Salamu alaikum lovelies. So, I wrote dis chapter earlier cuz I was on a good mood but right now, things have changed, I just lost a family member. Kullu nafsin zaikatul maut, RIP sistor Allah ya jikan ki ya haskaka qabarin ki, ya sa ki iya amsa tambayoyin qabari.Ameen

I started my exams earlier today too, Chai, three papers no be joke, another three to come tomorrow. Enough of my chattering, here's d chappy

KHAIRAT'S POV

I dressed up in a green and yellow blouse and skirt. Tied my headtie and carried my yellow veil I walked out of my room only to come face to face with Ayaan who was all dressed up too

"Are you ready?" He asked and I nodded. We walked to his car, entered it and drove off.

"What are you doing?" I asked when I saw him changing the direction, not to his parents house but somewhere I'm unaware of. He ignored me and kept shot, I shot him a glare before keeping quiet.

He stopped by a park, it was closed. It was dark already and there are no light on here so it's not helping the situation. He got down and walked to my door before opening it waiting for me to come out. I hesitated at first but nevertheless shrugged and walked out.

He held my hand in his before walking into the closed park
We stood in the middle and he turned to me. He closed my eyes with his hand before walking forward a little. He took his hands off and suddenly the light were turned on. The whole place was lit. It was beautiful, the most beautiful thing I've ever seen
I turned to Ayaan who was smiling at me

"What is this?" I asked unable to hide my happiness

"Apology for what I did and said earlier" I jumped and hugged him

"No need to apologise"I whispered and he chuckled before hugging me.

"khairi, I can't promise you that we'll never fight, or argue, but I promise to be there willing and ready to mend us, I can't promise that well never face any problems, but I can promise to be there with you during the hardest moments, I can't promise that I'll never marry again because you know I'm entitled to four wives"he said the last part teasingly and I smacked him on his shoulder

"Try that and you're dead" I replied angrily huffing and he chuckled before continuing

"As I was saying, I can't promise to give you the entire world and its contents but I promise to give you my entire life and it's contents, i can't promise to make you the Queen of the world, but I promise to make you the Queen of my world, I can't promise to spoil you with money even though I have that but I promise to spoil you with endless love, Khairi baby,I promise to love you till my last breath" he concluded and I let the tears flow out of my eyes freely which he wiped with his thumb

"Shhh baby don't cry please, I meant what I said,I love you, always remember that" he said and I smiled

"I love you too Ayaan" I replied before he leaned in and kissed me.

Alhamdullilah, I'm so thankful to Allah for giving me a husband like Ayaan. He always finds a lighten my mood . If 4 months ago, you'd tell me that I'll marry Ayaan and be the most happiest girl in the world, believe me, I would've laughed at you and told you you're insane and delusional.
But now, I can't think of a life without Ayaan, he's my everything. He is always there to apologize to me when he's wrong, or when he's not , or even when its not his fault. He is there for me when I wake up with a terrible headache or when I crave for the most craziest things, surprising right?

We stood there enjoying the view before he spoke

"We better get going or else we're gonna be late"

"Yeah, we should probably go" I replied and we stood up and walked to his car, our hands intertwined, loving every single minute we spend together.

We arrived 5 minutes later. Once the gateman saw Ayaan's car, he hurried and open it

"Sannu da zuwa Alhaji" the old man said

"Yawwa sannu ina yini man bala?" Ayaan asked

"Lahiya " malan bala replied before turning to me

"Sannu da zuwa Hajiya amarya"

"Sannu malan bala" I replied beaming before he drove into the mansion. We got down and walked in hand in hand. Bahi opened the door and hugged me totally ignoring her brother and I stuck my tongue out at him and he murmured something along the line of 'real mature' and walked further to the dinning room which was filled with people. My family, in-laws, Hanifa's family, ruky's family,Maryam's family, Kamal, Salman, Yaqub. We exchanged pleasantries before sitting down on the biggest dinning table I've ever seen. It wasn't the dinning table we used to have dinner on whenever we visit. This was bigger. In fact the whole dinning area was refurnished. I guess this is a big deal. Surprising though, Zahra is here but there's no sign of Ruma, I can so live with that.
I haven't seen Ruma since the whole her wedding with ya usman's travesty. And so far, that made me happier than I already am.

The sweet scent of delicious food hit my nostrils and my mouth was already getting watery,I couldn't wait to taste the food. The house helps put the plates of food on the table. The moment mine was kept in front of me I felt a sense of nausea and I sprinted out of my seat and ran to the nearest toilet with Ayaan following me and everyone stood up worried. I pucked everything I ate. Ayaan stood by my side rubbing soothing circles on my back still worried. I washed my mouth and went out.

"How are you feeling?" Ayaan asked holding my hands in his

"I'm fine, it might just be something I ate earlier but I'm fine Now" I replied

"No, just in case we're going to the doctor right now, this isn't the first time you puke" he said with a firm voice

"It's nothing really, I'm fine" I added walking to the dinning area to avoid where this convo's going.

Mammi and Ammie walked towards me "are you Ok?, what's wrong?"

"Nothing really I'm fine" I replied trying to calm the two women standing in front of me

"My dear, you should go to the hospital" mammi said
"Yes you should" ammie added

"We're going right now" ayaan said from behind and I groaned internally, why are they so worried, I'm a doctor, I know what's wrong with me, and I'm not gonna tell them yet till I'm sure of it, but these people won't let me off the hook.

"Let's go" ayaan said handing me my bag and I collected it before bidding everyone goodbye,

"I think she's pregnant" bahi squealed from the dinning area and I smiled, I hope we're both right.

We drove to the hospital and met my friend, Dr.Saddiqah,she was my Senior at school. She asked me some questions and I answered her.We waited in her office for some minutes before she came in grinning

"Congratulations Ummulkhairi, you're two months pregnant"

"Alhamdullilah!" Ayaan exclaimed before pulling me into a bone crushing hug, I, on the other hand just let the tears of joy flow freely as I grinned.
Afterwards, Dr.Saddiqah gave me some instructions and advice before we left. Ayaan was so happy that he called his parents and mine and told them about the good news simply because I refused to go back to the dinner afterwards cuz I was so tired.

"Baby mama which color suits better?"

"Maman baby what do you think of this shoe?"

"Matar Ayaan do you think we should get the red or blue gown?"

"Adda Khairi, which makeup artist do you think we should get?"

And that's how the girls, ie Maryam,Ruky,Hanifa and bahi kept asking me questions. We are currently sitting in my house at the parlour. We are planning for the girls wedding which is in three weeks time. So we were very busy.

"Girls enough, I'm hungry, let's go get pizza!" I exclaimed and they all squealed happily, and that's how I managed to escape this time, but it only lasted till we ate the pizza. Afterwards, they kept disturbing me with their questions.
