Zeref

I was unaware of what Natsu had said. But then , I remembered it. I told Natsu that there is something that the rewriter of E.N.D, would have, but never thought it would be something so dramatic for him to bear. 

I sighed, unknowing of what to do in the moment, considering of what type a big brother I was to him. 

That was when someone came to me, as to my greatest discovery , it was no other than Mavis. 

"Mavis." I said, to her, as the First Master came towards me, as she looks at me, with a curious expression onto her face. 

"Zeref, what is wrong?" She asks me. 

I was reticent for a moment then sigh, "It's about E.N.D.  I really thought that nobody would actually can read the ancient demonic language, but it seems like the impossible did happen. " 

Mavis said, "Well, maybe that it was kind of a big risk that Lucy manage to rewrite E.N.D, just to awaken Natsu, but still ... I don't believe it. " 

"Yeah, me neither. I'm kind of worried about her, as to her natural abilities are."  

"Zeref, it's going to be fine. I know Lucy better than anyone, so does Natsu. Their bond is unbreakable, you know that." 

I smiled at her, "I'm kind of glad that I have someone who can give me mortal support. " 

As to wondering of what price she had to pay for rewriting E.N.D, I decided to look and see for myself as I try to locate her and my little brother. 

Lucy

I just keep running, as fast I possibly can. I really wanted to avoid Natsu, because I couldn't bear of him being sad about me. 

"I'm so sorry, Natsu. I really am stupid of not revealing it to you sooner." I thought in my mind, as I continue running through the streets of Magnolia. 

"Lu!" I heard someone calling for my name, as I continued running as much I possibly can , as to my shock, it was Natsu. 

His red hair was completely wet, due to the rain, as he pants with as if he was running most of the way , just to find me! 

"N-Natsu! What you doing here?" I asked the Dragon Slayer, as he smiled at me, "What you talking about, Lucy? 

You're the one who decided to run away from the guild, and in no shirt whatsoever, that is quite stupid." He said, in a serious tone. 

I really didn't respond to him, considering of how awkward the situation was, as Natsu rubs his head a little as he said, "Here, let's get out the rain first. " 

We found a hub nearby as we dried ourselves off. I was struggling with putting the shirt on, as Natsu surprises me , by walking over to me, and he said, "Here, let me do your hair and shirt on for you." 

"Natsu, I don't want it to be a burden to you." I said, as the Dragon Slayer looks at me, as he starts making a ponytail for me, "Are you kidding? You're never a burden to me, Lu. " 

His actions were incredibly good as I looked at the reflection of myself onto the mirror. 

"Whoa, Natsu. I looked exactly of how we met all those years ago!" I exclaimed , as the Dragon Slayer puts his hands into my shoulders, "That shirt was the one started our journey together, on our first mission as Fairy Tail guildmates. 

Lu, it doesn't matter to me that you lost your arm with rewriting E.N.D.  You done the right thing for me, I was kind of a shock that you didn't mentioned it to me sooner." 

"It's so embarrassing, Natsu! I wouldn't bear of letting anyone know the sacrifice I had to make in order to save you! " 

Natsu said, "It doesn't really matter to me, Lucy! You mean everything to me, and I know that because.... " 

"Because of what?" I ask curiously, wondering of what he was trying to say to me. 

"Because... Because I'm ... I'm in love with you , Lucy!" Natsu confessed. 

"Natsu." I said, as the Dragon Slayer said, "I fell in love with you ever since we were together on that day I met you. 

I never thought of just as a friend, or a guild mate, Lu. " 

He kiss me, as it was in total shock that Natsu Dragneel, the boy who was reborned as a demon by his older brother, kiss me, a celestial wizard! 

It was a long kiss , as I slowly remembered all the adventures we had , together in missions, and how much we have improved since we were in the war with Zeref. 

It never crossed my mind that Natsu kept all the emotion he had of falling in love with me, keep in check all this time, until this very moment. 

As we let go of the kiss, I stared into his eyes , unsure of what to say to the Dragon Slayer. 

Then after a long while, I finally spoke, "Natsu... I don't know what to say." 

"Lu, no matter what, we're together forever. I'll look after you, take care of you and if we have children of own someday, I will never leave your side. It's a promise. "  

His words were so surprising that left me in total speechless, uncertain of what I should say or what to do. 

We didn't say anything to each other that night , as I head back to my house, still thinking about what Natsu said. 

As morning came, I was out of bed, as I was about to put my clothes on, a knock was heard as I said, "Who is it?"

