out of  time.

All the models nodding their head picks the dress label of their name and moves to get change.

As the models went away Nandini slowly wraps her arm around Avni's shoulder pulling in her side hug.

Nandini : we will rock it baby.. it's going to be best for sure. Don't be nervous.

Avni tried smiling but couldn't because her mind was still not in a state to think anything else rather than the show.

Avni simply gave a nod to Nandini. Mukti and Alya getting make up kit starts getting the models make done as they out ready in the outfit.

Nandini also starts helping mukti and Alya. Avni stood in the middle of room helping others models who needed help with their hair.

All the models were ready expect few of them. Avni and Nandini called by the manager before the show begins. Mukti and Alya also excusing themselves went to check the arrangement outside leaving the models to get ready themselves.

The earliest 7pm most guest and many celebrities arrived after getting checked by the guards.

A big car stopped followed by another two. Guards ran to the car and opened the door. In first car Neil comes out of the room and gives his famous attitude while fixing his blazer.

Neil giving a look to the guard starts walking inside. He was also checked by the security team to which Neil followed the policy and went inside once he was checked by them.

As Neil walks inside Manik, khanna and Metha family, cabir and dhruv also got checked,

Neil eyes roamed around the venue and proudness glints into his eyes. His eyes stops seeing Nandini who noticed Neil. Neil smiles and made his way to Nandini.

Neil smiles at Nandini as she waved her hand to him.

Nandini : hey Bhai!

Neil : hey baby doll.. how's the preparation?

Nandini : what do you think Bhai?

Neil giggles but still pretends to look around before staring Nandini.

Neil : well.. I think it's going to be best..

Nandini: it has to be Bhai.. our team has worked their ass off especially avni...

Neil's eyes shined up hearing Avni's name.

Neil : where is she? Can I meet her before the show begins?

Nandini : she is with the manager.. but I can escort you to the back door..

Neil : it's fine if she is busy baby.. I'll meet her later.

Nandini: I can take you there.

Neil shook his head and rubs his nape as he heard someone's foot near them. They both turns their head and sighed in relief seeing Manik with grin on his face.

Neil shook his head.

Neil : you look stupid with the grin on your face.

Manik rolls his eyes and blowed a flying kiss to Nandini making Neil moving away from them.

Neil shoving his hands in his trousers pockets made his way to others starts who were gathered in a group.

Neil shakes his hands with them before wrapping a hand around one of the man's shoulder same age as his.

Neil : long time no seen mister?

The men smirks before removing Neil's arm off him.

Man  : shouldn't I have saying that to you Mr khanna?

Neil rolls his eyes and gave small nudge on his elbow gaining his attention again.

Neil : why so moody? Didn't get lay by anyone?

The man grits his teeth and glares Neil.

Man : shut up the fuck off Neil.

Neil chuckles before pulling him into tight hug.

Neil : how are you monkey boy?

The man broke the hug and tried punching Neil's face but stopped as he saw someone approaching behind Neil.

He gives a look to Neil who was waiting for the punch.

Man : you got saved by the luck Neil..

He gives a final look to Neil before walking off leaving Neil to shake his head.

Neil ( mind) bastard didn't punch me  for that shit.

As he saw the bastard approaching to the girl.

Avni walks in the room and glances at the models who were ready now.

Avni : we got this.. it will start soon.

All the models smiles at avni.

The spotlight fell on the stage as the host walks with smile playing on the lips along with soft music being played as background.

Everyone was seated around the stage. The first five roses were reserved by the VIP guests. Neil and his family were sitting in second row of the left side.

The host starts off welcoming everyone to the show.

Host : I the host welcome  you all to the year of fashion designers show. We appreciate your presence tonight.  I Especially want to thank you stars who has taken time out of their busy schedule and attending the show on our special request.

The host in a minute announced the first team who would be showing their designs.

There was five teams in total. Avni's team is supposed to be the last to show their designs.

Everyone claps as the show started. Judges gave the points on each designer and at the end of each team performance asked some questions to the leader of the team regarding the designs.

At last Avni's team was called up.. each models came up on the stage flaunting their design..

At the last avni made the entry with her beautiful smile which caught everyone's attention. She wore off shoulder dress. Her long hair open at the back.. Nandini, Alya and mukti also made entry right after avni.

Avni held the  mike and stares in front of her. Neil's smiles widely and his heart was filled with proudness seeing his wife on the stage. His eyes were filled with tears but he didn't the tears flow down the eyes. His smile grew bigger as he watched her confidently answering the questions thrown by the judges. His heart swells of happiness and proudness seeing avni achieving what she deserves with her hard work.

Neil stares his wife who for once didn't gaze down or fumbled answering any questions.

All the teams were called up on the stage to announce who the winner of the year.

