Chapter 6

It was so dark and musty down below.
Elizabeth blinked, her ocular sensors flickering to life after a few years of disuse. She, along with the other children imprisoned in this labyrinth of pitch-blackness and rust, had grown sick and tired of failing miserably at discovering an exit.
Kyle had managed to find an escape route once, but the workers had discovered him. They had locked him in the break room, with no means of contacting the others. Rumor had it that he had gone crazy in there, and would often have long-winded discussions that strangely were quite intelligent with the AI inside the BonBon hand puppet.
Tessie had uncovered an alternate route and had managed to escape the facility with the Bonnet AI as well as Kylie. They had seemingly disappeared without a trace, and everyone prayed that they had escaped safely.
It was too dark down here. Elizabeth didn't weep, however. Crying your metaphorical eyes out wouldn't solve the problem at hand, now would it? She slumped against the stage, feeling strangely drowsy. Suddenly, those annoying, neon stage lights flared to life, the disgusting shades of red and green seeming to punch her in the face. Snarling, she ripped off her own arm and hurled it at the ceiling blindly, managing to shatter a few of them. Then, the familiar sensation of being electrocuted flowed through her system once more, forcing her into stage mode.
Shit.
(Welp I replaced the old chapter with this one because I hated it. Enjoy!)