Natsu came in as he notices me , as he said, "Oh, here. Let me do that. I know it's really a bother, of me showing up unexpectly, while you were asleep, so I waited for you to wake up. I also took the liberty of cooking breakfast too. Zeref and Mavis will meet us at the Guild hall later for Zeref's first mission as a Fairy Tail Wizard. We're going to be his mentors for the day." 

I said, "Natsu, you don't have to do all of this for me." 

"I want to, Lucy, so don't try to act tough on me. Happy is still asleep when I left the house, so he'll understand if he saw me with you." 

We ate our food as we entered the guild, Happy went to us, "There you two are! Natsu, you went off without telling me or Zeref you were at Lucy's! 

That's not nice, you know!" 

"Sorry, but Lucy has something to do and she has to say it out loud before we leave for our mission." Natsu said. 

Ezra was confused, "What you saying, Natsu? Lucy is completely fine! I mean, there is nothing she can't handle!" 

"Ezra, there is something you and the other guild members needed to hear from me. Gray was there, so he knows the truth than anyone else. " 

Zeref asks, "What is it? Don't leave us hanging , Lucy." 

"Zeref!" Natsu said, rolling his eyes at his older brother's  impatience, "Let her speak." 

"When I rewrote the Book of E.N.D. , I felt an enormous power flowing inside of me. I was in total pain, as the fire within was unbearable. I felt lucky that Gray was there with me, as he uses his ice power to cool me down. He insisted of saving Natsu together. 

I agreed with him as I continued to rewrite the words, so Natsu can live and defeat Zeref. But there was indeed a price to the effect of rewriting the book. " 

I was scared of telling , but looking at Natsu's eyes, he encouraged me to continue my speech. 

"I .. I lost my left arm because of rewriting E.N.D. I can't summon any celestial spirits anymore or use my magic. " 

Zeref walks up to me, as he hugs me in total sympathy about the price I had to pay. 

"Anki." Natsu said, in total shock and amazement of seeing his older brother like that. 

Zeref

I couldn't believe it. I was so in shock of it. I never imagine of the pain she must've been through to do the impossible thing . 

"I'm so sorry, Lucy. I didn't mean for you to lose your ability as a celestial wizard. I feel terrible about this." I apologized to her. 

Lucy said, "It was my decision, Zeref. You don't have to apologize for it. I kept it as a secret for quite some time now. " 

"But I was the one who wrote E.N.D. in the first place! I should've done something to help you , Lucy." 

Natsu said, walking up to us, "Anki, there is nothing we can do. It's already been done and besides, you weren't yourself when we fought here in the guildhall. " 

I hate to admit it, but Natsu was completely honest about it. It's like he knew of how dangerous it was been , and he has been living in the guild longer than me. 

His world is brand new to me, and I have to accept it. 

"Natsu.. is this why you ran out last night, to talk to Lucy about it? " 

The two guild mates looked at each other as they were stunned of how I known that. 

"How you do know about that, Zeref?" Lucy asks curiously as the guild was looking at me with curious eyes. 

I was totally embarrassed, as I rubbed my head, "I kind of saw you last night, and overheard you guys talking." 

Natsu was first to react, "What the hell?!? Anki, that's not cool! You saw everything?!? Even ... with ... " 

I smiled a bit, with Mavis by my side, as Natsu was blushing of how I was spying over them in total secrecy.

The throng suddenly cheers. 

Erza said , "Finally. I never doubt it that Lucy had feelings for Natsu, but Natsu himself, that's quite a shock." 

Gray pats Natsu on the head, "I knew you were meant to be together! Congratz, man!"  

Natsu said, getting annoyed by Gray's attitude, "Get off, man! It's too weird that you would do that to me , out of everyone in Fairy Tail! " 

I laughed, "Natsu, it's all right. You don't have to be ashamed, besides, Lucy , you shouldn't be ashamed either..

I'm so sorry that this happen to you. I mean, I never wanted my little brother to be sad, due to my actions." 

"Anki, c'mon, don't say that. We will get through with this together, no matter what it takes. " 

I smiled as Lucy fell into Natsu's shoulder, "So, what we do now?"

"Now, let's go for a quest! " Natsu declare as we fell in collapse of the Dragon Fire Slayer's attitude. 

"Well, Natsu's all fired up as usual." Happy said, as I glanced at Mavis. "Do you want to join us, Mavis?"

"Of course i would, I will go anywhere with you, Zeref." The first Master said, as we go further into the unknown.
