Solar leans back on his chair and yawns, spinning around to see how Thorn was doing. Thorn looked calm, blanket up to his chin, only twitching rarely, Solar smiles and spins back around continuing his homework but suddenly, Thorn's whimpers fill Solar's ears. Solar snaps his head in Thorn's direction and furrows his eyebrows.

The boy who had been sleeping peacefully had gone, Thorn had kicked off the blankets, had clawed to grip something but ended up gripping his arms and had a terrified look in his pale features.

Solar shoots up and practically sprints over to his bed, kneeling beside Thorn and frowning deeper, Thorn had tears running heavily down on his face.

Solar slowly and carefully slides in the bed and grabs Thorn, hugging him tight to his chest.

Thorn lets out a gasp and soon after sobs are follow, "I-I h-had t-the s-same d-dream." He cries, gripping his hair.

Solar placed his hands on Thorn's and shushes him, "It's okay, I'm here." Solar whispered, feeling like crying himself. He just sniffs and holds Thorn tighter.

A few seconds later, Thorn is back to snoring and quiet whimpering. This time, Solar doesn't go back to study, he stays and protects what's his.
