"Are you sure you're okay with this ?"

It's been nearly a week since I've fully recovered from what happened. Since then, we've been in Makai, trying to sort things out. At the moment, I was with Shuichi, moving about because I wanted to see if we could find anything related to Seiji and Kaori. We were all supposed to return to the Human World in a few days, whether they liked it or not. There were some things that needed answers.

"Nee, Shuichi", I mumbled as I clung onto him, "Why do I.. need to be carried on your back ?" He looked down at the city of Gandara. "Because", he replied softly, "You'll be a drag if I don't do this." "But I've recovered, remember ?" "That doesn't mean anything", he mumbled, "From what I can still tell, you still have a small trace of poison in your blood. There was a specific plant that was used to make that poison." I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder. "That's because you decided to bite me again", I huffed. "You even left a bruise on my neck !" Shuichi sighed. He moved towards the edge of the building and peered down. I knew he was going to move again so I slightly tighten my arms around his neck so that I wouldn't fall off. "If you're smart, you'll know what that means." "Nani ?" Shuichi shook his head as he jumped down to another building. "No, nothing", he muttered. I frowned, slightly titling my head to the side. "Jah, if I bit you right now, would you have a reaction ?", I asked. "You do that and I will kill you myself", he replied. I sighed in dismay. "Jah", I mumbled enthusiastically. "I'll keep that in mind for when I'm ready to die." Shuichi chuckled as he turned back towards the base. "Do as you like", was what he said.

When the both of us returned, we were greeted by Azalin. For some reason she was standing outside of the base, all by herself. "Azalin ?", I asked as I got off of Shuichi's back, "What're you doing outside all by yourself ?" She looked towards the base with a nonchalant expression on her face. "Well you see", she replied slowly, "The tension that Izumi-san makes is quite a questionable thing. " "What'd she do ?" A hesitant look appeared on her face. "Was it always like her to provoke ?" Shuichi and I exchanged glances. "Uh well...", I mumbled, "If it's to her amusement, then yes." She sighed and looked up to the sky. "I see." "But why do you-" I was cut off.

"WHY ARE YOU SO IRRITATING !? YOU'RE EVEN WORSE THAN THIS CREEP !!!"

"Hey watch it !"

Shuichi and I reluctantly approached the base and peered through the window. Sara and Ciel were both sitting at the table with somewhat agitated and annoyed looks on their face. Ciel's eyes were closed, probably meaning that she was about ready to snap. Not that far away was Tsukiya, Juuji, and Izumi. Izumi was sitting down on a chair that she had pulled up from the table with a mischievous expression on her face. Standing in front of her, was Tsukiya and Juuji, who seemed to be arguing. "I assume that the yelling was from them ?", I asked. "Probably", Shuichi replied nonchalantly. I turned to look at Azalin who wasn't standing that far away. "I see why she's outside", I mumbled with a reluctant grin. "She made a good choice to do so", he said, beginning to turn and leave. "Ah, wait !", I called out. "Are you gonna leave too ?" He looked over his shoulder. "Do you expect me to stay ?", he asked, somewhat sounding doubtful. "Why would I bother entering in a situation that's like that ?" "Jah, then let me-"

"Nee, do you three really want to see what hell looks like ?"

At the sound of Ciel's voice, I flinched. Her voice sounded so kind that it was scary. Everything got quiet after that point. I motioned Shuichi to walk towards me. And he did. Shortly after, the both of us, including Azalin, went inside to see them all quietly sitting there. Ciel was still sitting at the table, however this time, instead of her eyes being closed and looking as if she were irritated, there was just a cruel smile on her face. Her eyes looked dead and empty as she stared at the three of them. I shivered. How frightening. She didn't even have to scold them or anything. All she had to do was stare. I walked over to Sara, who was watching with a slight interest on her face. "I'm surprised", she said, "Ciel isn't a demon but she's scary enough to make even Tsukiya and Juuji go silent." I slowly nodded my head. "Right.." Ciel huffed and stood up. "What good will it do to be kind if they won't learn a thing ?", she muttered. Sara chuckled as we watched her walk over to the three. Juuji and Tsukiya were cautiously watching her while Izumi was stoically staring. "Nee, Ciel", she said in a bored tone, "Why did you have to ruin my fun ?" Ciel stopped in front of her and moved her hand. I guess I didn't notice but Ciel had something in her hand. She scowled at Izumi. "You haven't changed one bit. At least wait until we return to Ningenkai." Izumi sighed and turned to Tsukiya. "Yes, yes." Tsukiya narrowed his gaze at her. "What do you want", he hissed.

"Darling~" I turned to see Juuji walking over to me with his arms opened. "Ah, Juuji", I mumbled as I waited for him to reach me. "What is it ?" He was about to hug me when someone pulled me back. I looked over my shoulder to see Shuichi's hair. "HEY !", Juuji shouted as he grabbed my hand, "LET GO OF MY HONEY !!!" I could feel one of Shuichi's arms wrap around my waist as he prevented me from going to Juuji. "Get lost", was what he said to him. I reluctantly grinned. Jeez, was he always this blunt ? Juuji smiled at him. "Excuse me", he said very slowly, "But if you could just.." I could hear the irritation slowly begin to swell up in his voice. "No", Shuichi replied nonchalantly. The both of them glared at each other. I could feel Juuji slightly tug on my hand. 

"Hey now", I mumbled as I looked at the both of them, "Don't kill each other.." As you could tell I was currently stuck in between them. I did not appreciate that. "Jah", Juuji replied, "Tell him to stop starting things." Shuichi smirked at him. "You sound like a child", he said. "Shut up", Juuji snapped. I moved around and broke free from the both them. "Don't you remember what I told you guys ?", I said in a scolding manner, "You're supposed to get along, not go at each other like this !" The both of them nonchalantly looked at each other before turning to me. "This is all your fault", they said in unison. My eyes widen in surprise. "WHAT !?" Shuichi looked away and Juuji reluctantly grinned. "What is that supposed to mean !?" Behind me, there were footsteps. "It means that you're just dense", Sara replied as she walked over to my side. "Dense enough to not even realize what they're talking about." "That doesn't make any sense though !" Sara looked at the both of them with a grin. "Heh." From the corner of my eye, I could see Ciel looking our way. She shook her head in dismay and sighed. "Jeez", I heard her say.

"Why am I not surprised ?"