Avni still had smile playing her lips. She diverts her gaze and looks at the audience to see her family smiling. Her eyes fell on Neil who gave secretly gave her thumbs up. By looking into his eyes she can see the proudness flowing in his eyes, even her heart felt content seeing those proudness in his eyes.

The host clears his throat and calls the judges on the stage.

One of judges took the mike and spoke.

Judge : before processing ahead or announcing the winner I would like to call few people on the stage.

The judges trails off calling people name which happen to be the people from VIP. A last name was called making Avni's eyes snap at the person who gets up from the seat and with the attitude walks up the stage..

The judges smiles at the people who got on the stage including Neil himself.

The judges looks at each other before announcing the winner...

The judges : the winner is.... Any guess...

The judges spoke together making the audience shout name of the designer they think might win in their perspective.

The judges smiles seeing the audience shouting their designers name..

The judges: the winner is....... Miss Avni's Metha team...

All the audience smiles and clapped for the Avni and her team.. meanwhile avni sighed a breath and smiles. She looks at Neil who was smiling looking at the front..

A girl with the trophy comes on the stage and passes it to the judge.

The judge : I request Mr Neil khanna to present the trophy to Miss Metha.

Neil smiles and takes the trophy from the judge and walks to avni..

He hands his the trophy to avni.

Neil : congratulations miss...

He smiles and forward his hand for an handshake. Avni thanking him shook her hand with him.

Neil moves back to his place and watch judges announcing the runner up...

Neil gets down the stages but stopped when he was surrounded by some media people.. they stopped him.

Reporter : sir... what is your next project?

Reporter 2: Neil sir did you come here to support your friend Avni?

Reporter 3 : Neil is it true that you and Manik parting away?

They reporters threw so many questions that Neil answering few of them excused himself away from them.

Neil follows to find his family but couldn't... he noticed avni walking someone to which Neil looked around if someone is watching. Seeing no one is watching him Neil sneaked away and follows avni to the room where she was heading...

Neil grabs Avni's hand and pulls her to an corner clasping her mouth...

Neil took his hand off her mouth and watched avni sigh.

Avni : Neil what was that for?

Neil : Jaan.. please.. I needed to have an word with you... I didn't get to see you since last night..

Avni : Neil the media people is here... they will find about us... what will we do then?

Neil : leave that to me Jaan..

He said pressing his lips to her forehead making her smile.

Neil : when will you be free?

Avni : it will take me another hour..

Neil : can't you leave all these and come with me.

Avni shook her head making Neil rest his head on her shoulder.

Avni : Neil.. Neil what are you doing?

Neil lifts his face up and looks at avni.

Neil : what do you think Jaan?

Avni : Neil.. we can't... sneak.. it will create problems for you..

Neil didn't respond but placed his finger on her lips making her eyes widen.. he got closer to her and smirks as he watched her eyes almost popping out..

Neil placed a kiss corner of her mouth making avni blush.. Neil stares her red face before cupping them and placing  another kiss on her forehead.

Neil : I love you Jaan.. you have no idea what I felt inside seeing you on the stage .. you made me so much proud... I can see myself as your husband.. I am so proud of you Jaan..

Avni smiles brightly and wraps her arms around his waist.. Neil smiles and caressed her long hair.

The silence was a sign of an storm

Neil breaking the hug and entwining  their hands Neil made way out of the venue secretly without getting caught.. not getting caught was Neil's though but did he knew an storm was already one step closer to him and his family.

Nandini looks for avni in the venue but not finding her got worried... she found Manik talking to some guests. She walks to him and taps his shoulder.

Manik turns around and saw Nandini. Manik excusing himself from the guests looks at Nandini.

Manik : why are you worrying baby? What's wrong?

Nandini : avni is missing.. I can't find her..

Manik also got worried for a minute.. his phone beep with message at the same time.. he took his phone out and saw Neil's message..

Manik : baby.. baby doll is not missing but kidnapped..

Nandini freaks out hearing Manik.

Nandini: what? Who kidnapped her? The security was tight... how is that possible? Where is Bhai? He will get so worried once he finds out? Mani do something...

Manik : baby calm down...

Nandini: mani you can't calm me down... avni is kidnapped... I'm going to find Bhai..

Nandini worriedly takes a step to move but stopped as Manik held her hand.

Manik : Mrs malthora you need fo calm down... baby doll is definitely kidnapped but not any stranger but your idiotic brother...

Nandini: huh? What? Come again!

Manik sighs and saw his phone to Nandini.. Nandini..

Nandini: I'm not going to leave him... he gave me heart attack almost..

Manik : that's why he is idiot.. stupid boy..

Nandini : mani how did they get out of here?

Manik : magical baby.. Neil khanna knows how to play hide and seek.

Nandini nodded her head and turns around upon hearing name being called out.

Nandini : I have to go mani... I'll see you around.

Manik nodding his head and pecking her head let's her go.
