kill the beast, kill the bird

Children in chairs of metal wood
Come take your beasts to me
I need to protect you
From
    The
           Beast
                   Within
                            The
                                   Fibers

Drag my demons from my child
We need to be forgot
Let us die alone
In our peaceful chairs
Made of peaceful metal wood
Clamping on our skin
Like ties binding us to the earth
Rooted deep within our skin
Antiquated for our youth
Let it sink in...
I like the metallic taste
Of the beasts in our chairs
Let me sit in peace
Before the time runs out
For me
And for you,
My child.
Let us rest in our chairs
They are now far to big to fit us
The floor is where we reside
With our peaceful beasts
Who eat our dreams
And kill our mockingbirds
Let us rest now
In our big metal wood chairs
With our beasts tangled into
Every
Fiber.
