In the 1980's show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (I started ranting here so if you scroll down and see a bunch of words and parentheses, that's me) James Avery, who also played Will's uncle in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, played Shredder or Oroku Saki

(The comics were way better.....)(Honestly Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird didn't even like the show! Look it up!) (So many changes should have been made! The writers wanted to make changes!) (The show was so weird and confusing, in season 9 and forward they threw Shredder and Kranng out the window and introduced weirdos like H.A.V.O.C and Lord Dregg! What the heck did they introduce Carter for? He had no purpose in that show but for himself. Kranng and Shredder literally fell down a hole in the floor. THAT IS HOW THEY DIED! And that "double mutations rubbish" [Yes I'm an American who says rubbish don't judge] what was up with that? At least that offered a little character growth...but did it deliver?!?!?! NOOOOOO!)
I don't know, maybe it's cause I wasn't a 90s kid.
