Mudflap was still driving down the desert, to get the human femme in the backseat away from the base and to safety. He was driving far over the speed limits but were there really speed limits in the middle of the desert? “Don’t worry Lil’ Lady, I’m sure it won’t be long before we can head back to base.”

        Clarissa nods and smiles slightly, looking up and at Mudflap’sholoform. “Its fine Mud, I know that as soon as we get the all clear then we’ll be racing back to the base.” She tells him. “You and Skids will probably race back, since everything is a competition to you two.”

        Mudflap laughs and shakes his head, looking forwards at the desert road in front of them. “Of course we’ll race each other, we’re twins. Always have to prove who’s better at what then the other.” He says. “Now, cheer up. You’ll see your family and your two mechs soon enough, Lil’ Lady.”

        She looks at him with a soft smile on her lips, nodding her head at his words. Then she noticed his words, causing her eyes to widen. “Wait, what did you say? My two mechs?” she asks, her voice a slightly higher pitch. “Sunny and Sides aren’t my mechs, they are my friends!”

        Mudflap rolls his eyes and shakes his head, glancing back at the young girl in the backseat. “Yeah right, Clarissa. Those two are overprotective of you, and they always talk about you. Before you arrived, Sunny hated every human except for your dad and Epps. Sides would either always prank or go in his berth room and paint.” He explains.

        Clarissa looks down at her knees, her eyes widening in realization. “What… what’s that supposed to mean?” she whispers, knowing what it meant but needing to hear it come from someone else. Someone who wasn’t her.

        Mudflap chuckles and smiles back at Clarissa. “It means that those two mechs love you, we all know what it looks like for two mechs to be helm of pedes in love with a femme.” He says, his smile turning into a devious smirk. “Since you’ve been at the base, you’ve changed them for the better.”

        A smile broke out on Clarissa’s face, and she let out a happy laugh. She looks at Mudflap, a smile breaking out across her face. “I can’t believe it… they love me?” she asks, getting a nod and a chuckle in return. “I-I think I love them too…” she whispers, laughter escaping her lips.

- Autobot base in Diego Garcia, California -

        Sunny and Sides had been dragged back to the base. Ratchet had drugged them and then the wreckers, Optimus, and Ironhide had dragged them back to the base. The twins weren’t happy about it, not happy at all.

        Sunstreaker was in his holoform, pacing across the rec room where they were locked up in. “I can’t believe they are doing this! They are locking us up so we can’t go after her!” He yells, scowling. His holoform was locking in here while his bipedal form was locked up in the brig.

        Sideswipe looks at his brother and sighs, shaking his head. “I know Sunny, I get what you’re going through.” He whispers, before looking down at the ground. “I want to break out of here and look for her too, but Optimus is right. We have to wait, give it time.”

        Sunstreaker wheels around and glares at his brother and his bonded, shaking his head in frustration before sighing. He calms down and sits beside Sideswipe, wrapping an arm around him. “I’m sorry Sides, for not thinking about you.” He whispers, putting on a small smile for his brother and bondmate.

        Sideswipe chuckles and grins at Sunstreaker. “Its fine Sunny, now come on. We have to see if we can come up with a way to get out of here. Maybe we can’t go after her right now but if we get out and get on their good side, maybe they’ll let us go off and look for her ourselves.” He explains.

        A deep chuckle escapes Sunstreaker as he grins at Sideswipe. “That’s perfect, Sides!” he says, before hopping up and racing over to the door to see if it was feasible for them to escape.

        Sideswipe rushed up the stairs to the kitchen, seeing that they had left the doors to the balcony outside open. “Sunny!” he yells, opening the doors and walking out onto the balcony. His brother soon joined him, looking down to see how high up they were.

        Sunny looks down at the height, before smirking and nodding his head. “We can make the jump.” He says, before his brother and bondmate shook his head and pointed at something beside them. “What is it Si- oh.” He says, spotting the drain pipe. “That makes it a lot easier, Sides.” A devious smirk shows on his face.
