  I then heard a low mumble that even my hearing didn't pick up. I looked over my shoulder, confusion evident on my face.

"Your name. What is it?"

Young Justice POV- (with a little bit of Conner)

  The team watched as the group of MIB rip-offs surround the kid. 'None of us have our hero suits! What do we do!?' Wally asked over the mindlink. 'I can go in since I basically have my regular hero clothes on' expressed Conner as he boldly jumped into the fray of people. The team was shocked at what had been suggested. By Conner no less.

Just before some agents rushed at the kid, Conner blocked them from charging forward. "Who are you? Leave or we will arrest you for interfering government work." One of the MIB wannabes demand. Conner you need to get out of there! They're lying about arresting you! They plan to experiment on you and the one they call Danny. M'gann informed to Conner. The team watched as the kid jumped in front of Conner, whistling so low the Team barely heard it.

"It was nice that you want to help but if you're not careful you'll end up hurt like me." Conner just stared at the boy giving a slight refusal to back down anytime soon. The Agents pulled out some crystal that vaguely resembles kryptonite. Thus causing the Team to blanch at the sight and Conner to wince. It hurts to even recall the mess that involved that stupid rock.

As they flaunted their weapons, Conner began to shift behind the supposed-to-be-the-victim kid. Ready to jump in front of him and protect him from these loonies. "Cover your ears, now!" The boy whispered. Taking in the deepest breath Conner has ever seen in his life (which was pretty short), he watched with covered ears, the boy released a scream so haunting he shivered. Unless that was the combined ice to it as well. The men were frozen shoulders down, their vehicles flipped, and some weapons were sizzling.

"Hurry, that won't hold for long!" Conner was suddenly being grabbed by his hand and was pulled away from the group. The boy whistling once more. Woof! Woof! A giant green monster dog landed near the two boys. What is that thing!!? Wally yelled in the link. Never mind that, Conner you go ahead. We'll be behind you on the bioship. Aqualad ordered. Gently smiling, The boy pulled Conner closer to him.

"Don't be scared he's really nice!! Just get on before they unthaw themselves, please." Conner watched as the boy leapt onto the dog's back. Once Conner jumped on, the boy called for Cujo to leave. "Go Cujo, fast!" Whoa Conner that Dog is almost as fast as me! Kid Flash yelped in the link. 30 miles away from there in about 4mins . . . amazing.

Still within the city borders, Conner and the kid landed in a remote alleyway. "Stay low and don't do stupid stuff like that next time. I don't want your death on my conscience, heh." As he said that, I could see the hurt and suffering in his eyes. The boy turned to give the dog he called Cujo a treat. Mesmerized by this boy I asked him the only question lingering in my head. He turned his head in confusion.

'Oh, i guess i said that too softly' Conner thought. "You name? What is it?" He continued to stare at me until this playful little smirk filled his face. "You it's rude to ask for someone's name before giving your own," the boy stated, slowly walking towards Conner. "But I might make an exception for you. My name is Danny, thanks for trying to be a hero." Danny then ruffled Conner's hair and before Conner can give his out, Danny disappeared.

"Till next time, mia dolca heroo." (Sp check)

Conner stood there dazed by what just happened. His face lightly covered in a red hue. 'Danny wants to meet again?' A small smile crept up Conner's face before disappearing just as fast as Danny did.

Turning around, Conner was met by the team. "Why are you staring into space?" Asked Artemis. "Yeah, and where's the kid?!" Kid Flash yelled. I looked back to where Danny was standing. "He left."

"You're telling Batman what happened, not me," Robin said.
