Okay Kaen is DEFINITELY someone I have been working on for a while, and is one of my characters who has gone through the most changes and development. This is also a character I semi-collaborated with a friend on! Well, at least for her story that is.

SPEAKING OF HER STORY! I used to have a book about her on my old account, and oh my god it was trash-But part of me wants to re-write it, especially with the changes I've been making. Should I do that?

Anyways, here she is!

Name: Kaen Saiki/Hakamata, formerly Kaen Yasei

Gender: Female.

Looks: Definitely one of my prettiest Oc's in my opinion. She has long hair that has the colors of a flame, so orange red and bits of yellow all mixed in beautifully, and matching eyes with more yellow in them to make them seem lighter. She usually wears old clothes she gets from donation spots but has been able to afford cleaner clothes to wear ever since she got adopted. Still, she usually just sticks with a plain black hoodie.

Sexuality: Demisexual (Basically she needs to get close to someone before she falls in love with them)

Personality: Rather hot-headed and short tempered, but tries to keep it under control. She can be caring and supportive when needed, but whenever she gets flustered she lights up like a match. Kaen is definitely a glutton due to how she would struggle to get three meals a day.

Backstory: (For context she's a MHA Oc)

On the day she got her quirk, Wildfire defense, her family went out to celebrate. While they were out however, a villain attacked and killed her mother.

Her dad tried his best to provide for his two daughters (Kaen had a order sister named Goru) but because of his work he had no time for things like therapy, so he had practically no way to cope with the loss of his wife. This lead to him drinking.

He was a hurricane of emotions when drunk. Sometimes abusive, taking his rage out on his surroundings and daughters, sometimes a emotional mess that made Kaen sympathize with him for just a moment.

Goru eventually got old enough to start working, and she worked all day and all night to provide for the family. Kaen did her best in school so her sister wouldn't have to worry, but she was still trying to figure out what she could do to help out. She figured that if she got a well paying job, she too could provide for them all. So she focused all her time trying to study, so she could make herself seem like someone worth hiring for a god job.

Now here's the thing about Goru. She had autoimmune disorder, and it was really bad. Due to working so much (and some of the jobs had really sleazy people who couldn't follow simple rules like "no smoking inside") she ended up getting lung cancer. Her dad decided to give up. He said they couldn't afford it, but Kaen said no. They decided to cut a deal. Whatever money Kaen could make, he would put towards Goru's medical bills. Kaen agreed to this, and this her tight schedule of studying and school became even tighter as she tried to work multiple jobs at once.

Eventually when forms were being passed out to enroll at UA, she realized being a pro hero would make her serious money. She signed up, and after the enrollment course, got into class 1-B.

I don't want to explain the rest because I am considering re-writing the original book I had for her, but I'm yet to come to a decision. But if I do, there will be multiple spoilers here and I don't want that so....Ima leave her backstory off here.

•Her quirk works like this: It's like a defense mechanism, meaning whenever she feels in danger or gets angry, she lights up. It used to be just her hands but after a really scary/stressful situation it evolved and now her whole body can light on fire. However the chemical in her body that produces the fire also protects her from it.

•She loves cats, and they tend to like her too due to how warm she is.

•She's a serious glutton. Give her food and she'll love you for life.
