I woke up in a forest area, I knew it wasn't where I was before, no signs of nearby civilization or the street lights.
I felt the cold of the night through my jacket, I felt naked freezing as well and than I heard police sirens. The sound got louder and louder till I finally saw the lights, but once I saw them, a black figure came running from the same direction, wearing all black and the night didn't help me see his face. I than quivered in fear once I saw the weapon he held, a sword of some kind, I thought he saw me when he turned and ran straight toward me, he had a mask on. I froze, his eyes seemed to be bleeding, and missing!
He got closer and closer, and my heart beat faster and faster, till he ran right through me, I felt frozen completely once he did, and than it changed to a sharp pain around my entire body, like I was in a needle bed.
I felt my blood freezing in my veins, and soon my heart began to hurt, I tried screaming but even my throat froze, I could barely move, I quickly turned around to where the figure ran and found him.

In my face.

Staring right into my soul.
I heard screams of...so many different people, so many children, I felt so much pain...I couldn't hold in my tears. I felt so brittle. Then, the forest around me turned to a hellish nightmare...the figure disappeared once I blinked...the forest was burning.
I saw children running as fast as they could out of the forest, I heard a baby crying, I ran toward it and it was a baby trying to runaway as well in the direction of the other kids. I ran to it, it turned my way and just as I saw those innocent blue eyes clearly, the smoke started getting to my eyes, and just as I got close to that baby, a tree fell.

On him.

I screamed, and got on my knees, trying to get the burning tree off, but burning myself. I felt someone touch my shoulder.
It was the figure, and it spoke

"You're too late."

I woke up.
