Solar's POV

Thorn looks out the window and whimpers, "O-Oh man! I-It's really ra-raining o-outside!" He panics and shuffles under his blanket, whimpering and tugging his hair.

"Thorn, I've got you. Talk to me to keep the storm out of your mind." I whisper and lift the blanket, shuffling under, kiss his nose and run my hand through his hair.

"Everytime there was a storm, I used to cry for Quake and Fang cause it was scary and loud but they were always away doing Tok Aba's job."he whispers, shaking gently against me. I furrowed my eyebrows and kiss his forehead. "Thorn, I'm here. I'm not gonna leave you." I said to him while smiling and wrap my arms around his waist, nuzzling into his hair.

"Thanks Sol, I love you." He mutters and rubs his thumb over my cheek, his eyes fluttering closed softly.

"It's okay Thorny, I love you too. I'm gonna make you my husband someday." I whisper the last part gently and watch him nuzzle into my neck. His quiet snores are so adorable. I caress his cheek, staring at him, "I won't let you be alone again my mini tree." I whispered and kissed his ear, shimmering down before wrapping my arms around his waist again and falling asleep to the sound of his cute mumbles.
