Chapter 20
(5 years later)
Akumu sighed, kicking his legs against the desk in his office. Playing the role of a depressed, middle-aged man was draining. Popping a lollipop into his mouth, he kicked against the desk, sending him and his wheely chair into the wall behind him. Giggling, he pushed himself back to his desk right before Henry stormed into the room, his face having an emotion that, like all others, had been lost to him.
"Will," Henry said, struggling to hold back his tears. "W-were you the reason that...my daughter Charlotte disappeared all those years ago?"
Akumu was taken aback by the question at first, yet maintained his composure. "Sorry Hen, I had nothing to do with her death. She was quite the beautiful lass, I'll admit that."
Henry sighed, relieved. "Thank heaven you weren't! I mean, you suffered far more than I did, friend."
Akumu nodded, becoming bored with this current interaction. "Yeah Hen...I miss them sometimes. Elizabeth...Chris...M-I mean Rachelle. They meant the world to me."
Henry leaned and gave the husk of his friend a quick embrace. "Don't worry Will. You've got me. We'll be together until the end, right?"
"Right on!" Akumu exclaimed, faking excitement.
Henry smiled and left the room. Once he reached his office, his face took on one of grim determination. Turning on his monitor, he opened up the surveillance feed of his "friend's" office.
"You haven't called me " Hen" since Charlotte was alive...and yet you've reverted to calling me the name that I cry inside hearing." Henry fiddled with the pen on his desk, clicking it nervously. "What happened to you, old friend?"

(6 hours later~ 3 hours before the night shift)
Akumu did a final sweep of the rooms, having wiped and cleaned out the insides of the old mascots in an attempt to cleanse them of William's sins. Sighing to himself, he prepared to leave the building.
Until...
"Hello?"
Akumu whirled around, point in his flashlight towards the source of the noise that only he could hear.
"Can you hear me?"
Akumu nodded, gritting his teeth. He started back in away, only to stumble and fall. As his head collided with the tile floor, an adrenaline rush pumped into his body's veins.
"Please don't go! I don't wanna be alone again!"
Akumu took off running, darting towards the only exit to the pizzeria. For the first time since death, he could now feel an emotion screaming at his brain.
Fear.
Ominous laughs and giggles trapped him in a cage of darkness.
Akumu attempted to vault over a table, only to crash to the floor. As he rubbed the blood from the back of his head, the giggles swarmed him, prevention him from escaping.
"W-WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Akumu shouted, his past self beginning to leak out of his mental prison. "J-J-JUST LET ME GO! I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG!"
Suddenly, the giggles ceased. In their place, a small child appeared, an aura of hatred encasing her.
"You killed me, Will."
Akumu then blacked out from blood loss, his body twitching before becoming still.
