--20 facts on Zao--

1. Zao can sing. Especially Peking opera (Chinese opera that requires very high voices). It is also said that he sings the girls parts so good that you can't tell that there's a difference. (back then women weren't allowed to act so the men took women's roles)

2. He knew from the moment he laid his eyes on Yao that he was to assist and follow him the rest of his life. His first words to Yao was, "I wish to be by your side, forever loyal and never betray you."

3. If you ask him about that event he will promptly flip you off and if he's in a bad mood, slice you in half.

4. The reason for that is he broke that promise, he didn't betray Yao but he couldn't be by Yao the when he needed him most and for that he wants to slap himself every time someone mentions it or when he has too much free time and his mind wanders to that event.

5. He hates Arthur as much as Yao (maybe a bit more) but he's actually on pretty good terms with Oliver.

6. He never snaps but if a trigger was pulled and Yao was within his eyesight he will breakdown and if not brought back to normal he will lose control over his own body and attack anyone that approaches him.

7. The only way to stop his rampage when he snaps is to knock him unconscious somehow.

8. He used to love acting and often slipped away from the palace to join a troupe for a couple weeks. He felt that the acting helped him protect himself. But after the twentieth century he absolutely can't stand it. He's done enough for a lifetime. (read the first 20 facts to get explanation)

9. He and Yao are both computer whiz. They sometimes compete who can hack into America's documents faster.

10. While Yao will eat anything presented, Zao is actually quite the picky eater and has a small appetite too. If Yao had not fed him hawthorn pellets to widen his appetite, he'd probably eat one meal a day and drink tea to "compensate" for the other two meals.

11. Zao refuses to eat the following: Anything milk related, seafood (He will not tolerate any type of seafood), any root veggies (radishes, potatoes, taros you name it), any meat except for mutton, beef, pork or chicken, walnuts, any type of melon except for watermelon (includes pumpkin, squash and couple more weird Chinese melons), anything related to coffee ("reminds him too much of that hamburger eating brat" in Zao's words), scones and cupcakes and anything "weird" (insides of an animal, insects, snakes etc.)

12. He hates animals (except for pandas). Right now he can't decide whether he hates cats more or if he hates snakes more.

13. He knows magic, Taoist magic that is usually used to seal monsters away. He learned with a Taoist magician when he was banished during the Song dynasty.

14. He can be hilarious in dire situations for he doesn't want others to worry for him.

15. He used to love chrysanthemum, but Japan kinda ruined it for him... (Kiku means chrysanthemum in Japanese)

16. His first time crying was when the Opium Wars started, he though that Arthur would bring happiness to Yao but instead he crushed Yao's dignity and destroyed the empire that he and Yao had spent centuries to build. But most of all he knew that this marked the beginning of all the misfortune that he and Yao would have to go through.

17. Even though being a picky eater, but he has one favourite food which is bamboo shoot. He'll often sneak into Yao's bamboo garden (which Yao uses to feed his pandas) and dig some up. Partly because Yao puts extra care into those bamboos and partly just to piss Yao off.

18. He secretly loves bubble tea (even though it has milk in it). But he'll never admit it because apparently it's "for girls". 

19. When he and Yao were younger, he challenged Yao to a duel before Yao cracked the wall with a finger and extorted him smiling that violence can't solve anything. He's inclined to stay a tactician after that.

20. His first time picking up a weapon was during the Northern and Southern dynasties where China was almost wiped from the face of the Earth. But somehow, they managed.

Zao: I hate that admin so much right now...

Me: You still have a dare from him you know?

Zao: Let me go and talk about life with that person

Me: You meant end their life?

Zao: exactly.

Me: Sorry AA if Zao wants to do something really badly even I can't stop him *shrugs*
