Lucy

It has been three weeks since Zeref woken up from his injures. Was rewriting the fate of the Contradiction a good thing for the Fairy Tail guild?

As I was in hall, thinking about it, Lisanna came towards me. "Hey, you feeling all right, Lucy? You seemed a little down." 

I looked at her. Even though she was in Edolas for two years, she seems to be more relaxed and calmer than her older siblings. 

"It's just thinking about the war, and what I had done for Zeref and Natsu." I replied to the mage, as Lisanna smiles at me. 

"I guess that you're having doubts about doing the right thing, am I right?" She asks, as it really caught me off guard that she can read me like a book. 

"How did you-" I begin to ask her as she giggles, "Lucy. I have been through a lot of things in my life, and I can tell what my friends are feeling . 

I think that Zeref and Natsu would figure things out naturally , so don't worry about a thing." 

I smiled as I saw Mavis, who seems to be distant from the rest of the Fairy Tail members in the crowd. 

I knew that she needed a friend to talk to, so I went to her side to talk to her. 

"Mavis?" I ask, which causes her to be amazed that I wanted to speak with her.

I thought about Zeref. Is it bad that I fell in love with him? Was it wrong to be loved? As I lost in total thought, someone asks me in a concerned , friendly voice, "Mavis?" 

As I look up, it was the celestial wizard . She seems to be concern about me, but why?

"You. You're um..." I said, as she said, "My name is Lucy. You saw me earlier with Natsu the other day. 

You're thinking about Zeref, aren't you? I'm sure that he'll be himself sooner than later, I promise. "  

She seems to be calmer than I thought. It's like she knew what I have been going through, even though we just met in person than being dead.   

"I'm so sorry that I got all of you involved . It's my stupidly. " 

"No, it's not. Remember what we said? Love isn't a sin. You fell in love , knowing that Zeref had the Contradiction Curse. 

It's not your fault, Mavis, either does Zeref's." Lucy said. 

As Lucy seems to be smiling, it seems to me that things got more interesting than let on. 

Was Lucy right?

Natsu

I continue searching for Zeref. How hard can a mage hide from his brother?

I glanced at Happy, "Any luck, Happy?" 

"Sorry, Natsu, I can't find Zeref anywhere. Perhaps he find a way to hide somewhere in Magnolia." 

I sigh, "Awe that's just perfect. All I want is to talk to him." 

"Still looking for Zeref, aren't ya? Hm, considering all the wrong things he has done, you still believe he was good?" 

"Laxus. What a surprise, man." I greeted the Lighting Dragon Slayer. 

Laxus said, "I am still surprise at you, Natsu." 

I didn't understand what he meant at first, but then I realize that he was referring to me turning into E.N.D. 

"Oh." I said, which he still looking straight at me. 

"Listen, I know that Zeref did a lot of things he isn't proud of, I get that. But are you sure that we can trust him?

I mean he literally set a war on our guild, and not to mention at Magnolia. " Laxus points out. 

Zeref

As I walked out , I thought about what Wendy said. "I should thank you, Zeref. Without you making E.N.D. I wouldn't be the person I am today. " 

Was she right? Was it really fate that lead Natsu and I be on separate paths, even though I make things miserable for everyone?

"I really do trust him, Laxus. I mean, he really does deserve a second chance. " I hear an familiar voice. 

I glance from an distant and I see Natsu with his partner. 

"Natsu." I said. 

"We all dealt a lot of things in life, I know that things would never be the same as before, but in all of this mess , I'm not giving up on him, he's my older brother, for crying out loud, and if you want to make a blabbermouth about him, then, take it on me!" 

I couldn't believe it. Natsu is defending me, on my behalf?

"You really don't change haven't you, Natsu?" Laxus said, as he was ready to fight him. 

"I'm still me, even though I found out I'm also E.N.D. So, how about we fight?"

Natsu's friend said, "There's nothing like a brawl you can't resist, can you, Natsu?" 

"Com'on, Happy, this is a fight I need after all this time! Besides... I want to improve my fighting skills and this a great chance to use my E.N.D. powers for good instead of going berserk." 

The way that Natsu say it so calmly, it truly amazes me of how my little brother has changed. 

  As I watched him, he seems happy. When the fight ended, it was Natsu who saw me from that distance. 

"Anki." He said, as we look at one other in silence.
