Bianca meeting Hazel
It was a Halloween party, and Bianca nervously got into her costume of a white angel. This was going to be the first time she had gone out into public ever since she had gotten supposedly 'reborn', and she cringed at the thought of accusing words or faces. She had never really gotten over the day when Nico had found out she was still in the Underworld and that she had lied to him. His hurt expressions had broken her heart.
Nico appeared behind her. "Boo," he whispered, and Bianca laughed a bit as she turned to look at him. Most people would have become extremely creeped out if Nico had done that to them, but Bianca didn't even flinch at his words.
"Hey. Are you ready?" Nico asked, hesitatingly. Nico was dressed as a black angel, and he was going to escort her to the Halloween party.
Bianca drew in a deep, shuttering sigh (though she is dead, she can still sigh, and other thinks like that) and said- "Ready as I'll ever be."
Nico held out his arm, and Bianca took it.
It was quite a strange sight, the pale 14 year old boy with dark brown hair and eyes, black wings fluttering behind him, and the transparent 12-year old girl with white wings, who smiled a bit as she passed the campers.
As they entered the Big House, everybody froze.
"Bianca?" A boy with brown hair and sea green eyes stuttered.
It was the sea green eyes that tipped Bianca off that this seventeen year old boy was the boy who she was on a quest with, 4 years ago.
"Hello, Percy," she whispered, and gave a small laugh. "Long time no see, huh?"
A blond girl with gray eyes walked up to Percy- Annabeth. "Didn't..... Didn't you go for rebirth?" she asked.
Nico's grip tightened a bit on Bianca's hand, and it was with that small gesture that she realized Nico would probably never fully forgive her, or at least get over it. The realization broke her heart, but she shook her head and said, "It was a lie. Dad- Dad and I structured it. You see, Nico needed to move on from me and make friends, and if I was still in Elysium, where he could visit me, he wouldn't have. Also, there was the war with Gaea. I needed to disappear, so he would find Hazel, instead, and bring her back to life."
"Me?" squeaked a small, African-American girl in the corner. Her golden eyes were wide with disbelief.
Nico cleared his throat. "Hazel, this is Bianca," he gestured towards Bianca. "Bianca, this is Hazel," he gestured towards the girl.
Bianca smiled. "Pleased to meet you," she said. "I've heard a lot about you."
"I can say the same," Hazel answered, now recovered from her surprise. "So, from what you were saying before, if it weren't for the your lie, I would probably still be in the Fields of Asphodel for the rest of Eternity?"
"No, I'm not saying that, because if Nico had brought me back to life instead of you, Gaea would have been ruling the world right now." Bianca put it plainly.
"Oh," whispered Hazel, a bit awed and extremely shocked. She cleared her throat. "Pleased to meet you, Bianca." She held out her hand.
"You too," smiled Bianca, taking Hazel's hand. Bianca's hand wasn't as cold as Hazel thought it would be, considering she was a ghost. No, it didn't really have a substance, but it spread a warm feeling throughout Hazel when she shook it.
"So..." Nico said, then grinned. "Hit the music, Conner, we've come to dance!"
